All I've had so far was a chicken eating... I think it was Nalin, but he looked all scruffy, so I'm not so sure.

well.. lets see first Fasa, my cat, died, then my brother in law Barry Died 'sigh' and not to long after him my cat Lucky died..then i got sick.. this is the first week where i actually went out of the house other hten to help a friend move 'blinks'

Meh..add int he fact I have everyone and their mother trying to shove me into getting another cat and its just.. tireing. can't they understand all the work that entails shots.. declawing.. all of that 'sigh'

Not only that but it's not like replacing a tv or a radio or something. You need some time to grieve over their passing.

no one understands that i know they mean well. but its just.. annoying so now Im accepting a stray that a friends been feeding once her neighboor catches it.. and is just..i'd of perffered a kitten 'sigh' less bagage..

My grandma's kids did the same thing to her when her cat passed. The went out straight away and found another cat in a shelter and gave him to her. I agree about starting with a kitten as well, that way they imprint themselves on you. :yes:

i already said yes just to get people to SHUT UP about it 'sigh' i dont' WANT another cat right away for one i ahve to save up to be able to get the shots, declawing, nuetering 'sigh' and no one understands that. with a kitten its not so bad.. 'sigh' i mean do they even know if he's been nueared.. declawed?

I can't blame you for wanting them to quit pestering you about it. Though if they're that adamant about the cat. I'd make them chip in for the declaw/neuter since there's a high chance it hasn't had either done. Esp if it's still a stray. (I would think it wouldn't be around if it didn't have claws)

That is a good idea.. 'sigh' im just.. so tired of them doing it so yes i gave in.. and it WAS a house cat so there's a chance it was nuetered. the father was mean and would throw hte poor thing so it ran away. well i HOPE its nuetered.. 'grumbles' really wanted hte kiten hough. but that comes with its own problems. such as piddling everywhere if its not litter box trained.

:hug: Nothing to feel too bad about. Oh geeze, poor cat. Thing will probably be skittish as hell for a while if it's used to that kind of treatment. I got lucky with Twitch. Even though he was a kitten and a stray, he knew right away what the litter box was for.

and yeah.. but he seems to be really friendly at least to dawn and her neighboors 'sigh' im goign to have to remember to pick up cat food tomarrow as if i didn't have ENOUGH on my plate. maybe I'll call her tomarrow and explain i can't afford a cat righ tnow that's why i've been putting it off. because i can't. i don't have the money TO afford one.

Well I told her what you said and I think she plans to get some sleep fairly soon. :) I don't think you need to be too concerned.
