yas! I'm settled into my Adult Life™ and I have a few precious hours to set aside for doing jack-nothing --tetris-- I mean, uh, mene seemed like a perfect option to fill that time.

BUT ADULTING IS FUN!

I realized on christmas eve that *I* was the one responsible for restraining myself when I wanted to open my gifts early. I cannot handle that responsibility lol

No, my obviously-more-adult boyfriend was over and stopped me .. I did open a card my mom sent me though. >v> INDULGENCE WITH RESTRAINT, something something MODERATION!

It's okay, I appreciated it. I got pretty sloshed on christmas eve and wouldn't have fully appreciated all the wonderful gifts I got.

My grandma sent me a potato masher, my mom a cookbook and a pyrex measuring glass -- each handed down from the generation before them. ;-; I wanted to cry lol

Haha. I like waiting until the day to open things 'cause it feels more special that way.

I have a couple cat figurines at this point, starting to feel like an even creepier version of the cat lady..

my collections grow slowly as people give me things XD I suppose my interests are limited enough to receive cat statuettes three years in a row ... lmao.

I feel bad about missing a few days, but I'll hand-make something tomorrow again to make up for it .. if I can. I won't promise that just in case the category is something crazy. O_O;

I feel a little wasteful making all this food for a contest, but I'm not making full recipes.. I made four gyoza and I'm making 1 pancake xD

my dream has been for a long time to have a kitchen to make food in whenever I wanted, and now I can!! so, no guilt, only happiness at having my dreams come TRUEE~~

Plus you can always eat the food afterwards! :D
