So...I've been on Mene a fairly long time but really haven't made any "friends". Since that's sorta the theme of a lot of events, I've decided to make a thread to see what everyone out there is like!
I'm on almost every day and just lurk, so it's time to reach out and talk. ;3
I'm a college student, about to graduate. =O
I have a collection of over 300 manga, and growing.
I love stuffed animals. .___.
I'm old, I'm 22.
I like overcast days. ;3
And I love anything that has to do with Japanese culture.
So, here is some about me. Post about yourself!

You sound... scarily similar to me.
*also 22, recently graduated, loves manga, looooves plushies*
I also totally love Japanese culture, especially the food and fashion!
So how is the event going for you? Clearly well. I see you have the coveted wings.

Hello! I'm trying to make new friends during this event too. I don't get out in the forums enough on the regular, and I felt like it was high time I got to meet some of the new people around here. XD
What are your favorite manga series'? I don't read much manga myself, but I used to see quite a bit of anime, and my bf really loves reading a couple of series on the net.
I like overcast days too. ;) And rainy ones.
And I'm totally older than you. XD What kind of degree are you getting? Congrats! Do you have a 'real job' lined up yet? Or are you going to get to relax for a bit?

Hello n_n I've noticed as well that even though I've been here more then a year I don't have many friends....maybe a handful.
My name is Christina. I'm 24 years old. I'm currently living in France just 6 miles out from the Eiffel Tower.
Nice to meet you :3

Wow, that was a fast response!
@Aoi - it's nice to meet you too, your outfit is so pretty. o-o
@Sakura - Likewise. ;3
@ox3tyi - I love them. o-o;
@Fiarra - We have a lot in common, don't we? ^^
@Sizzla - My favorite manga series has to be Chobits, it's just so wonderfully drawn and it's creative. CLAMP always does fantastic mangas. So I'd have to say, anything by CLAMP I'll be infatuated with.

@Zukin; so, what sort of anime/manga do you like? I'm a big fan of One Piece, but I tend to read more American comic books. Marvel are my favouites by far >w<
But I still read some manga and I'm always looking for good ones to try :p

yes it has it's moments of beauty but every place does really. It's not all the tourist spots like the postcards show. n_n But it's my first time living outside the US so that's something in itself.

Chobits was one of the first animes that I watched. I think Lain was first, followed by Chobits. It was a pretty good series. I should watch it again. :D

The anime is pretty cute, it follows -fairly- close to the book.
Not exactly, but it's not as bad as some animes I've seen.
My first anime was Card Captor Sakura. ;3
