I really want to get myself a Samsung tablet Nook. But I have to hold off until I've bought all the Christmas presents.

Speaking of games I've just started playing ff7 :) the graphics are shocking it's adorkable, it's amazing the jump between ff7 and 8 :)

As for Christmas due to being a penniless ho all my gifts are upcycled or handmade this year :)

Except I'm getting coloring books and books for my nieces and nephews. But those were basically free.

The only Christmas gift I still need to get is for my mom. I'm torn between a couple of statuettes .

I'm not enjoying ff7 too much. But I'm going to strive through.

@ Kit: They're similar-ish. They're both statuettes that involve dragons and coffee, and they're both really cute and really fitting for my mom, as she loves dragons and I'm pretty sure she subsists on coffee X'D

I'm still reading Simon R. Green's From a Drood to a Kill, but I just today picked up Devil Wears Prada. I can't wait to dive into it!

But.

In the meantime, I'm getting ready to move in the next couple months. I started packing up all my books, and my shelves are looking so forlorn without the books.

And I need more boxes.

Shad what's it about? I started a super good fantasy series The Stormlight Archive, but I've been waiting on the 2nd book at the library for 4 weeks now and I'm still like 3rd in line.

well some guy was found in a Oozak's pond on groundhog day.. that's about as far as I've gotten. the first page was like "yeah ! I can read this" and than there was a bunch of stuff that's dry to me about names and relationships and such. than some action, and more dry stuff. it's a real slow opener. I'm on chapter 5 now though, so maybe something will start picking up soon.

Taiyo:: Ah! I always get my mom-in-law a dragon for like every holiday. She had a collection ages ago, but long-story-short her ex sucks and she lost it, so we're trying to start it again. I'm drawing her one this year though.
I could drink coffee all day if I wasn't a coffee-snob who won't drink cheap coffee.

Shad:: I get annoyed with books like that. Some of them I've read have been worth it though. Like the A Song of Ice and Fire series I dearly love, but I felt like Game of Thrones was super slow starting the first time I read it.

Well I'm hoping it picks up. These old old old books usually do once you get past the blah blah explanations. I wish they had written explanations into the story as it went along instead of trying to drop all the names in at once. >.> I plan to mix it all up within my stories like hidden fact bubbles that don't distract fromt he flow. i'm seriously about to give up put it down and re read tamora pierce again though..all of them...a gain.. for like the upteenth time. xD

When I was covering a lesson today I read half of of mice and men.

I read the entirety of Alanna the first adventure yesterday >.<
