----------

All was quiet but then again what would you expect from a house where everyone was asleep? This was going to be as easy as..pie? Err..cake what ever the saying was it was going to be extremely easy! What kid wouldn't want to fly away to a place where there were no parents, where there were no rules and just lots of fun? Of course they wouldn't know the real reason until later. Chuckling to himself Peter Pan glided closer to the house casting a furtive glance downwards. One dog and it was out for the count. They were really trying to make his job easy. Chuckling softly he paused near a window that was partially open and pushed upwards. In and out just like that. The easiest trick in the book.

Peter smirked softly as he slipped into the house and looked around the room his smug grin growing wider as he noticed the two lumps asleep in their beds. He looked around the room and smiled widely. Boys! Two healthy boys. They'd be eager to fight no questions asked. He shook his head softly to bring himself back to job only to let out a soft grunt as his slim body hit the ceiling with a soft thump. Or at least it should have been soft but in the quiet house it seemed much too loud. He tensed softly looking back towards the open window before looking towards the door. Slowly...the knob turned.

Wendy started slightly in her bed her brown eyes snapping open. A thud...Surely they weren't still awake. She sighed softly and quietly pulled herself out of her warm comfy bed and tiptoed across her room to gently pull open her door before creeping next door. Gently she clasped the cool door knob her hand and twisted before pushing it open.

Frowning she looked at the two lumps in her brothers beds. They were asleep? But she could've sworn she'd heard something. Slowly her eyes moved up towards the ceiling uncertainly taking in the dark shadows gathered there. She wasn't a fan of the dark even at her age but really there was nothing up there-wait! Something had just moved. She bit back a squeak and moved back wards. "H-hello?" she whispered softly.

Peter paused and cursed softly under his breath. So much for getting in and out. She'd seen him. Sure he could try and charm the pants off of her but he had better things to do than deal with some silly girl.He didn't bother answering her as he swooped down from the ceiling to roughly scoop her up. Automatically he clamped one hand over her mouth. "Not one peep. If I hear one sound from you.." he paused narrowing his eyes dangerously. He didn't have a clue what he'd do but right now he just needed her to be quiet. She was a girl and like most girls she was bound to have an over active imagination. He'd let her think what ever she wanted just as long as she stayed quiet.

Wendy bit back a scream as a boy swooped down from the ceiling and roughly grabbed her. At first she was frightened....but then she was curious. He didn't look much older than her! What was he doing in her brothers room..and he was flying. Just how in heavens name was he pulling that off? She stared at him with wide eyes and gently nodded to show she understood. She didn't have a clue what he'd do but if that cool gaze meant anything it showed she didn't want to know.

Peter looked down at her his brow furrowed in a soft frown. Now he could leave her and take the boys..or he could take her and send someone back for the other two. She could come in handy....or not. If she didn't then he knew what do with her. "You're coming with me. I'm going to move my hand..but I want you to stay nice and quiet. Ok?" Seeing her nod he removed his hand and wiped it across the green tunic he was wearing. He looked back at her before motioning to Tinkerbell. "Alright Tink. Dust her." he ordered. There was a soft tinkle before Wendy was covered in a hefty amount of gold dust.

Wendy blinked her nose twitching softly. She turned her trying not to breath in the dust driftng around her but failed. She let out several soft sneezes before she regained control. She smiled apologetically at the boy in front of her. She was going with him? Where? "What makes you think I want to go with you?" she asked softly. And it was true. He was a strange boy. He wasn't nice..but he certainly wasn't mean. At least not as mean as he tried to make himself look.

Peter looked at her and rolled his eyes. So much for her staying quiet. He looked down at her hand and grimaced before he grabbed it and jerked her forward towards the open window. "I don't remember giving you an option. You're coming with me. Where? I don't see how that can matter." he answered as he drifted towards the window. He smirked softly seeing the drop down. He drifted out still jerking her along behind him.

Wendy gulped as he pulled her towards the window. He might be able to fly..but she couldn't. She pulled backwards but her slight weight did nothing to stop him. She frantically grabbed at the side of the window with hand while shaking her head. "No. Look I won't tell if thats what you're afraid. As far as I know this is all one weird dre-" she was cut off as she lost her grip and fell forward.

Out the window. For one moment time stood still and she was looking dow. Waaay down to the ground where her dog was stirring but not waking and then she dropped down..only to jerk up sharply. She gasped her gaze jerking up to see the amused boy laughing as he obviously got her jollies out of her fright.

Peter had to give her some credit. She didn't start screaming as soon as she fell. Heck she didn't evem start screaming as she dropped just the slightest. He laughed boldly seeing her fright. "Did you have a nice fall?" he taunted as he drifted past her. When she'd started to drop he'd grabbed a hold of her but now..now Tink's dust was working it usual magic causing the girl to float lazily below him. "I'm Peter. Now that we've got introductions over with we're leaving." he said casually drawing his dagger from the sheath. He'd almost forgotten about it until now. he smirked as he tilted it slightly causing the moon to catch in just the right way so that the dagger gave a dangerous glint as he pointed in the direction they were going. "That way." he order before moving behind her and giving her a rough push.

Wendy was speechless as she stared at the small dagger he'd produced. Now he started threatening her with weapons. She nodded softly and let out a soft yelp when he gave her a rough shove. She floundered about at first unable to figure out how to do little more than drift at first. But eventually she figured out how to move faster. She still wasn't sure this was real. This had to be a dream. She'd read and told her share of stories..but she'd never been a character in any of them..and now...well this wasn't happening. Was it?

{sorry it took so long, sis was hogging the computer -_-}

"Cap'n! Cap'n" A man ran into the room, shouting into the many piles of charts and books. As he did so, he somehow managed to knock over the biggest pile in the room. "What is it, Smee?!" A voice yelled back, and Smee froze in his tracks. He has his father's voice...he thought, his knees shaking. A figure rose from the sea of charts. He had sharp eyes as blue as the ocean, a triquarter hat placed awkwardly on his head, a bright red coat with gold buttons and a cutlass at his side. Though he was half Smee's age, he still demanded authority. "Well?" He snapped, annoyed that Smee had woken him from his nap. "Cap'n Hook, sir, we've spotted him." At this, the captain's eyes widened. "We mustn't waste time, Smee!" he said, walking out of his cabin and dragging Smee along with him.

Captain James Hook the second raised his scope to the skies. "Yes...we have you now." He said, smiling at the sight of a bright green figure. But his smile faded. "Smee! He has a hostage, prepare the net!" James yelled over his shoulder. "Battle stations." his voice boomed, and every crewman on deck scrambled to their positions. "Ready cannons!...Aim!....FIRE!!!" Jame's voice was lost in the booms of the cannons. Great black orbs rose into the air. In an effort to doge the cannon balls, the bright green figure in the sky swerved left and right, flinging his hostage into empty air. "Fire the net, Smee!" James yelled, and in response a great cannon sitting on the deck with Smee at the controls boomed, releasing a shell connected to the cannon by a long tether. The shell exploded right before it reached the hostage, releasing a large net. The net enclosed around the girl. "Alright, reel her in!" Hook yelled. Smee pulled a large lever, activating unseen motors that tugged at the rope. The green figure in the sky tried to get at the net, but more cannon balls warded him off. "We've got them, Smee... we've got 'em..."
"Hey, wake up" Captain Hook said, bent over the unconscious girl in the net. "Oi, you ok?"

Impossible. This wasn't real. This couldn't be real. Wendy had been telling herself this the whole time she'd been following Peter. She shouldn't be flying. She shouldn't be with some strange boy. She shouldn't be here...and yet at the same she felt..excited. Amazed.Curious. Adventurous! Forget about following Peter. He didn't seem as scary now. He was just..intimidating. After that first terrifying glimpse of his dagger he'd kept it stowed away in its sheath. So obviously he had no intent of using it. Right?

She shook her head softly causing her brown locks to fall in her face once again. With a soft huff of annoyance she swept them back and turned her thoughts back to the view below her. What was that? Her eyes widened as she noticed the huge ship. For a moment she stopped just hovering. This was too much. She'd been kidnapped more or less and now she was-BOOM! She let out a scream as she was flung into empty air. During the last leg of their journey she'd been steadily drifting lower and lower until eventually she'd ended up being towed along but that wasn't the case now. She was falling and it didn't look like her captor was going to catch her again.

Boom! There was another resounding blast before she fainted. After it was..dark. Was this the end of her dream? Her wonderfully, albeit weird, dream? The thought that it was over saddened her. How was she to know what was going to happen? How was she going to finish the tale? Would she leave her brothers hanging or would she just cleverly add on to it?

'Hey, wake up..'

Wendy groaned and squirmed softly before slowly opening her eyes until she stared up at the stranger in front of her. Slowly she took in the detail. About the same age as Peter, clad in red.. Her eyes zeroed in on the cutlass attached to his hip before she snapped out of her lethargic observation thrashing about in the already tangled net. Why her!? How was it possible for her to get kidnapped not once but twice in one night? "No! I'm not alright!I'm tangled up like the bloody catch of the day! And on top of that I've been kidnapped not once but twice in the same night! Now you tell me-would you be ok?" she demanded as she finally ceased her thrashing to glare upwards at her newest captor.

Peter ducked. he weaved, he bobbed. He did everything he could think of to save his own skin after ditching his victim. It wasn't that he didn't like her-well ok that was exactly it. The whole journey she'd done little but follow him compliantly. She hadn't ranted. She hadn't raved. She'd done nothing and while he admired her earlier feat of bravery..well that was really all she had going for her. His shot upwards as the last resounding blast echoed after him. He hovered high up in the cover of the clouds before he zoomed down shaking his fist angrily in Hooks direction. "Blast you Hook! This isn't over!" he spat angrily. And it wasn't. It was just the beginning.

In response to Peter's shout, another cannonball boomed right after him.
"Oi, we're not kidnapping you, we're rescuing you. That is unless you want to become a bloomin' soldier." Hook drew his cutlass. He examined the blade for a second, then cut the net open. "Here." He said, offering his free hand. "I'm Captain James Hook the second, son of Captain James Hook the first. That was Peter Pan, the scum of the earth. Now, who are you?"

Wendy raise done eyebrow softly in response to his reply. Well some rescue this was. She opened her mouth to point that out to her supposed savior but that was when she noticed the cutlass arching gracefully through the air and down towards the net. She let out a yelp and surged backwards helping by pulling the netting taught. And then she was free. She stared at his offered hand before she took it and pulled herself up. Once she was standing she hurriedly stepped away from him her hands clasped tightly in front of her. "Wendy Darling." she answered promptly.

Under normal circumstances she would have been just a tad bit nicer but things weren't exactly normal. And yet she'd yet to figure out if she was dreaming or not! Just how was she supposed to know-oh! Her eyes brightened slightly as she unclasped her hands and pinched herself on the arm hard enough to leave a small mark. During this simple process she'd had her eyes clamped shut and once she'd finished it she slowly allowed them to open. Nope. She was in the same place. With the sane...ummm charming company. "I'm not dreaming.." she mumbled numbly.

James gave a hearty laugh. "Of course you aren't dreaming, you'd be in a mental institution if you dreamed this." He was about to crack another joke when a shudder ran through the ship. "Cap'n Hook, Sir!" Smee ran up behind him. "We must pull back, the portal's closing!" James did not hesitate. "All hands to positions! We're going home, boys!" He yelled, waiving his cutlass in the air. "You need to come with me." He said, offering her his hand again. "We waited too long, it's going to get dangerous."

Wendy stared up at him with an expression of astonishment which was quickly replaced by anger. How dare he! Had some gall saying that! One of her friends had a relative who was in the mental institution-it wasn't a laughing matter! She'd just opened her mouth to give him a piece of her mind before she let out a soft squeak as the ship shuddered under her. She stared up at Jame's and the man talking to him. Her brow knitted in confusion before an expression of panic flickered across her face.

Home? He wasn't taking her home because if she guessed right..that portal that had just closed? That was her only way home. And it was closing. Weakly she clasped his hand and pulled herself up before promptly letting go of his hand and looking back in the direction of the portal. Home. Oh how was she going to get back?

She stared at the portal longingly for a few moments before suddenly it all became clear, She was free. She didn't have to keep her thoughts in order. She didn't have to worry about keeping her head out of the clouds. She continued to stare at the portal for a few moments before she looked away. They hadn't said the portal was closing permanently. Which meant she could go home...if she so desired. And at the moment..she didn't want to. Now that shed gotten past her initial fear of the people in front of her she was now curious. James didn't seem like her first kidnapper if the evening.
