Currently, the boob... is... casting a shadow on the belt!!! O_O
and the belt kind of look like slip under the boob...

@Xurette- I am getting that a bit now. Once I finish this dithering I will work on the belt a bit.

@MAria- does this look a bit better?

oh yeah, Maria you can go through fabric type with Corara too.
I think she could use some help on that topic.

Alrighty Cora - work on the belt/bewbies and I'll mention fabric type to you :)

PS - do the same thing to the gold lineart you did to the blue - shade the lines :D Sorry - don't mean to throw stuff at you!

@Maria- Don't be sorry. Really, you've helped me a lot. I've learned a lot today ^.^

Is this better on the belt?

---------- Post added 06-15-2012 at 11:25 PM ----------

EDIT: I don't like that shading on the avi's left boob, I am currently working on that.

@Xuvvie - *clings to the teacher* Thank you for your wisdom and skills *wipes tears*

@Cora - The belt shading is better - you can even add just a touch of the third lightest if you wanted...just one or two pixels of it.
I'm glad you are learning and hopefully having fun! all the hard work pays off when you see people wearing your stuff :D

I'll see what you are doing with the boobs and then comment on the boobs - but here is a tip - try using less of the darkest color there....it's darkening it and I think that's what xuvvie meant when she said it looks like it was super clingy to the boobs...although I'm not Xuvvie so she can clarify for you XD

uhmm, now the belt is at its right place.
But belt don't go straight just like that. It curves.

I just notice I never mention it.
but I prefer the sleeve version.

I plan to try different types of sleeves with it again once I get the body down.

A bit of a curve on the belt. Curve towards the top or towards the bottom?

better on the belt?

I was wanting to say bottom... but hey... going up is a rather unique design too!
I mean, when I said bottom, it is because, the belt is ALWAYS bottom curve... now that you try the curve up option, I think it is not bad! design wise.
Currently I felt that the curve is a bit staggered and sharp. But I am NOT SURE whether it is better smoothen it or remain this stagger design.

Corara, do you think it is getting better?
which belt you prefer? original straight, curve up or mene belt curve down?

I actually kind of like the way the curve looks at the moment. I tried to curve it down and it just looked........terrible lols. Then I settled with up xP

Well, nothing beats it if you like the way your item looks.

Mariaria should go through fabric type before commenting on shading. XD

One thing. Do you have a reference to look at?
as in a sample clothing in real life or picture?
I highly suggest you find one and study the folds and fabric.

I never thought to do that, I should look up something that would be similar.

Sleeve Options:

Or I could go with the sleeveless:

My Current thoughts:
I'm not really liking the full sleeve one, but I do like the other three options for this shirt. I think that I am favoring the off the shoulder one just a bit though.

Its not really. But I'm an insomniac.....who's sleep pattern is so screwed up.

I'll go like 5 days without sleep and then suddenly get so tired I just crash....and it doesn't matter where.
