I'm starting to feel that way too.
I didn't get the chance to do very much today, but I'm still wiped.

Hey, Knerd. :3 Day was wonderful for me. Watched the Wimbledon games, and just relaxed on the whole. How was yours?

@Wendy
Not bad, not bad.
I picked up my new pair of glasses, so that was kind of exciting. They're not so different from my regular pair. It's just nice to have a back-up in case I break these ones.

@Knerd: Yeah, I have a similar pair to my normal pair of glasses as a backup. They're mainly in use when I have to get my lenses changed / updated and one pair has to be in the shop getting fixed. I can't be blind during the time that they're replacing them, so the backups are my savior in that time. XD

I'll just be glad when my eyes stabilize enough to the point that I can finally get that Lasik surgery. No more worrying about glasses prescriptions or switching into contacts when I feel like changing my appearance (which is way too much).

Same, Ayumi. T_T I'm up to 20/675 in the right eye + an asigmatism and 20/625 in the left eye. I hate my eyesight. D:

I have no idea how that works....
*rummages for her contacts*

- 3.00 in right eye, -2.50 in left eye. What ever that means.

My eyes have held steady for a while. I'm happy with my prescription right now, so hopefully I'll be able to use it for a few more years.

Just jumping into the convo here... I heard some there's a few negative side effects to Lasik, so I'm too chicken to get it. Hell, I'm even too nervous to use contacts!

Besides, I think I look better in glasses :D

Same here. :yes:

I like my glasses. There's no reason to pretend that I don't need them - I might as well proudly wear them!

Haha, glasses are just so much more convenient for me.
I don't see why people would want contacts AND reading glasses on top of that...

I love my glasses, even though they are plain.

@Ayumi: 20/300 and 20/250. You're lucky yours aren't near as bad as mine, I'd give anything to have vision like that. @_@

@Hamlet: I would be afraid to get it, but my parents, my uncle, and countless other family members have gotten it and had next to no problems. They only use reading glasses for UBER fine print.

Glasses make me look like a kid. e_e;

Haha, but I'm also younger than you. Mine gets worse by 50 every year. Just give it a few.
xD;

I like my glasses. Oddly enough, my mom hates me wearing glasses and would give anything for me to use contacts, even paying for reading glasses. Crazy.

I only need to wear my glasses for distance, so I have prescription sunglasses that I often tend to wear as a headband. It works...At night I switch to my "night vision" and wear normal glasses, for some reason I notice my night vision is worse than my day vision. Anyone else like that?

The only reason I use glasses instead of contacts at this point is for the cost issue. Glasses with a one time pay for frames and a pay for lense changes every year or two isn't as bad as paying for each and every individual pair of contacts that you have to change every two weeks of wear. @_@;

Daria, during the night, it is natural for you to have worse vision because of the lack of light that can be sent into your eyes.
Unless there are new night vision glasses.
:'D!!!

LOL, mine are old "night vision" glasses. I live in a REALLY sunny state, so sunglasses are a requirement! I use my glasses for TV, movies or driving at night...That's about it though.

I love my glasses, especially because I have 20/9 vision, and 20...something. One is far sighted, the other near. Plus, they actually make me look older because they're so sophisticated looking. (I look two or three years younger than I am without them)

I wear aviators.
All day. Everyday.
Takes me twice as long if I'm walking home at night, and I often end up in creepy old factories being used by twitchy scientists with a monocle conducting science experiments on dead rats...
They get confused when they look in my eyes, though, and see themselves.
Doesn't take much to hypnotize them with that, and casually make my escape.

I think regular glasses on me would be too much.

Sorry guys! I'll try to fit a round in tomorrow!
