I lvoe rose gardens, save for the bees and flies that seem to like to piling up on top of flowers sometimes.

I think I might try EMDR to get over my horrible fear of bugs.
I used to not hate bugs, only spiders, then my fear spread over time to hate all bugs. Even butterflies and caterpillars and ladybugs. I used to love caterpillars and ladybugs and butterflies. I'd let them crawl all over my hands and I'd keep them as pets.

Now I freak out whenever I so much as see a picture of one in a book. D:

This is a serious problem! I need intervention!

I'm ok with butterflies, worms, ladybugs, caterpillars, and moths. All other bugs........That's another story. Last night I had just sat down on the couch to eat dinner, a spider was crawling beside me, I freaked and totally forgot I was holding my plate.....I ended up skipping dinner after it ended up everywhere. XD

Ladybugs are good though, they eat the little bugs that kill plants. I think ants are the worst for me, I don't know why but they especially, creep me out.

We have a bunch of bees around here right now too. I think there's like Yellow Jackets somewhere around the garage that can get aggressive. Then there's the bees in our neighbor's building, he won't hire anyone to come get them for a hive (cause their honey bees), we even offered him the number of a beekeeper who would take them for free, wouldn't call.

I don't care. They're demon spawn. They must go.

*sips a cup of tea*

On the subject of bugs, the only ones that really freak me out are spiders, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets. The rest are either just annoying or don't bother me at all.

We get these fruit flies in the autumn every year that multiply to crazy extents and drive me nuts, but they're just annoying and dealt with easily enough. Otherwise not many bugs actually come into the apartment. You really only run into spiders and mosquitoes and such if you go out into the woods. So nice :)

I really wish bugs didn't scare me.
I think in the back of my mind, I know butterflies and caterpillars aren't bad and won't hurt me, but just something about having more than two legs freaks me out.
I think it's a learned condition.

If it crawls, who is smaller than me and not a child...I'm gone! And my work has been infested by crickets too....

Oh man, crickets are awful D: I hear you there, Gwena. I once lived in an apartment with lots of crickets, and they're hard to catch and make noise. Yick. We'd hear them at night when we were trying to sleep, and that was awful. Not so bad when they're outside, but when they're hiding in the bedroom... yeah...

I think the thing with bugs is that they are so small and so... creepy crawly.

I like honey, too, but am not a fan of most bugs. Butterflies are an exception.

I remember we caught a cricket in a milk jug at our old house. It had been above the basement door if I'm remembering right. It was fun to watch when it was in the jug and I knew it couldn't get me. I think we ended up releasing it outside. I can't remember really well though, I was really little. I love the sound of crickets, as long as they stay outside.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that I'm afraid of all bugs and it doesn't matter if they're harmless or not?
/fireflies are TERRIFYING when you can see their body
/just glow, pretty

I like bats! Bats eat bugs :D

I was told I should like spiders because they'll catch the mosquitoes, and I said heck no. I'd rather have more bats to eat the mosquitoes :P

Yuck. I hate spiders.
I want to cry when I see them. D:

I wish they didn't exist. They should go back to the fiery pits of hell where they came from!
DANTE'S INFERNO.

No, but, birds are lovely. I love birds!
