(This is a private Rp for Chibiruler1990 and VoltaireDomian so please do not post any or I will have to get a mod to delete your post.

And this is implied YAOI! YES YAOI! so if you do not like Yaoi. . . well your not even suppose to be in here so get over yourself.)

The streets where always crowded and yet it was somewhat quiet all the time. He walked around the alley's greeting people as they called his name. He had grown up in the alleys. Making friends with good and bad people.

He was always in dept trying to find some purpose in his life. It was ether trying to do imposable jobs for people or looking for items that weren't even there. He did it all.

He hated siting around waiting to have meaning in his life. With no one beside him life was an endless routine no matter how different his way of life was. It was on a casual day as any other that he decided it was time for a big change.

Miguel was going to leave his home and travel the world until he found what his heart begged for.

His legs ached from running, the ankles sore from jumping over rooftops and around obstacle. The market place was packed: neighbors' living practically in neighbors' laps. His body, graced with a natural lithe shaped, easily slipped between the merchants and fish wives that lined the dusty path. The low hollering of his assailant soon were drowned by the inane chatter of the market place. He stopped, moving quickly before dodging between a thin alley, knowing exactly where he was slithering. The city was his home, and no one, not some grubby merchant could capture him on *his* territory.

Tulio held the precious cargo to his chest; heart thrashing about beneath his ribcage in complaint of his exertion. It had been days since the raven-haired swindler had slept longer then a few mintues, his stomach was far more barren the any desert, and his back was swollen from the ten lashings of the guards. That day had not been a good day. Captured, again, for the act of theivery was never an impressive feat and yet despite the capture, public humiliation and abuse: Tulio still rose days later to steal again.

The young crook slipped past buildings, the shadier side of town coming into view: his home, the slums. Only lowlifes and those not wanting to be found dared to sleep in this part of town, and one would be amazed to find it was perhaps the safest place to be. There was a singular law in the slums: You do NOT start trouble, and you will not be troubled. Simple and perfect for the lowlifes and wrongdoers who resided there.

Tulio limped his way across paths, up stairs, and through broken windows until his feet settled upon the chipped mud floors of his own home. A nice place, cleaner then most and filled to the brim with stolen goods of rather poor value. He lined his home with only things of great importance: wine, gold, food, and an impressive collection of loaded dice.

Tulio had to make a living, didn't he?

Sitting down in the large mass of carpets, blankets and clothes that served as his massive "bed" Tulio unwrapped the objects that almost cost him another trip to the brig.

A loaf of bread, a golden ring, and bandages.

He winced, adrenaline dying down and causing the wounds on his back from the whip to scream out their discomfort. He'd find someone to bandage him later, or now he peeled off the already blood soaked shirt and nestled down into the warm cloths.

The smell of Barcelona and adventure cradling his mind until an exhausted sleep won his haggard form over.

Miguel wondered for days. . . years! searching for a meaning in his life. Along the way he met a lot of nice people and did some even more weird and fun things then at his old home but it wasn't what he yearned for.

He was now in the city of Barcelona and the town was big and promising. Miguel looked around and noticed the busy streets. He would every now and again see a thief fun from the cops and he would stop and stare but he continued about his day as if nothing was different.

He began to get bored easily and looked around for something to do. He noticed the thief wasn't out anymore and decided to go look for him even though he knew he wouldn't find him. He looked through windows. . . seeing things he had preferred he hadn't and on top of buildings and didn't find him.

He sighed with frustration and then smiled to himself. He would make this a game. He would find him eventually but in the mean time he could have some fun looking.

He then stopped from where he was going and tried to find an inn. He had money even though it was getting lower and lower by the day but he had no where else to go.

"Tulio?"

The sleeping thief grumbled and pulled the blanket higher over his face. His ears picked up the sound of morning, birds chirping and fellow thugs grumbling about their hangovers.

"Tulio?!"

"What?" He growled and peered out from beneath the layer of blanket. A pair of round dark eyes greeted him.

"Elsa?" He asked, sitting up from the nest of covers to see the younger girl better. "What are you doing here?" The girl was smiling nervously, as though something dark was on her mind, she crossed her legs and fiddled with the hem of her tattered red skirt. Elsa was the youngest daughter of the woman who, when Tulio was at his worst, practically saved him. Ever since Tulio made it his mission to keep her massive family as safe, even if it mean taking the blame to keep one of the young sons from the brig.

"Tulio there was a problem yesterday, Diego took your red dice and tried to bet against Flaco and..."

"What?!" Tulio gasped and felt a shiver of dread roll down his already injured spine. "Emilio is a cheater his self, I won't eve gamble with him, what was Diego thinking?"

"He wanted to be like you! But we couldn't pay what Emilio demanded! If we don't pay but tomorrow night they said they'll take it by force!" Thick tears bubbled in the girl's eyes and Tulio felt like striking a wall. This was not good, Emilio was a fool on his own but had dangerous friends.

"All right, tell me how much you need, don't worry I'll help." Between her sobs Tulio heard her whimpers of thanks, and knew it was nothing in comparison to what her mother did for him once.

Inns were the best place for crooks who needed money fast. No one suspected you so long as you were smart and Tulio was smart, his intelligence and speed was what had kept him alive after all. The Spanish guards where everywhere unfortunately that day, but this did not deter the swindler. He walked too casually through the crowd of guests and kept his wits about him, eying that around him to select the perfect room.

But nightfall his pockets were filled with rings and necklaces that none had noticed him take: he was good that way. All he needed was a few more things and he would be able to pay off Elsa's family debt and a decent meal for them all.

"That rat! I knew he was here!" The voice sent painful chills down his spine and Tulio turned to face the nearest window to see what was going on in the courtyard. A group of silver plated guards stood listening intently to a man Tulio knew *far* too well.

"Oh no," He said, watching the guards nod to one another as they were directed by the guard chief who'd smiled when Tulio was flogged and shackled not days ago. The man hated him, and the raven-haired thief couldn't fathom why. "Got to hide!" He decided and picked the nearest room, going with his inner voice, and quickly shut the door.

"All right now to find a wa....crap..." His plan making died when he realized he'd ducked into a room that was previously occupied by another male who Tulio didn't recognize. All Tulio noticed was that he seriously doubted that. if the man thought he was trying to rob him and started a fight, he would win.

Either face the guards or this blond guy, hm, inner voice please direct me!!!

"Hola!" He laughed nervously without meaning to, he noticed the large collection of bags on the floor which he assumed belonged to the blond male with the abnormally large green eyes. "You wouldn't mind helping out a fellow adventurer would you?"

{Did we ever figure out the ages, I'm seeing them as 17 ish, early enough?}

Miguel had just put the few things he had into his room and was looking out the window. Outside it wasn't as beautiful as it could have been because of all the guards and he sighed. Then out of no where the guards left their stations in a rush. He looked around outside to see if they would give anything out to their sudden change of attitude but there was nothing.

He gazed outside for a moment longer then thought it was a good time to take a bath. He had moved from the window and was about to take his shirt off when his door opened up with quiet ease. He looked his door and saw a man, about 17 or 18 looking rather frustrated.

He was sweating and he looked nervis. He started to speak to himself and turned from looking at the door to looking right at Miguel and his eyes grew slightly larger and his speaking stopped. He stood there for a moment then raised a hand high up to him.

"Hola" he said. Miguel raised an eyebrow at the mysterious man and was about to ask him his name when he said,

"You wouldn't mind helping out a fellow adventurer would you?" Miguel's eye shot up at that and he looked hopeful that his man was what he was looking for when it came to him wanting adventure in his life and smiled.

"The guards are after you I presume?" Miguel asked trying to act cool although it wasn't that good of a job. He sighed to himself and looked at the man again.

"Names Miguel! Whats yours?" He asked dropping the cool facade and smiling happily at the teen. He waited for his answer and noticed the boys appearance. He seemed like he didn't eat much and hadn't bathed in a while and his smile just grew bigger. He would help this man he decided. No matter what.

"Guards? After Me?" Tulio laughed slightly, rubbing his chin which had grown rather prickly as of late. Between jail, flogging, stealing, and running he'd had very little time to shave.

"Of course not! I'm an upstanding gentleman of society!" He turned around, locked the door and rushed to close the windows. "Can't you tell?" He grinned and moved to the bed, pouring the stolen goods onto the mattress.

"All right, I'll give you some of these things if you help me, deal, deal!" He spoke fast on purpose, hoping maybe the other wouldn't...wow this Miguel guy had really big green eyes...wouldn't come to his senses.

"I'm Tulio by the way, Tulio Intellect extraordinare`! He smirked. "And at the moment I'm plan-less and being chased as your astute mind has already discovered!" Both males jumped when a stampede of heavy footfalls paraded outside the door, Tulio shoved all his "treasures" into a small bag and tied it to his belt in case he drop it like when he was just starting off alone in life.

He noticed the blond male seemed almost excited, as though it were some game for a young child to escape the guards. "Alright I have a pl-"

The horrid sound of some woman calling to the guards, hollering out "He went in that room Senor! That one there!" Killed any sort of hope that he might have a chance to rest. The guards began to beat on the doors, the weak hinges giving way already. All logic told Tulio to run, just leave this Miguel guy on his own and run like there was no tomorrow!

The little voice in his head was ignored and Tulio snatched up Miguel's hand and rushed to the nearest window. "New Plan! Jump!" They busted through the screens and the moment their feet hit the tiled ceiling of the first floor they began to slide! The raven-haired thief held tight to the other's hand, assuming that if he hadn't Miguel might have fallen to a possible death or severe damage. They reached the end of their ride, jumped together off the roof in unison, and bolted!

Between the screams of the guards, the shrieks of guests and his heart pounding in his chest, Tulio heard Miguel's bubbling laughter beside him.

Miguel was a little shocked when this Tulio guy grabbed onto his arms and pushed him into the window but he didn't complain. This is what he wanted right? He looked over to Tulio and noticed the spark he had in his eyes that he always craved he would have. He then smiled at Tulio even though he wasn't looking and ran at the same pace as Tulio so he wasn't being dragged anymore.

They ran for a bit with the guards still on their tails and Miguel began to pant a bit.

"So this happens ofter then?" He asked in between breaths. He looked behind him and saw the guards fall a little behind and he began to laugh. He knew Tulio would ask what was funny but it wasn't so much that it was funny more then just fun.

He had stolen before but he got caught rarely. Always to help out his friends when they needed money in the old alleys where he was from. He looked around for a bit and noticed he was going into the unknown for him and began to get a little scared. Where was this Tulio taking him. . .

"Where are we going Tulio?!" He asked a little alarmed. He looked behind him again and noticed that even though the guards had fallen behind didn't mean they still weren't following them and he began to panic.

"You do know they are still behind us right?" He asked in a alarmed voice.
