Today I was like, Man, NOTHING can stop this snow! And then I realized ; MAGNUS CAN. Magnus' awesome acts like an invisible vortex and sucks in all the bad weather, and sends it to an alternate dimension when everything sucks.

He chooses not to use it to maintain world peace.
