Things are good now, Ry!
We're both over the major coughing stuff... I think the Red Tide has cleared out pretty much.
Today I finish washing all the clothes and linens that we had in the RV, so we should be done with it!
From now on, before we go to the beach, we'll be checking to see where that pesky red tide is hanging...

California Coast sucks at times for swimming. Waters are not that clear and the tides are pretty brutual most of the time. Rip tides are deadly at best.

It's really scary being caught in a rip tide.
We get them off the Gulf Coast too... but they aren't super bad.

I have fond memories of my childhood... my Grandmother lived in a cottage by a lake in Michigan (not Lake Michigan). Just a small lake. We used to swim there all the time.
I had these little rubber shoes I'd wear, cuz the bottom was this oozy goozy muck that I hated squishing between my toes.
This was before all the aqua sandals became available...

Lakes are fun to swim in, my family used to go a lot of camping trips when I was a kid to the Redwoods and Collins lake. The neighbors would go with us and take their boat so we also got to do tubing and some skiing.

Lots of up keep though. They still have the boat, but it's in pieces needing to be repaired and overhauled. Jamie's brother Sean keeps swearing that he's going to get it up and running, but then again he's said that for a few years now. Ugh.

Sounds kinda like our RV. It's a money pit. A black hole that swallows up the $$...
And to make it worse, Holiday Rambler has gone bankrupt, so it's almost impossible to get parts now. My hubby has been spending all day looking for a part for the door...

That sucks something fierce. If it makes you feel any better, I have a Saturn. They are discontinuing the cars in 2011, which means that even after they are gone I will have the car because it's being paid through a 6 year loan. Damn.

I was so shocked that Saturn was going away. I had thought that it was a good car... it had good consumer confidence generally.
We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a PT Cruiser.
Chrysler is still around, but things are kinda shaky.
That bear is just evil...

That bear looks down right cuddly.
Saturn is a great car, but their parent company thinks they are hemorraging and they are. Sales are down, but so are all the car companies. But it's their choice to make and so Saturn stops production in 2011. Joy.

He's just being friendly. There is a smile on his face and his nails need to be trimmed, but otherwise he'd be a great addition to my room.

I think she meant Richard Simmons who is the Smarmy work out guy.
And truthfully, he looks like he just wants a popsicle or something. Yeesh, claws like a lion and everyone think you want to eat them.
