I love the smell of cleanliness. The smell of bleach after cleaning the bathroom or kitchen, the smell of a freshly vacuumed floor, and the scent of various other cleaning products.

Minty smells, fresh cinnamon rolls, or other baked goods are a quite delicious. Oooh. Fresh linens.

On the other hand I like the smell of various vehicle related smells. The smell of grease, break fluid, carburetor cleaner, etc. Also the smell of burning gas. Like when you turn the choke on a motorcycle. Also the smell of gunpowder.

Welp. I don't know. I found the wrapper for this soap. It does indeed say that "No. 6" and "exotic woods" on it, but it also has a prominant "16" on it. No. 16 in their line is this:

More "spiced" smells like cinnamon and clove, Dragon's blood, vanilla, baking bread, smoke (in moderation), gasoline, and petrichor. Kinda varied.

Bacon. /bowled over

The wood of a pencil tip just after it's been sharpened is a very nice smell. Wood in general is a wonderful smell, really. I remember in middle school there was a huge leak in the roof. After it was fixed, the hallway it was in smelled like damp wood for a long time. I loved it.

Does anyone else notice that packages have a smell about them when they first arrive? I suppose it's just the cardboard.

I'm not the only one who thinks gasoline smells good? Cool. XD

Ahh, my sense of smell is extra-sensitive so the good is wonderful and the bad is.. often intolerable. ><
Favorites, not in order:
Rain / fresh earth (springtime = )
Flowers (top faves being Hyacinth, Rose, Gardenia, Mimosa(!!!), and tomato plants and basil leaves.)
Freshly sawed wood
Freshly washed clothes
The smell of a summer bonfire
Chocolate (not so much milk chocolate though)
Curry..! Oh.. so many foods!
I have a cotton candy scented candle. It makes for happiness every time I happen to catch a whiff. :D

And everything Amane said above: yes!
So many good smells in this thread! Love!

Lilac is my favorite smell -- love coming across lilac bushes in the spring. As for food, cardamom puts me in a great mood. I know something yummy is coming, and usually sweet too.

I love flower scents, they always calm me.The crappy thing is my mom hates flower scents (we go to Yankee Candle constantly, and my mom burns a candle every day) but she loves bakery scents,so I never get to have my flower scents but at least I can smell bakery stuff all the time.My favorite Yankee Candle scent is Buttercream...I've loved it ever since I was little.

Lilac has always been one of my favorite scents. It makes me think back to my childhood. We had lilac in our back yard, and I used to pick the flowers and give them to my mom all the time. Roses and coffee are wonderful as well.

I also really like coconut, though I despise the taste. My favorite lotion was lime & coconut. (:

Though I must admit, there are a few men's colognes that just...Yes. They smell fabulous. I'd totally wear them just so I could smell myself all day long. (That sounds really weird, but I'm serious)

I love the smell of hardware stores. Wood and rubber and diesel fuel. I have great memories of my Dad and hardware stores so the small always makes me happy.

I like to open my canister of coffee in the morning and lift it to my nose for a deep smell of the aroma. I just love the smell of ground coffee; particularly in the morning or after dinner.
