Got laundry done yesterday so all my basketball shorts would be clean. Wearing pants is hard. Let me check if my mom is going in the shower.

lol. i agree. i hate pants. i stopped wearing pants several years ago. skirts, all year round!

I'd love to wear skirts if I could! I'm just poor, lol. Wearing basketball shorts is basically like wearing no pants, though.

lol. fair enough. i make my own clothes more often than not. i have that luxury. not everyone does. also, skirts are cheaper then pants in most places. like average pants $12 to $80. average skirt $5 to $25. that is one of the reasons i like skirts.

Yeah, I think costs have to do with the production costs of denim? Not entirely sure. Most skirts are just wavy pieces of fabric. :o

I just buy everything at the thrift store, and don't go anywhere so I don't have to bother putting on nice clothes. It's the only real solution.

I like sweatpants and tanktops, but it's too warm for sweatpants and that makes me angry. Screw summer!

she buys a lot of stuff at the thrift store especially stuff to take apart or use as bits for costume pieces for the Renaissance Festival.
most of her nice clothing is stuff that can be used for ren fest

I just am too cheap to pay a bunch of money for clothes. The little ones clothes come from there too, because I'm not about to pay $8 for a shirt, when I can pay $.50.

Being thrifty is a hard skill to have these days. I love going to thrift stores, but it's hard finding anything tl that fits me well

It's hard finding clothes that fit right. It also doesn't help that like thrift stores are starting to realize they're popular again, so they've been raising prices. It's like, I'm not going to pay you $10 for someone's old jeans. Kids clothes is getting horrible. They're wanting like $5 for some used kids jeans! I've seen some clothes that sell at Walmart for about $4, and they want $3 for them. I'd buy them new before I'd pay nearly that much. It's annoying.

yeah i like making my own clothes. i get what i want, every time, and it always fits! sure i pay more for it, but its worth it. i look so cute all the time!

They have, which sucks because now there is less stuff and higher prices at the thrift stores. :/

Goodwill always seems to have good prices, but their selection is kind of...lacking.

Yeah, the Goodwill around here had horrible choices, so I don't bother much. Like in the kids clothes, just about everything there is about 10-20 years out of date.
