The sights and sounds of this place, were different from his own usual home. Then again, it had been awhile since he had seen his home, so maybe they wern't so different. Pausing for a moment, a slight familiar scent reached him through the swarm of unfamiliar ones. So, thecat man was around? He had little intrest in a conflict at the moment, so he let it slide and moved on. He walked along taking a look at the city around him, as well as the people. Humans, simple creatures. An object caught his eye, a big red ball rolled into his path. Moments later, a young girl ran over. She laughed as she picked up the ball, only then noticing and turning to look at him. She looked up at him, with her mouth slightly open. He must have been like a giant to her, since he was usually tall anyways to others. His people...on his father's side...would have done away with her for daring to move in their way, but his human side that had been raised by his mother was different. He smiled, crouching down. He gently rubbed her head,"you should be careful." A bright smile formed on her face, "ok mr. Giant!" Giggling, she ran off. He smiled, watching her go.

Adair ducked behind a building as he got closer to the other man. He was close enough to hear and see clearly whatever he needed to, but still far enough behind that he was unseen. He was glad for his sensitive hearing as a girl ran up to Damian. For a second Adair was worried, but the other man was only friendly and that only served to make him more curious. Now Adair was definitely not going to leave the other alone. He started to creep closer, using the other people around as a sort of shield as he merged with groups of other people like he belonged there. He wondered how long he could follow after the other man before he got noticed. It was a fun game to play at and it gave him something to do. The information he gathered would also be a great help for a later time when he was ready to rechallenge him for a fight.

The wolf man was curious about the one following him, how long did he plan on being there? It was not like it was really a threat, so there was no need for confrentation as he had thought of before. However, even now the curiosity made him think of a cat, so that he chuckled a bit to himself. He continued on, a scent soon reaching his senses. He had not smelled it in awhile, so for a moment he hesitated. It couldn't be...could it? He sighed, that was deffinetly Mosquieto's scent.

He was a tiny old man, barley coming up to Damian's hips, with grey hair, wrinkles and slightly buldging bug like eyes. His most astounding feature however, was his nose. It was long and round, coming to a point. Sort of like as if someone had stuck an ice cream cone to his face. He looked like an odd human man to those who did not know better. To Damian who did, he was not someone one would be happy to meet in a dark ally. He was sort of like a vampire without the fangs.

He was a demon, when he needed to feed, his long cone nose would lengthen and stab into his victims, draining them of their blood, leaving a husk that gave beef jerky a bad name. Damian sighed. He worked for the Widdow, formally known by those of the supernatural world as the Black Widdow. A powerful witch, who lived within the human world now, granting wishes and running a shop for those who did not know what truly laid inside.

She would take money, but she would also take another payment of a special kind if someone needed something more difficult or such done. He did not want to run into her, but he had not noticed his own feet moving. He stood in front of an old victorian style shop, clothed in black, that looked far out of place umong the more modern style buildings and life around it.

The door opened, and the little old man by the name of Mosquito smiled up at him, with a little black suit on and a top hat that seemed to add another two feet to him. "Hello Damian, it has been awhile, Lady Black will see you" he stepped aside for the wolf man to enter. He stared into the darkness that seemed to be alive and moving to his advanced senses, while the humans around him noticed nothing, continuing about their lives. With a sigh, he stepped inside.

There was a buzz in the air now that Adair had felt on many other occasions before. It was a different feeling than any other demonic presence he ever felt. When he glanced around, he realized why. The strange black shop was one he was familiar with and one he avoided whenever he could. Every time he got near it, it felt like icy water were dripping all the way down from his hair, covering every inch of his skin and the electricity to the air put him on edge. He only went in the shop once before, back when he had no sensitivity to the magic realm. Here was where he learned of the true nature of the wound on his arm, though for the paltry amount he'd paid for the knowledge, he'd learned very little about it. Even now he wasn't totally sure what the taint in his blood meant.

He almost considered turning around and forgetting the whole stalker business when the midget man addressed Damian by name. There was a connection between him and the shop? Now Adair was too curious to walk away. After they had slipped inside, he crept up to the door and leaned in close, hoping to use his superior sense or hearing to catch some of the conversation. He didn't dare get any closer to the shop than the door, but he was going to do his best job of eavesdropping.

The old bookstore feel of the outside continued on within. There were shelves of more than just books however, jars and bottles that held things most people would think a joke. There were gems and jewlery, talasmans and more. Mosquito led the way through the winding shelves of the ground floor. Damian glancing back at the door, slightly catching a glimpse of the cat man from there. Black often spent her time in the back room, or in her more private quarters on the floor above them. He would learn little from listening to a glass door. He would have to dare the trip inside, then, he would be a fly caught in the spider's web. They brushed aside the black curtains from the back, the strong smell of insence filling his senses, his body calmed. He knew this was on purpose, it was sleeper root from his world. When drank or eaten, it could put one to sleep, to high a dose and it would be a permanent sleep. Though when burned or taken in indirectly, it had a sort of dream effect on the body, calming it and making one a bit hazy or drowzy, as if the world were really far away right around them. He had had a few run ins with it, as with most poisons and such. Luckily his body was strong against such things. He glanced towards a black chair behind a dark desk, where the beautiful vision of Lady Black Widdow sat looking back at him. The very webs of her precious spiders seemed to be reflected in her eyes. Like most spider webs, they were invisible to those who did not know what to look for, the oblivious and unwise. She fit in well with humans, because most failed to notice this, those who saw a glimour of it, thought it was a trick of the light. She smiled at him from behind the desk, "welcome."

No matter how hard Adair listened, he couldn't hear anything. Obviously the others had walked deeper into the shop and the door was really not a conductor for sound. He sighed, wondering what he should do. He should leave is what he should do and he knew that. His curiosity had yet to dissipate though. This was such a good opportunity for him to get information. It would be worth it, probably. Besides, what could possibly go wrong in a creepy, magic-smelling bookstore?

Adair pushed open the door with a small growl of frustration. The creepiness didn't let up once he was inside, instead doubling in intensity as he crept inside. He didn't plan to go off exploring, but staying near the door, looking at the shelves to give him a reason for being there. Damian and the weird little guy had probably gone to the back of the shop where he could sense most of the magic aura. He definitely wasn't going to go back there.

Lady Black looked towards the curtains a few moments after the two had come. “Seems we have another guest, someone who should not be here” she opened a long ornate fan that she kept on the desk. It was black, carrying on the spider theme, as she placed It before her face a bit. Mosquito gave a bow, walking out of the back room. Damian glanced after him, with a slight sigh. The other must have come in. He looked to the woman before him, what was her reasoning for taking an intrest in him? He had done nothing that he knew of, to catch her attention. A sigh built up within him, though he kept it at bay for now. He would wait for her to speak, to see how this would play out.

Adair heard the approach of someone before he saw them. He turned slightly, trying to appear innocent as he could. He smiled like a lost kid at the weird short guy who had walked out of the back room. Adair really didn't want to make acquaintances with this person and he could already tell he was unwelcome. It would be best to hurry and leave. He just kept smiling though. "Hello there. What a....fascinating shop this is," he said, wincing slightly at the word 'fascinating'. He would rather have used the word disturbing. "I hope I'm not somewhere I'm not supposed to be." He accented his words with a more feral grin. He was daring the little man to say it was so. Then Adair would have a reason to be pissed and if he was pissed, he wasn't bothered by anything.

Mosquito smiled right back, "not at all, all are welcome into Miss Lady's shop. Is there something that you are looking for?" He was no fool, the smile the other was giving him was not going to fool him, niether would the words that followed. The other knew he should not be here, so obviously he was up to something. Instead of losing his own cool and thus giving any hint to the other's suspicions of this place being correct, he merely stayed composed. He had been at this game for awhile now alongside the miss, so it was merely a game of words and skill. He looked at the other from under the rim of his tall hat. If worst came to it, he would merely have a bit of...lunch. he chuckled a bit to himself.

Adair decided instantly that he didn't like this small guy. He had sharp eyes though his face was funny looking. Sharp eyes meant smarts and Adair knew he wasn't fooling anyone. That didn't mean he was going to stop smiling though. Smiling was better than any other facial expression he could have at this moment. "Ah...looking for something?" He paused. Now that was an interesting question. All of a sudden, he was bored with pretending he was here for no reason. "Rather, it's someone I'm looking for. Big guy, kinda ugly, ya know? I thought I saw him come in here, but I wonder where he went..."

Raising an eyebrow a fraction of an inch, the elder man listened to the other’s response as to what he was looking for. There was indeed Damian here, that werewolf demon half breed but was that who the other was inquiring about? If so, what business could he have with the other? It was not worth interrupting Miss Lady for, besides he was sure she was keeping an eye on things out here. Little happened within this shop or very city that she was not aware of. Now that this thought came to mind, Miss Lady had mentioned a hunter who was being so bold within the normal human realm, and was after beings like them for money. A bum otherwise. Was this him? Mosquito did not falter his smile, inclining his head slightly apologetically to the man. “Forgive me, but I am not at liberty to discuss that, customer and seller confidentiality” he chuckles, “so unless you have a warrant or a badge, you will have to wait outside for whoever you believe may be hanging around.” He turned to head to the counter.

A scowl and a glare instantly descended onto Adair's face when the little man told him to leave. Adair might have wanted to leave earlier, but now that he had been told to, he refused to go. "Buyer, seller confidentiality?" he snapped. "What kind of crap-ass line is that?! I don't care what you say because I know he's in the back room over there. I can sense his and that witch's energy in there!" Adair had no intention of staying still now. He pushed past the little man and headed for the back room. Whether this was a bad idea and got him killed, he honestly didn't care. It's not like he was that attached to this life. Rather, he just wanted to do what he wanted to do. He didn't even care about why he'd come into this shop anymore. What would he do when he did catch up with Damian? He didn't even consider this. Because stalking him was what Adair set out to do, he wasn't going to stop until he was dead.

“Tsk Tsk” Mosquito sighed, in a flash he was in front of the other, blocking the back room. “You should learn to quit while you’re behind fool, you will not survive if you take another step forward” he said. His dark eyes holding a slight malicious gleam to them, there was far more to the old man then he looked at first glance. “I suggest you play it patiently and wait out here or leave if you value any part of your existence. If not go ahead and try to get inside, you will make excellent food for the children and fuel for experiments and potions.” He smoothed out his suit a bit, waiting for the other’s answer. He was not afraid, nor was he bluffing. There was plenty of secrets, magic and power within the shop hidden from the world of the mortals just beyond the door. “I am sure there must be a remotely civilized bone in that oaf of a body” he says looking back at him.

Adair narrowed his eyes at the small man. He could read the other perfectly well. He wasn't joking around and Adair knew this shop well enough to know the things he threatened were perfectly possible. He reached his hand to his blades and flexed his hand around the handle. It would be just like him to start a fight now. It was what he came here for, right? He didn't really know anymore. Finally he dropped his hand away from his weapon and lifted his head in defiance. "Fine, I'll leave. For now. Although I want to stick this knife in your gut, it's no fun to fight indoors." With that simple and blunt reasoning, he spun on his heel and walked out the door without looking back. What he'd said wasn't entirely how he felt. Actually, he did want a fight and still did, but for some reason he had stopped himself from starting it. It was strange behavior for him, but he didn't bother trying to analyze it. He stalked across the street until he came to tree and he sat down under it to take a nap. He had half a mind to not wait around, but he decided that he should so that he could yell at Damian later. He needed something to make this little stalking venture worth it.

Damian remained within the shop for awhile. Speaking with the widdow, who seemed to be very interested in him and while he was here and what he was planning to do. He did not have much to say, and would not tell her even if there was. She was the type who would find out eventually if she really wanted to, but he had no interested in going into detail about his life. He excused himself, going to the door of the shop. He noticed the hunter under a tree across the way. A sigh came to him, as he slipped out the door. He had little intrest in dealing with this guy right now, especially after the widdow and her lacky. Walking down the street, he had the urge to find someplace to get some food. He needed to eat, having not had anything since the night before. He thought about returning to his cave, but at the same time, he did not want this other one to follow him there. It was a home to him, he did not intend on letting someone who was only interested in yelling and fighting inside. He kept his senses trained however on the scene around him.

Adair watched as the other man finally exited the shop. He didn't jump to his feet immediately, but watched for a second, then rose languidly. He'd had a number of minutes to cool down again so he was calm enough for the time being. He walked fast though after the other, enough so that he could catch up without having to run. When he was beside the bigger man, Adair smiled at him as if this were a perfectly normal and chance meeting on the street. "So what did the creeper woman tell you? They wouldn't let me listen in, the bastards," he asked.

"You should be more careful who you spy on" he says, though he did not answer his question. He looked at him, before pausing for a moment. "Why are you following me? I already tod you I have no intention of going back to that hell...or dying" he looked at the other. He wanted to get back to his cave, a bit of exhaustion was beginning to set in with this little man following him around all over the place. If he was going to insist on following him, he was going to end up getting himself killed. People were after Damian, they would not let a wannabe hunter stand in their way. He waited for an answer from the other, his mind a bit still on his conversation within the shop however. He knew they were being watched at the moment as well.

Adair rolled his eyes. He didn't need to be lectured to by the person he was following around. It wasn't like the big guy looked the smart type either, so Adair figured his own logic was safer to follow. "I'm not spying. Spying sounds too boring!" he complained. After a second, he grinned devilishly at the bigger man. "Naturally I'm watching you because you're interesting. This place is boring! You're not pathetic, so you're worth chasing." In simple terms, Adair didn't really have a reason. He was just following Damian around because it seemed like a good idea to his thrill seeking nature.

He raised an eyebrow, the other really was childish and idiotic. He probrably thought he was fooling someone with this little game of his. It was more annoying than anything else at the moment, like being followed around by a puppy. He moved forward, backing the other against the wall of a nearby building. He used a hand to lift his face, "listen here kitty...this little game is getting old. If you are planning to make a move, do something, instead of just following me around like this. Or I will" he says. He leaned in, catching his mouth in a rather rough kiss, before pulling away. He walks away, heading out towards a string of reasturants. He could smell food, it sounded good still to him. He hadn't eaten since his hunt the other night.

Adair took a step back when the other advanced, but he kept his grin on his face. He'd finally gotten under the other guy's skin, so there was no point in being afraid or bothered. It was obvious from the other's behavior that he didn't mean to attack. It didn't take long for Adair's overconfidence to turn to confusion and irritation though. Why did this guy have to invade his personal space in such an awkward way. Just as Adair was about to snap at the other man about it, he was caught off guard by a kiss. His mind blanked from the utter surprise of it. Before he could react, the other had already walked away, leaving Adair to sputter an angry response to no one in particular.

"Who the hell do you think you are?! Do you think that this is what I'm after? Bastard! I'm going to kill you!" Adair dropped his raised fist back to his side and collapsed back against the wall. What the hell had he gotten himself into now? This was no what he expected. Ever.

Damian chuckled as he listened to the other over his shoulder. He lightly ran his tongue over his lip, as he continued walking without even a glance back. If the little kitty kept insisting on pestering him, he would just have to have a bit of fun himself as well. After all, he had been cooped up for so long right? He needed to get back into the swing of things. He was free, there was no way in hell he was going back. So, the best way to get rid of a pest or to curb them to his will, was in fact to beat them at their own game. He paused at the corner, another smile forming on his face as he shielded his eyes, and looked up towards the sky. Alright, it would be some good training for him as well, perhaps he would get to streatch his legs a bit with this one. That was, if the other could keep up. He still had no idea what he was dealing with, though that would come in handy at a later point. He continued walking, heading back towards the forest.

Once Adair finally wrapped his head around what happened--or as wrapped around as he could manage--he stalked through the streets. Every second just made him more angry and he needed something to do to relieve that. No low life criminal would amuse him for long. No, he needed to track down the source of his anger and give that guy a good whooping. When Adair said he would kill Damian, that was meant as a 'at some point' kind of statement. It was starting to feel like a now one though. Once he sensed the other man, he walked in that direction. Good, back to the forest. It was better to kill people out there than in town. He planned his entrance as he walked. He wouldn't play it simple this time after all since he knew what he was up against.

There really was no rush to get things started. Damian sa at the mouth of his cave, taking in the scents of the world around him. He could smell the trees, the grass, the animals and the air around him. The air carried various scents, one of which seemed to be the cat man. He sighed a bit, so, he was coming for a little rematch? Damian did not bother to move, if the other wanted to fight him, he was not going to turn it down. He needed some action, and he could have a bit of fun with him as well. Perhaps after, he would go out and find himself some food. He smiled, smelling some deer within the forest.

He would look into it when he had this little match under wraps. He stood, moving out into a clearing nearby, where he would be in full view. Plopping down in the middle, he would allow the other to make the first move with him. Front. Back. Side. Above. Wherever he planned to be, it was gonna be fun, Damian could not keep the slight smirk from his lips, as he closed his eyes. His arms were crossed over his chest. It was like the inner side of him was surfacing, wanting to come out and play, but it would have to wait. Jumping into things was just plain stupid. That much he knew, though sometimes he did it anyways. This one however, he would force himself to be patient.

Adair walked on quiet feet that didn't suit his noisy demeanor. There was a clearing up ahead and he walked downwind to mask himself as much as possible. He sensed that his target was in the clearing and Adair frowned a bit. He'd been hoping to jump in unnoticed, but it seems that he was expected. Nothing he could do about that though. He pulled out one of his blades and a smaller knife out of his boot. The knife wasn't actually small, but it fit snugly in its hiding place.

He made himself wait. He listened to the sounds of the forest and at the moment that felt right, he hurled the knife at the figure sitting in the clearing. Following after the weapon, Adair ran forward and pulled out his other blade as he swung himself at Damian.

The other was close now and getting closer. Muscles throughout Damian's body began to tighten, ready to move at a moment's notice if need be. Even if the other didn't know about his imortality and he did, it did not stop him from the natural instinct of trying to avoid harm most the time. He could still feel it all after all. Before when he used to fight a lot, he had built up a pretty strong resistance to pain, so he could handle most wounds and heal without even flinching. Being locked up for years though, he had not felt that pain in awhile. That was why training was also important, he needed to toughen up again.

Movement to the side, something was coming at him. The man was coming as well, the scent of both anger and adrinaline coming from him. He turned his body, reaching up with a hand to grab the blade that was hurling towards him. It was a fluid movement, catch and return. He doubted it would hurt the other, but it would force him to either have to stop and block, or change his strategy on a seconds notice. That second, would give Damian time to move back, to prepare himself again. He watched the blade flying back at its owner, pushing himself up to stand, facing the other full on now.
