I think the only reason that people get the idea that Asians are better at maths is because we get advanced stuff shoved into our heads when the states doesn't do that. Like learning the times table in first grade, going to the states and am surprised that times table doesn't come until somewhere in second grade.

second? i learned it in like 4th grade ROFL!

...Wait, really? I don't really remember, I just know that I learned the times table too early.

(So of course when I got back, my maths grades immediately plummeted because I have no idea what's going on in class here )

i don't know. the education system here is quite fail.

i went to private school after grade school so i had "advanced" everything compared to public education.

Ugh I hate the education system here. It's a complete fail and the government keeps changing things.
