Imgur has changed in the last few years to really discourage people from finding the direct link. I usually have to right click the image itself and copy the direct link image from there to use with [ img] tags.

I always felt so comfortable there. I love the background because it was easy on the eyes and I loved how easy it was to find the link. And I thought it was just because I was using the mobile app. Which, I do not like at all. I didn't realize that it was publicly posted. And I'm totally not intrested in people's comments about what I choose to Save. I just don't like mean girl mentality.

Oh god no. I set all my stuff to private. Sometimes I forget to check the little box and it freaks me out.

I can see why most people share things on imgur but I really only use it for image hosting and to remove metadata from photos.

Yeah lesson learned.

I havent had any problems getting direct links for my stuff. It says "direct link" on the desktop version on the side when viewing your own image.

I just knew about adding the file format from taiyo's links for my avi contest lol. The .png didn't copy over so i just typed it.

It probably has something to do with how imgur automatically puts uploads into their own album. I should probably google and find out what I'm doing wrong.

Haha like I said I don't seem to have much of a problem I upload one thing at a time though too

Do you use the app or desktop site? Are you just coping the wrong link?

The options are different when you click from https://imgur.com/user/USERNAME versus https://USERNAME.imgur.com/all

Seems obtuse, especially because the app doesn't even have an option for "Images".

On the app you just press the little person icon on the bottom right and it goes to your posts right away

Yeah. I guess what I'm trying to explain is that I'm used to the app and clicking on the person icon to view my profile in order to access and share my images. My main problem is that the *only* share option available from profile view (and therefore the only option on mobile) is a link that links back to the album, not the direct image link. So I guess most of my frustration comes from how most people who use the desktop after the mobile wouldn't necessarily realize that "Images" provides additional functionality. Like I said, unintuitive design.

OH yeah okay there's only one share option for that, aka one link option. I'm with ya again! sorry xD i almost never copy the link from my phone, I just upload them xD
