Ah J-Dramas...the Japanese equivalent to soap operas. Yet I find them so much better than their american counterpart due to the fact that many are based off of manga and anime series.

Current favorites:

Gokusen
Absolute Boyfriend


Any other J or K drama fans out there?

I love Jdramas! I've only been watching them for about a year, but they are so awesome! I like Gokusen (1-3), Yukan Club, Hana-Kimi, Abarenbo Mama, and Nobuta wo Produce. I've also just started watching My Boss, My Hero, Gachi Baka, Daisuki!! and Last Friends. The only Kdrama that I've watched so far is Bad Family and I haven't finished it yet, but it's good so far. And I have to agree, Japanese shows are much better than American ones. I hardly watch TV at all, but I watch Jdramas like crazy. ^^;

Ohh i love J and k dramas! hehe.

The ones that you listed i also like except Absolute Boyfriend because i have yet to watch that.
but some other favorites are

I love Absolute boyfriend. I recently gotten into it through a friend and haven't been able to stop reading it since.

I figured. But since its based on the drama, it really doesn't make much of a difference. I wouldn't even know where to watch the dramas, I don't have any sources.

Crunchyroll has a bunch of shows ^^.

You have to register tho. sometimes it won't let you watch videos unless you log in.

I used to be addicted to anime of all sorts, now I'm more into the manga than I am the anime. Its a weird thing, I guess its because I love to read in general that the mangas seem to catch my interest, and it also seems like the art is better.

I'm the same way.
I like manga way better than Anime.
Now tho i watch about the same amount of manga and drama.

@thoughtlessamaya: If you've got a Livejournal account and don't mind downloading, there's a Jdrama community called jdramas. They've got a ton of Asian dramas and they're all English subbed.

MatsuJun's awesome! I didn't even realize he was from Arashi at first until I was looking at his Wiki after I started watching Gokusen and was like *Gasp* He's a member of Arashi!? How did I not realize this! >.< I also like Kamenashi Kazuya, Akanishi Jin, Yamapi, Nakama Yukie, Horikita Maki, Nishikido Ryo, Ueto Aya, Oguri Shun...gah...most the actors I like are from JE...I am such a fangirl. ^^;

Being a fangirl makes watching J-Dramas all the better.

Yes. The movie comes out at the end of this month. I AM SO EXCITED.

It has something to do with an island, the F4 and Makino. I really cannot wait until it comes out. It will be the final part after the second season of Hana Yori Dango, which ended a few months ago.
