I would like to be a pixel artist on menewsha. It has always been a dream of mine to be a pixel artist on an avatar site. It is actually the reason I got into Pixel art. I have been a pixel artist for six years now. I started when my friend from Roliana her birthday was coming up(as well as she was going in for surgery) So then I was determined to be a good pixel artist and ever since then I have been doing pixel art. It has been on and off though since when I first started off I was struggling through home schooling along with other kinds of drama. But since things Have settled down I have been improving on my art greatly. I do know I have lots to learn and I may not be as good as wishie is but the more practice I get the better I will get at my art.

While real money would be nice, I'm quite easy to please. A copy of the items I create or site currencies would tickle me silly, but praise and seeing the items worn is more than enough. <3

I don't really have anything to add other than my samples currently do not have any Mene-ish stuff. As soon as my new pen is in, though, I'm going to start creating Mene-like samples to add to my PB folder.

xuv, you've got some nice shapes going on there :yes: I like the little bottle especially. The shading is very different to Mene stuff, how many colours did you use in each palette? The highlights seem very bold in contrast to the next shade down.
Actually I am quite adaptable/flexible to various shading/pixel style. You just have to inform me which type of shading you prefer, I could try for it.
But if I am not mistaken, the shading style of my current one was similar to Mene's method (pixel gradient dot type...), I just contrast color too hiiiiiigh than mene's. More to personal preference and intention, because I am a sparkly fan XD. Besides, it was first proper pixel art done right after Gaia's soft shading style. (and I figure you do not want Gaia's sample for reference in my color choice. lol)... hmm... I have another one... this is not all that sparkly..except the animation part.
I am currently trying for Mene's style with several reference and see if I can match them. And color palette... DX I didn't keep record. If I am not mistaken, I kinda use cheat ways to help in reducing color, by converting RGB mode to index color.

I tried to do something silly, but I failed! :rofl: I blame my inability to distinguish the different shades of light-grey. *Feeds Lizard more cupcakes* <3 I must admit, I've been making pixel art for close to three... or four... years, and I'm still shaky at making different shades. Should it be three shades darker, or five? :lol: I'm so inconsistant at times.
