i think there's a forum where you post art and people say how much you think they should sell it for

min, i don't follow the gaia economy. I never really got on. I only have a few items there and they're only worth a few million. Maybe more since it's been OVER a year since i've logged in. <_<;

@avi: Fingers crossed for it getting higher! =P If it does get a bit higher, I think I'll do a bid ladder and offer more stuff. Kind of like "if it's over 20k, I'll add ____" and stuff like that.

Sometimes. I mean, if I offered the same things as I do in my shop, I don't believe it would go for higher. But auction generally get higher bids because people are bidding on something that's offered very rarely and will be worked very hard on, and not just something the artist draws up every day. ^^;

Especially for Min's art.

She's been commissioned for a LOT more then 13k. Namely, one of the pieces she's working on now is being paid with a gold clover pin, I think. Which is worth over 200k. So honestly, 13k is a deal for her art. ;)

Cornell is kind of famous for being a very hard school, but also as an easy ivy league to get into. Some kids can't take the pressure. Some of those kids may have never gotten an F before, then get F's.... they can't handle the pressure. One of my mom's friend's daughters is really feeling pressured because she isn't at the top of her engineering class....

Lol, I should go off to do freebies for friends or something... Still need a style.

And yeah, with specific stuff like that, sure. But there are many jobs for engineers to do. ^^; You can be a project manager or be a consultant or, well, many other things. But to do specific work, yeah you do need to know.

He did, yeah, for two years I think. Or maybe one? He spent like three in the US, one year was for working for NASA, and the rest for Yale, I believe.
Tough to live up to him, if not impossible. 8D;;

Cornell sounds crazy but, well, my school here is like that too, sort of. It's not easy to get into but the best students get lots of Fs here. 8D;; Being at the top is close to impossible for most of us mortals. A lot of teachers just simply don't give out As. I know a teacher who, in four years of teaching, only gave 3 As total. x_X
