Power beyond what is imaginable…
Can such a thing be attainable?
Is it even possible?…

I have seen many unusual and strange things in a life time alone.

No one knows how it happened or even how it began but something happened later in the half of the twentieth century mankind started to evolve. People who from around the world would discover that they have extraordinary power would begin to surface with ever increasing frequency. These people are known only by the tell-tale tattoo upon their body and the supernatural abilities they call their own. The higher up these markings are the more of an indication of just how powerful the individual truly is.

The Governments of the world soon came to the need for a way to contain these powerful individuals. Over many hours of debate, in the end most of the nations came around to the same conclusion: They needed to take back control. So in 2005, The United States Government created ‘The Division’. It’s mission is simple: To locate and apprehend these highly super-powered individuals through out America.

The Division had a secret goal in mind once they caught these Meta-humans, which was to: Train them and to use them to further so called American interests around the world. For those who resisted the huge building would become their prison. For those who actually chose to stay it became a haven for them. A place where they could just be themselves and to surround themselves with others just like them. Though in truth they don’t really have any choice in the matter. The only option their Government gave them was one: Either come willingly or suffer the consequences.

The Division forcefully removed children from their families as soon as the child began to develop their abilities and were to be raised by the agents of Division. Mean while the adults were basically drafted into service.

No one could leave.
No one could question anything that happened within.
To do so would be answered with dire consequences.

The Division’s greatest dream worked. Those with extraordinary powers were a great asset to them and to the Government. By 2014 They had taken charge of themselves and soon they lived and worked as a family. Everyone wants a place to belong and Division exploits that need for their own personal goals.

On Wednesday August 20th, 2014

The Meta-humans began to resent being forced to work for the Government and Division. They didn’t want to just leave their families behind and in no way did they like Division using them as leverage. So a few others who felt the same way soon began to stage a plan that would break them free from this hellhole. With secret messages being sent to outside sources the plan was made. Amid the chaos of the seven flash bombs set around the building; which was only meant to be as a diversion. They ran away. Many were able to escape and as soon as they were out they started to disappear right into the wood work. These escapees and their families would try to make it on their own while hiding from the Division agents bent on tracking them to bring them back.

Thursday November 13th, 2014

A group known as the Marked is formed. Their Mission: To take down Division.
Like Division they are trying to recruit others for their cause, but in a more peaceful way. The Marked’s greatest assets are those who have yet to be identified Metas, who are living with powers all over the country.

The Metas are all targets. A war is about to begin. On one side, Division. On the other, All those who oppose them. Many innocent people are bound to get dragged into this ever raging conflict. No one knows how it will end. But one thing is for sure. Nothing will ever be the same after it’s all over.

The Rules To Live By:

001. I like many others, prefer that players be literate.
002. I ask that you post three or five paragraphs minimum.
003. Of course you must follow Menewsha ToS.
004. As for the post frequency, I will expect you to post whenever you have
time to do so, and I will be sure to do the same.
005. No God-Modding anything.
006. Don’t be afraid to get creative.
007. Romance is encouraged. But remember time skip is your friend.
008. Send all profiles to me with the group you would like to be aligned with
in the subject.
009. Please keep in mind we can‘t have a lot of super powered people running about.
010. Remember have fun. Keep your mind wide open for new and exciting possibilities.
011. Keep the Rp flowing for if not, you will be removed from the Rp.

It is possible that more will be added to this short list should the need arise.
