Loner arrived at the park just after Brea. He smiled softly when he saw her and walked over.

"Hey, nice to see ya." Brea said smiling as she saw him and leaning in to give him a kiss. She was trying not to wince and worry him.

Loner kissed her softly back, cradling her head in his right hand. He tried not to move his left arm much so that she wouldn't notice it was hurt and worry.

Brea enjoyed the hand on her head and when they broke apart she rested her forehead on his.

Loner closed his eyes lightly and moved a little closer to Brea.

Brea did likewise and stood hust enjoying his presence. "Do you want to go to the top of the playscape or stay here?" She asked quietly after a while.

'Let's go up top,' Loner said, also quiet. 'We'll be able to see the stars more easily there.'

"Alright, so do you want to climb up first or should I?" Brea asked wanting a few more moments before it became obvious she was hurt.

'You go first,' Loner said. He could take a moment to adjust his arm so that it wouldn't be obvious he'd hurt it.

Brea sighed and moved to the playscape. As soon as she began to climb she flinched and grimaced.

Loner narrowed his eyes slightly when he saw Brea wince. Once she was done, he jumped up, and knelt down beside her. 'Where are you hurt?'

Brea sighed and sat back. "A better question is where doesn't hurt."

Loner ran a hand through Brea's hair. He kissed her forehead gently.

Brea closed her eyes and relaxed as he kissed her. "Thanks, I'll be okay. I'm just bruised up."

'That's good,' Loner said. He adjusted his left arm and winced.

Brea noticed Loner wince and how gingerly he was treating his arm. "You're hurt too aren't you?"

'Not badly,' Loner said hurriedly and slightly grudgingly. 'Probably just a pulled muscle or a sprain or so.'

Brea leaned over and kissed him. "We make quite the pair don't we? Even when it comes to this."

Loner ran his fingers through Brea's hair. 'We are, aren't we?'

Brea smiled feeling comforted. "It's nice not being alone for this. Having someone I can talk to."

Loner nodded. 'Nobody else understands it.'

"That's true. I hope no one else has to understand. I wouldn't wish it on an enemy. I can't wait to get away from it." Brea said getting closer slowly as notto hurt herself or him.

Loner nodded, wrapping his good arm around her waist. 'It's harder to do than everybody thinks.'

Brea rested her head on his good shoulder and leaned against him. "Dave told my stepdad about you. Granted they both added their own twists to our relationship."

'It won't matter,' Loner said, kissing Brea's forehead. 'Dave, at least, won't be able to do much.'
