Those people like me, who lurk more than post also have a chance to get the goodies. I do tend to post more during an event, but really so does everyone, and now I get to read so many more posts, and not miss anything. Thanks guys, this is the most fun I have had on a forum site. Of course I am new to forums, but still. This is way better than the other event I have seen on other sites.

The events on Mene are very enjoyable. I would lurk a lot when I first joined as well, but posted a lot during my first event.

I love events mostly because I also find it much easier to post =] Seriously, comparing to my normal activity in the forums, I'm super active. Breaking lurking habits - even if only for short period of time - is great! x3

I like events that encourage people to talk, because I'm usually one of those people. xD Normally I just lurk on this site.

I love that I'm racking up on my gold earn big time, what with constantly posting because of the event. But what I like most about this, is that I don't have to spent one gold on anything. This was smart thinking on the part of the developers, because really, there ought always to be a way to purchase things differently, I believe. And so there is, and I very much appreciate not having to worry about money which I desperately need more of if I'm to go shopping!

I wonder how long I can hold out not having ever spent a gold since I joined.. hopefully all the way up through 5K :squee:

One more thing! I just made another friend because of this Event. Thank God for that; I have friends here, but not on Roli or Ava, and that bites. But here, I find everyone to be just the sweetest things.

Ooh, lurking is most joyous! I'd post more but it seems there are nothing but hang-out threads and I don't really wanna jump in on a conversation. , _ , That would make me feel rude. ANYWAY! I love how the orchids and the blossoms are located in different areas than just the event forum. That gives me a chance to wander out of here to post in the GD and still maybe get lucky. ;D

I love that during events I have the opportunity to just jump into conversations and get to know a lot of users. It's fun and silly, and I always have a great time.

I'm only lurking a lot because I haven't been on Mene in foreverrrr. And it happens to be that the one time I log back in, it's during an event. xD Which is nice, it's a really simple event so I'm not going "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" Ahhh, yeah. It's pretty sweet.

i tend to lurk a lot as well...i only have 8 buds so far but i have been able to get the first of the orchid items already. <3 i think i will lurk less once i have something to wear....i don't feel very comfortable in just my undies...

I've always liked that about the events that I've seen on here, too. <3 I can get orchids/candy/snowflakes/whatnot from looking over the awesome items in the shop..... Looking at threads even when I don't have something to say.... It's a great way of doing it.
