I'm going to meet with my professor tomorrow. I'm nervous...I think I only have fifteen minutes...but...I don't know how to start off talking. >_>;;

All semester I honestly wanted to talk to him. He said some things in lectures that really...I dunno, it was a slap in the face.

The class is sociology of health and illness. In one lecture, he was talking about hopelessness. And he read out some questions from a test to see how high you are on hopelessness. And surprise, I said yes to everything. >_>; I just don't see myself as amounting to anything or reaching my fullest potential. And he went on to talk about what he does in the university (he's an associate dean) and what the university offer and how it tries to change that way of thinking.

Well, I sat back and was like...well goodness. With all the services and opportunities they offer...I mean, I do have an opportunity that others don't. I just didn't...utilize them, because I didn't know about them or I was too scared of failure. I always think that anything I bother trying to do, I'll bomb at and look like a fool. xD

The other thing was about how much his class infuriates me. xD Not him! Just the material we're learning. It just riles me up to think about the inequality in this country involving health care. Just can't...sit still listening how so many lives can be saved by simple procedures. But they're turned away because they lack insurance. It's making me upset also because in my medical ethics class, we go on and on about how DOCTORS ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP PEOPLE. :DDD

Bah. xD
