Jahero was thinking hard about a way to kill the fence. he got and idea " what if we find the sofe spot? where there isnt as much power to the fence and then we will keep at it until it shorts out?" jahero spoke out loud

"Do you mean like.... electricute ourselves?" Tallia asked concerned about the suggestion Jahero had made. It had caused her to compleatly forget about what Hunter had said.

Hunter put his head down."that sounds painful.but I'll do it if it helps Rayne." He said bravely.

Gemini thought about it."explain what you mean, Jahero.I think it might work, if we do it right." She said.

" Ive seen it done before. In nome, there where fences placed around are home camp to help keep te bears out, but some how they where able to still come inside. When our team took a look at the fence the bears had found a weak spot in the electric current and broke through the fence. my point is that we can do the same thing. Will take a branch and test each spot in the fence, once we find the right spot we can find things to hit the fence or run at it are selves. " Jahero looked down at the puppies. " me and gemini will run at the fence if need be" he stated

Gemini nodded."it sounds like it should work.ok, let's all start looking separately so we can cover more ground quickly.when one of us finds it, alert the others and start weakening it.also, one of us should tell Rayne so that she's ready." She said.secretly, she hoped that she wouldn't have to run into the fence.it was strange, she had faced electric fences before and been fine, but this time she was leery of it.it must be stronger this time...if I'm that wary of it. she thought.

Hunter jumped up and found a stick."ok, I'm ready! Uh Gemini? What's wrong?" He asked, with all the naive perceptiveness of the young.

Tallia jumped at the oppertunity to return to rayne and tell her what the plan was. She was terrified of the thought of being electricuted. Quickly, she scampered off into the woods. Fallowing her own scent to keep to the path she knew was safe and clear. In her haste, it didn't take long for the fluffy akita pup to return to the spot she'd left the penned female.

"We've got a plan. We're gonna find a weak spot in the fence, Jahero and the others with then ram it until it shorts out. That's when you have to be ready. You need to get threw before the human come and before the current resumes."

"Right, got it!" Rayne said as she looked around. The buzzing in the air was overwhelming to her ears. She'd never been caged like this before, and she didn't like it.

Jahero picked up a large branch and started running down the fence line with the branch dragging along the fence. the branch sparking and at some point setting on fire because of the force of power in the fence. Astro followed close behind, trying to notice the difference in the fence.

Gemini took up another branch and ran the opposite way and lower on the fence, with Hunter hot on her heels.

As Jahero and Gemini ran around then fence around her, Rayne noticed a difference in the buzzing that surrounded her. It was in the corner, right by the shack that smelled funny and was stained with the full husky's blood. When Gemini hit a certain spot over there, Rayne could tell that was the weak point.

"Tallia," Rayne said. "Tell Jahero and the other's that the weak point is by the shack. I'll go tell Gemini so that she can start to work on dissabling the electricity."

"Right, sure thing." Responded Tallia before she and Rayne darted off in seperate dirrections. Tallia caught up with Jahero and Astro quickly and explained to them what Rayne had told her.

Hunter tilted his head, listening."I think that sounds funny.do you think so Gemini?" He asked.

Gemini grunted and went back over the fence, trying to pinpoint what was different.

"Gemini... Hunter..." Rayne said as she reached the two. She was saddened to see that Hunter was wrapped up in all of this, it meant Astro wasn't far behind either. The two boys were still so young, they should be exposed to such hardships. "Do you hear it? It's over here!" She told them motioning to the fence. Rayne picked up a bowl with her teeth and tossed it at the fence. The buzzing stopped for half a second and then resumed.

Gemini's ears perked and she dropped the stick."that's it! Thanks Rayne." She said excitedly.

Hunter bounced up and down."yes! We found it we found it! We can get Rayne out now!" Gemini hushed him.

Jahero and astro rushed over - no time to over joy now there was a job to do. jahero started to slowly dig dirt onto the fence

"Are we really going to have to throw ourselves into the fence onee-chan?" Tallia asked Gemini once she caught up with the others.

Gemini shrugged."only the bigger dogs,and only if Jahero thinks we need to." she answered.

Hunter watched what the husky was doing and decided to join in.for a little guy,he was a good digger.

( i am very sorry guys, i have been stumped )) Jahero start to slowly move towards the fence. Throwing dirt at the fence seemed to be doing the job. Everytime a small rock or dift hit the fence it lite up slightly

Gemini joined in,using her paws to toss stray rocks at the fence."how long will it take?" she panted.

"We know it worked when the light stops. then it will be safe to craw under" jahero said

From her side, Rayne began to dig aswell. Soon there was a mound of dirt on both sides of the fence. The damp dirt grounded the electified fence and soon enough room for the smaller dogs to fit under was available to the dogs.

"Look," Tallia started, "I think Hunter could fit under there now. He should go under and help dig on the other side."

Hunter jumped at the idea.by now,the puppy's mostly white fur had turned brown with mud.he wiggled under the fence with room to spare and started digging."it's scary,being in here.let's hurry." he said.

"You're telling me!" Rayne assured Hunter with a joking big sister tone and continued digging. The team of dogs was almost done their dig when suddenly a spot light landed squarely on their possition. Behind the spotlight was Marc, the twisted vet. He had told Jaque to leave the female in the yard over night to attract the escapees, but never expected the two others to come.

"Oh no what do we do?" Tallia yipped with excitmen and fear a she fought her erge to run.

"RUN!" Rayne ordered as she shoved Hunter threw the hole back to the other side of the fence. The dirt around the chain links of the fence fell into the hole, making in just narrow enough for Rayne to fit her head under. It was now or never! The red pitbull lab mix took a few steps back and then ran at the hole, diving nose first in attempts to free herself.

Rayne's plan had worked, her head was free but unfortunately her shoulders had gotten caught on the electric links of the fence. A howl of pain rang out as the electricity surged threw her body, but she refused to give up. Kicking her back legs franticly, she was able to push herself forward enough to break her soulders free of the metal of the fence. It dug into her fur and skin but the pain was unnoticable next to the numbing intecity of the fence. Rayne was free but unable to move.

"We've got to help her!" Tallia said as she darted back and forth between the woods and the fence. She was at a loss of what to do. She grabbed Rayne by the scruff of her neck and tried to drag her in to the safety of the wood but found she was much heavier then she'd expected.

"DAVID, DON'T LET THOSE MUTTS GET AWAY!" Marc shouted to the dog catcher as he fallowed their movements with the light. David had been waiting for the signal and fallen asleep, but at the sound of Rayne's painful howls had woken up. He stumbled to his feet and fumbled his snare a couple times before he was able to shake the sleep from his head.

Hunter started throwing more dirt at the fence to try and short it out."hold on,Rayne! we'll get you out!" he barked.

Gemini took a more direct approach,hurling herself at the fence and digging around Rayne,loosening some of the dirt.the pain of electrocution made her howl,but she kept throwing her weight against the fence,taking some of the electricity away from Rayne."Jahero,pull her! help!"
