There is a new SimCity coming out on March 5th.
I'm really excited about it. It looks awesome.

I've never really been a big SimCity fan, but only because it's all too complicated for me. The new one looks really simple and easy to understand and I love that.

I also really like that you will be able to connect different cities in a region easily and the cities work together, like in the real world.

March 5th needs to come sooner.

I've never played any of the SimCity games myself. But I did a quick Google search, and it does look interesting. I've heard that some of the games can be quite complex... not that it's a turn off. I just never got around to purchasing any of the games in the franchise.

The concept of being able to connect different cities is quite intriguing, though! o:

I played a lot of Sim City 2000 back on it's days. I think I'll check it's mmo version you speak of too! I hope it's not limited by stamina, energy or time nor that it feels like it would take ages to do anything...

I'm actually thinking of getting into Sim City 2000. I'm just remembering watching my friends playing it in grade 6 and it looked really fun. I might give it a go before the new one comes out. I watched the trailer and it looks pretty neat!

I think I tried another company's knock-off version of it called Capitalism. It was quite complex but then again it may be completely different to Sim City and that I was only grade 6.

I had to play sim city 2000 for a computing course in my first year of high school (Don't question it, it was great), and I got pretty good at it. I'm really looking forward to playing this new version.

I'm looking forward to the new SimCity as well. Managed to get into the two beta sessions for it thanks to pre-ordering it. I enjoyed it. A lot. xD

I'm probably going to get it, but not until the price comes down considerably. I've been playing Cities XL on Steam but it's just not the same...

I only kept my preorder for it because I really want to play it and because Amazon is offering a $20 credit for pre-ordering it. >.>

It's been ages since I last played a sim city game, so when I heard about this I had to get it.
So now it's sitting in my Origin list waiting for it to become available for download.

Yeah. It's not too bad at all.
Although I'm not really a fan of the limited city size. I suppose that's to encourage you to play with others and I can definitely see the advantages to doing so.
I find this one to be more Sim and less City Building than previous games. Apparently the reason you have to always be online is because their servers handle the simulation because it would be too much for the average computer to handle.

I have read some news about they cannot handle the server well... XD
