Yukina came to stand in front of the big house and sighed. Perhaps this would be her new home...It was were she belonged. She looked back down at her car, all of her stuff was packed into it and here she stood in front of the house that the "God" Lived in. Bracing herself she walked up to the door and knocked. She expected to be shooed away as she had been by her parents, perhaps she wasn't worthy of being around the god, a lousy dog..

Satori was walking around the gardens. She heard a knock and smiled. She went up to the gate and opened it. She looked at the girl at the gate and smiled.

"Well If it isent Yukina. Hello. I am Satori Sohma. I havent seen you since you were a small child. Are you here for the new years party?"

She was a beutiful girl but very weak. She was always sick. It was part of being the god of the Sohma family curse. She was in charge of running the house and the members. Her favorite member so far was Sigoru. She was the most obedient and she did everything asked of her without complaint.

"Ye..Yes. I hadn't realized that anyone would know me except Jai since I had been on the mainland with the none Zodiac Sohma's." She said bowing to the beautiful young girl.
She looked almost sickly, but she was still beautiful. She felt that she wasn't pretty enough to even think about being in the company of this girl. She smiled and stood back up.
"Are the others here?" She asked with a nervous laugh.

Satori chuckled.

"Not all but quit a few. Hopefully the cat will decide to join us this year. If he dosent then I am going to have to teach him a lesson for not obeying me."

Her tone took on a fierce note. She did tend to get angry easily.

Sigoru walked over when she saw Satori and ran up to her.

"Satori Are you ok? You are supposed to be resting."

She looked at the girl and smiled.

"Hi im Sigoru Sohma. I am the rabbit. WHo are you?"

Satori chuckled and put her arm around Sigorus shoulders.

"This my dear Sigoru is the dog. She is here for the new years celebration."

"Hi, I'm Yukina. I was actually wondering if there are any Zodiac members who might want a roommate. I want to finish school out here and live with my fellow family members." She said shyly looking down. She wasn't much of a talker, as she had always been cautious around people, since when she was younger she tried to hug a really cute boy in her class, and suddenly he had his arms wrapped around a puppy. She had never gone back to that school again. She wondered idelly if this girl really hated the cat, or was just sick of him not showing up.

Leiko had decided to follow Sigoru to see, god... The rat was never fond of god, she always seemed demanding, but Leiko would of course keep that to herself. When they reached Satori it seemed another member of the cursed Sohma family was here. It just happened to be the dog, Yukina.

Softly she curtsied to Satori and Yukina. Leiko had indeed seen Yukina before, but that was many years ago. When little Leiko had first arrived at the main house. "Hello, it is nice to see you again," she said softly,"In case you have forgotten, I'm Leiko..." She turned her attention to Satori and grimaced when she saw how sickly she was. "Good Afternoon Satori. I am sorry you are not well." Leiko stood a short distance between both groups.

Satori smiled as she saw leiko.

"Well if it isent the rat. I sure hope you have your dance ready for the feast. I am so looking forward to it."

Sigoru watched Satori a moment trying to see what it was about her that made her so evil to others. She had never seen her treat anyone badly. To her she had always been super nice.

"Yukina there is always room in the Sohma family house for any zodiac members."

Sigoru said smiling.

"Its always been that way. THe cat can live here if he wanted to but it just might be pure hell to him."

Satori chuckled a bit at this comment.

"That cat has disgraced the Sohma family when he refused to attend my feast at the beginning of time. He does not even deserve the honor of being in my presence. If he does not come to the party this year I am going to have to teach him a lesson about not obeying me. I think I might just send a messenger to escort him here to make sure he attends."

She started to shake and fell down.

Sigoru ran to her and helped her up. She was never well.

"Satori you have overexerted yourself again. Do not worry I will go see the cat and make sure he comes. You come lay down now. I do not want you sick or hurt."

Kyo sifted his bag on his back and looked at the Sohma house in the distance. Smiling as his inhaned vision picked up movement in the garden he decided to make a big entrance. He just couldnt resist. He ran down the hill and gracefully jumped into the tree just outside the gate. He climbed up and jumped over the gate and landed in a squatting poistion in the garden. He stood and smiled wickedly. "Hey," he said grinning and seeing Satori his smile softened. "What I miss?" he asked put his bag on his other shoulder.

Satori pushed Sigoru away and went up to Kyo. She did miss her dear friend a lot.

"hello Kyo. Its nice to see you again."

She gave him a slight hug. After all Sohmas in the zodiac were allowed to hug whenever they wanted to.

"Sigoru will you go and make sure the cat makes his way here in time for the party. I will be with Kyo. We have a lot to catch up on."

She grabbed his hand and pulled him away with her to her sitting room. She sat down and snaped her fingers for the servants to bring them a drink.

Sigoru chuckled and smiled. She took off out of the gate and to the villiage. She knew the cat didnt live far from here and she would find him and make sure he was aware of the consiquences of not attending the party.

Kyo smiled and followed Satori. He looked around and sat. "So how has everything at the house been? Keeping those servants in line?" he asked with a smile. He could tell she had been pushing herself agan and that's another reason why he had arrived early. He didn't want to see her exert herself. He was one of the only people who could talk some sense to her now and again.

She smiled at him. SHe knew that he was the one Sohma member she trusted completely.

"Yes of course. I had a few issues with them wanting to mate with some of our members but I fixed that quickly. They know of the zodiac secret but are not allowed outside the gates or to talk to family members. I have been having a few problems with that stupid cat. Hes supposed to keep me updated on whats been going on but has not been. I am going to have to punish him"

She growled and her tone took on a seriously mad expression. She was very unhappy. She turned pail and fell back against her chair. She did it again.

Leiko bowed a little as Satori commented about her dance. "I am well prepared," she answered kindly. She was quite surprised when Kyo showed up so suddenly. "Hello, Kyo," she said softly. Leiko knew that God and Kyo were close. Deciding now was not the time to stick around she started to walk away and looked to Yukina. "If you would like to come sit by the gate with me you are more than welcome," she offered gently with a charming smile. Leiko didn't like hanging around god for extended periods of time anyway feeling that the woman was quite cruel.

Yuki stood by the gates watching people walk in and out. This was one of the worst times of the year for her, since she didn't really like anybody that was here. Her favorite was Satori Sohma mostly because she was only a year older then herself. She sat down in the grass and sighed.

Kyo was up on his feet in a flash and looked at Satori worriedly. He put a gentle hand on her forehead and looked into her eyes. "you should really keep calm.... you'll give yourself a fever worrying about the cat." he said and smiled softly. he turned to a servant and told them to bring water and a towle. He then sat at Satori's feet and looked up at her. Just like he used to when they were small. "If i went to fetch him would that calm you?" he offered already thinking of the fun adventure he could have along the way.

Yukina as she fell then stood again. "Umm...are you all right?" She asked nervously. She had been warned before coming here that the god had a temper, and this girl seemed to be the god. She set her only suitcase down next to the door and slipped her shoes off and stepped inside.

She smiled at him and put her hand on his head.

"That would be wonderful. Kyo I knew I can count on you. your the most trustworthy of all the Sohmas. I would trust you more than anyone. You take Sigoru with you. SHe needs to get out of here for a while anyways. "

She bent down close to his head and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Be careful I wouldnt trust that cat with anything."

Kyo smiled and stood and kissed satori's hand. "Aren't I always careful?" he said with a wicked grin and looked at her. "You dont push yourself and I'll have him here in no time." he said and headed to the door. He then turnd back to her about to add something and shook his head. "good to see you Satori." he said and left. He walked back outside and breathed in the fresh air greatfully. He spotted some of the zodiac sitting by the gate and decided to see if they knew where the bunny had hopped to. "Hey, do you guys know where Sigoru has hopped too?" he asked flashing a smile.

Yuki looked up at the tiger. Oh man it's Kyo Yuki thought to herself sadly. "No" she answered quietly.

Kyo looked at her and tilted his head. His smile dissappeared. "Did I miss something?" he said noting her tone. He looked at her with his golden eyes and then remembered she didnt talk much. "I sware I wont bite." he said with a smile.

Yukina walked over to the god and curtsied. "Can I get you anything?" She asked with a smile. She was used to taking care of sick people, since the woman who raised her had gotten sick, and she helped take care of her since her own daughters wouldn't.

"I'm not worried about that" Yuki muttered. She looked back at the gates.

"Okay...." he said comming to a dead end again. He found that this happened alot whenever he tried to talk to Yuki. "Do you know where the bunny hopped off to?" he asked pointing the question at the other girl. He had talked to Leiko now and again but not enough to know her too well. He just knew she usually knows what was going on around the Sohma house.

Lexi Sohma having gotten back from her Kung Fu lessons walked through the Sohma gates. Not so much walking through as climbing over as was her habit. She made her way into the house. God had left her a note at the gate saying she wanted to talk to her when she got back so that was the first person she headed to. She saw Yukina there and wanted to play a trick but saw that god was nearby and that took precedence. Being one of the most childish of the Sohmas she often forgot her manners and just popped up unexpectedly like now "HI GOD... you wanted to see me about something?"

Satori smiled at the others who approached.
"I am fine now thank you. I would like some privacy please go see to the others who are arriving."

Sigoru continued walking down the lane to the villiage. She did so love to travel.

Yuki watched Lexi walk into the house and she stood up. She decided she would stalk Kyo just for something to do. She usually did this but she never did it to Kyo. She looked at him and her eyes sparkled. This should be interesting since this boy can't sit still Yuki thought to herself smiling slightly. She followed him when he went to talk to Leiko,the rat, and looked at her. This was another girl Yuki barely ever came into contact with.
