Thanks guys!

I'll keep trying, and we'll see how it works out as the week goes on.

I should do well if school doesn't hit me with as much work as the past weeks.

It is. Next week is finals week. My classes might have assigned review work before the day of the final.

I apparently don't worry about tests as much as other students do. Studying for finals is hard on a lot of people, but I don't have to study that much. Either I'm very smart or I remember the material well. Which is weird, since I can't even tell you what I did last Saturday!

I've lost the knack for studying...

It's been years and years since I've been out of school.

I'm ready to be done with school because of all the homework lately. It's ridiculous. I was never this busy all the other years. They're doing it since we're about to go to college, I guess.

I'm afraid I'll be like my Mom was.

She had a 20 second memory towards the end...
She could remember things from years back, but couldn't remember if she had eaten or not.

Jeannie, that runs in the females of my mother's side of the family. I'll have it with almost a 90% certainty....its an extremely dominant gene. I know how you feel......

Sounds just like me! I have more vivid memories of when I was three than of last night.

In her case, it was dementia caused by her diabetes.

I've found out that I now have diabetes, so I'm a bit worried about it.
But I'm not on insulin, so as long as I can stay off it, I think I'll be OK.

....

what were we talking about again?

@Jean: :rofl:
:o Eek, my mom has that! I really hope I don't get it. My grandfather on my mother's side died of dementia. (Is that accurate? The dementia is what kills you?)

I think it affects people differently.

In her case, her brain actually shrunk because of it.

She died of colon cancer though...
