Halloween is my favorite holiday. I mean, Christmas doesn't count because you get presents lol. But yeah! I remember when I was younger my birthday started the 13 days of Halloween on Fox Family.

I like Halloween best myself.
I actually rather dislike X-mas... as i'm not religious and see no point in celebrating such a holiday. But I do get my son gifts, even if I don't believe in the meaning behind that holiday.

thats ok you dont have to be religous to enjoy christmas just think of it as a gift giving holiday.

That's how i've come to look at X-mas. Just a holiday to spend with family, giving a few gifts to make them happy.

And Halloween is just awesome. The parties and costumes! Yum and Fun! <3

I'm so happy! I just heard the event is extended until Sunday! Yeah, I haven't been paying a lot of attention. I'm looking forward to the next event too. I'm still relatively new to Menewsha. Do they have events on all the holidays, like Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and all that?

@Sassy: I'm new here too. You could kind of say I joined just before this event. Although I had such a good time that I will definitly continue to come to this website because of it :3

@ ClariusFlorina: I've had so much fun! I usually spend all my time on Gaia, but since this event, I've really gotten hooked on Menewsha. I can't believe how cool all the people are here. I've been here since August of last year, and I haven't met a single jerk.

@sassy: Well, this isn't insanely crowded though. I'll be sad if it gets too many users. Then this place MIGHT lose its spark :[

Every now and then, when the Tektek ads get noticed, they seem to get a tsunami of new users. The ones that stay are the ones who understand the rules around here and how it keeps the place wonderful!

It's not the amount of the users, but the quality. People are just weary that Menewsha's community feel will be lost if the site caters to a more general-based formal audience.

I think they're right. Once you start catering to the masses, things can go downhill but quick. I like the fact that people here actually care about what they have and work to keep it this way.

I think there won't be too many problems with the new people.
The mods here are wonderful, and (usually) patiently explain the rules.
Once the new ones get the idea that this isn't another Gaia, they will either leave, or they will learn to love it and stay.

Yeah, that was what I was telling my brother earlier wen I was talking about this event. The ones that don't get it, or don't understand anyplace that doesn't let you bump or other things like that are the ones that won't stay. The ones that 'get' the rules are different here will likely stay and enjoy themselves. ^_^

Hello dovies. What's going on in here? Does anyone know why we're still able to collect stars and whatnot? I thought the event was going to be over? Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I'm very glad for any extension. I'm just surprised, I suppose. I hope everyone is making good use of this extra time.
