Math is my worst subject. I don't know how I made it to calculus, and I'm not going to question it because it's the last math class I have to take

I only had to go through college algebra for my degree, thankfully. I could have gone on to do more advanced stuff, but why would I want to? DX

I took college algebra last semester. Almost killed me. My teacher was horrible
Over half the class dropped, and the other half was on the brink of failing. I made it out with a B, which I was extremely happy with.

I was happy with my B+ as well. But I had a good teacher. She was really nice and helped me a lot!

I just got done with five hours straight of math.

Then I walk into this thread.

I wish mine was like yours. My teacher's idea of "teaching" was having us copy stuff down. She didn't explain it or anything, and when she did, she actually got the problem wrong. I had to spend all my free time in the tutoring lab just to pass

I'm tempted to break out my old mad posting habits.

But I also have midterms. Which explains the 5 hour study sess.

I had two midterms last week, and one this coming week

I have never had to go to tutoring, though I think that has more to do with my own pride than it does with needing help. Because there were times in some of my classes that I definitely should have gone for help but didn't. Hindsight I guess.

I don't mind asking for help so as long as it isn't a pain in the ass to get help.

The sad thing about getting tutoring for me, is that I passed by the tutoring center (which was a giant room right at the entrance of my freshman dorm) every single time I entered or left the building. All I had to do was go downstairs or stop in on my way back from class. Never once did I go in for help.

Last semester, I never went because it was never convenient for me to go. But this semester, I have a few hours between classes on some days, so I can go.

If I have time between classes, I go home and take a nap xD

Its one of those time slots that its to short to go home but too long to just sit nad wait. :c.

Gotcha. I always get stuck with classes that are several hours apart. Last semester I had three classes a day, MWF, and there were four hour gaps between all three of them. It was terrible!

But at least you got to go home between?

During my first break I would come home and nap, and then during my second break I would come home and go swimming or watch a movie or something. It was nice.
