I got a call yesterday from the company in Mt Isa about the apprenticeship. Looks like I've made it through to the second (hopefully final) round of interviews on Thursday afternoon via phone. At some stage I'm sure I'll have to fly up there to actually meet them in person.

I remembered I had a map of looking into the distance between the new and current locations. 25hrs driving, straight. No stops. Or a 6.5hr flight.

Still waiting to hear back about this apprenticeship. The longer I wait without hearing anything back, apparently the better my chances are. I should hear something around the end of the month/start of next month either way regardless. Interview went ok I think.

Waiting game sucks!

I'm running through various options on how to get up there with all my stuff and so on. I *might* be able to get a place up there somewhere. At this stage, its really not going to be cheap. >_<'

Also. I shaved my head. Because... Well, partly for the job, partly because I felt like it. Shaved head feels different. Not worse, not better, just, different.

A single shot, or a double is 2 shots, and I'll let you guess what a triple would be! Its about how much alcohol I was putting in my drinks. somewhere between a large double and a small triple shot worth. Mixed with coke.

Got some new ink on Monday.

This is only about 1/3 of the final piece, maybe less even. I've still got a background image to go in yet, and that will cover everything from the top of my shoulders to the bottom of my waist.

That's pretty sweet, man. I like how feathery her wings look.

On that note, I'd love to get another tattoo!! I've got a few ideas swirling around in my noggin, and I want them all!

My tattooist is amazingly good, and shes still an apprentice! Thats also missing detail too by the way. A second pass will sort all of that out at some point in the future. And then theres all the demons and angels in the back ground, along with the light of heaven and the flames of hell above and below respectively. Its going to be a big assed piece all done!

On another note, I went to Sydney last night and met a girl while I was out. She seems cool and we'll keep chatting hopefully. Thats about as far as it went. So 3hrs driving each way, plus 1hr each way for work... thats a total of 8hrs driving I did yesterday, plus an 8hr day at work. I was up 22hrs yesterday. Strangely, when I got out of the car when I got home, I was stumbling around and had poor balance like I was drunk! Weirdest thing from lack of sleep, as those of you who know anything of my shenanigans years back may recall I'd regularly go 2 days on 4hrs sleep, and pushed myself to 5 days without just to see if I could. Never had that effect for any of that. Strange.

On another note, SUPER busy week last week. Fuck all sleep and plenty of stuff to be done. And work was fairly flat out too which was good. Rather that than standing around doing fuck all.

I think after doing bugger all now, I need another nap lol!

OK so I had an art weekend with one of my friends. She also brought up the two pictures I bought off her recently too, and I customised the frames they went into to match the style of artworks.

Well, I found out today that some woman I'd slept with previously had told people, specifically my ex, that we were dating. As much as I like a good practical joke, thats not what I consider funny.

So after I sorted that crazy little problem out, I made myself some sammiches. They were real good. I like sammiches! ^_^

Moral of the story, dont be a crazy bitch or you'll get passed over for sammiches!
