Notes: When I think "steampunk" I think gears. I happen to have a pocket watch with visible gears on the backside so I took a closeup to make it look more industrial-sized. Hope the proof is clear enough, but if not I can take another.

I took a bunch of flower pictures today too, but I haven't decided yet which one(s) to use.

I'm jealous Cherry. I want 60 and rainy! It's supposed to be in the low-80s today here. Which, while not bad, just means that summer will be here in like a week. Literally, we'll be in the 90s tomorrow (Saturday) and it probably won't drop down again anymore until late September or early October. Just up, up, up!

Seiki - Today it was so cold I needed a coat.

I want a coat. I don't even own a coat. The thickest thing I have is a hoodie.

My coat is a puffy black bomber coat with a faux fur trimmed hood. I got it on clearance a few months ago. I it.

In AZ, yes. In Phoenix, not so much. We might get down into the mid-low 60s in the winter, with nights in the 30s, but never cold enough for anything heavy. A hoodie is usually fine, though people act like they're living in the tundra come wintertime. I usually don't even get to a hoodie. Jeans and tshirt kind of guy myself. Maybe a thermal if I'm feeling a bit chilly. But I like the cold. I think it's extremely comfortable, what with being used to the 110 degree temperatures for a good half the year, and then really warm fall and spring times.

Notes: Took some pics of the cherry trees at the shrine near my apartment. The petals were already falling so they'll probably all be gone in a day or two. I adjusted the colors to give them some more umph (I took them after work, so it was already nearly dark) and rotated the pic, which is why the proof doesn't match the same angle. Hope that's okay!

The cluster of flowers in front of the bend of the tree is identifiable as the same in both pictures, so the proof is okay.

Seiki - Yeah, I bet the cold is refreshing! I can't stand the heat - anything over 75 and I start complaining. The desert is definitely not for me! I'm thinking of relocating to Washington or Oregon some day... Nice and wet and cold.

I would love to live in Seattle. Portland isn't my favorite, but it's nice there too.
