How long have you been drawing for?

@Karayna: Not particularly, it's just going to be family. Then again, my niece is sort of a party in herself, since she's only three. :D

I've been drawing officially since June. As a full time student with a full time job, it hasn't been very much though.

Chex ~ Oh well. New Years then shall be party time. : DD
Awww! I miss that age. Everything is fun and everyone always dotes on you. Not to mention the huge amount of presents you get at Christmas.

Fai ~ Hmmm, yeah. With both a job and school, I can completely understand why you've had no time to draw. I only had school and I did no drawing what-so-ever. Practice makes perfect, maybe during the summer you'll find time?

I really hope so! I enjoy drawing a lot!

Fai ~ ^^ That's great; art that one enjoyed making is always better than art one did not enjoy making. Plus you get better faster when you enjoy it. That is at least how I have found it to be.

Fai ~ I do not feel that being fast is really important to art, yes, it feels nice getting things done so you can move onto the next project, but taking time on a piece can make it really great.

I like going fast because if I don't I can get fed up really easily and stop the drawing before I'm anywhere near finished. I'm a lazy-bum. ^^ U

Vye ~ ^^ I'm just lining it, cause my penciling is really really messy and needs to be cleaned up. XP

I try to always do art for people. If it is for someone other than me, I know I will try my best. I just get annoyed if it takes too long, because it is for someone. I don't want them to have to wait.

Fai ~ I feel the same way. I recently finished a commission for someone and because I was so late finishing it, simply gave it to them as a gift. I took over three months to finish it so yeah. I felt really horrible. T o T

I also agree that more effort is put into art for others than when it is drawn for yourself.
