Excuse my semi-slow responses, I'm in the jewelry shop trying on some shinies.

of course, if I also forget to take my meds I can't sleep either ... I have horrible insomnia and some of the meds I have to take can cause insomnia, so if I don't take my sleeping med it takes me FOREVER to fall asleep and then I am waking up like every hour or so.

oh, no worries. I love talking and so there is no real hurry. I'll just keep prattling on to myself. I always say that yeah, I talk to myself, because most of the time I'm the only one that is listening to me!

that's actually one of the coolest things about having a service animal. I'll be in the store and I'll start talking to myself about something and then I'll just go, "right, Charlie!" and folks think I was talking to the dog the whole time! :lol:

I'm like that almost every night unless I'm absolutely exhausted or have been drinking.

if I drink I don't sleep well. I refuse to take my meds when I drink ... and so I hardly ever drink. I can count on one hand how many times I drink each year.

I just really have to be in the mood to drink. I can't just drink whenever like my friends do.

my parents and brother were alcoholics and so I witnessed a lot of them uninhibited ... and I'm too much of a control freak to do that myself ...

Alcohol is the only thing that knocks me out. Even things like Tylenol PM only work like one night and then I'm back to normal.

the med I take for sleeping is actually used for bipolar people to help them stay on an even keel. I have another med I take for anxiety that is usually prescribed for people with seizures.

Yeah once I see my new doctor I'm going to have to talk to her about all of that especially because I'm starting to have panic attacks again.

oh my! and lack of sleep will really make those panic attacks worse!

I have some agoraphobia, so it's hard for me to go and do stuff ... like shopping and stuff like that out of the home. I can go to my friend's houses most of the time. but they have learned that if my drapes are closed, I am NOT going to be social that day, I just can't hack it.

Yup! On of my friends that I have know all my life is now Dr. I am so Proud of Him!!!! ^^ So we are gonna party it up nice and loud!!! ^^

That's definitely one hell of an accomplishment! :)

*nods* I know! That is why I am so flipping Proud. He has had a lot of crap happen to him and he pulled through everything and finished school. So I am excited and we are gonna get DRUNK! ^^ Well He will anyway. XD
