Yea shing pretty much we all have roles and the aim really is to kill off the mafia, but the mafia have to work hard at convincing non mafia they aren't mafia (if that makes sense) but we have a doctor and a detective among us too and I think they may be pretty important, so we have to go on instinct but also be cautious its a game of tactics I think.

Since no one knows who has what role. And no one is willing to admit what role they have in fear of being killed. That kinda makes it so everyone could be anything.

well might as well lynch someone who's not talking! i mean we're not really figuring anything out because... we can't really tell at this point anyway but at least good company wont die haha

Though I am still a little confused with how the game works.

How does the mafia kill someone each night? And how does the detective inspect people?

They communicate privately using the handy PMs. ;D

the detective probably chooses someone at random (or from observation) to PM and they get to know their role. or maybe they PM the game head (? on the site this game is based on the detective gets to private chat someone and ask their role and then communicate it to the townies)

not sure about the mafias? maybe they have their own vote and private thread that we cant access? i'm not sure how it works on a forum tbh
