I've never been to California but I would like to visit someday...

Where would you like to visit? :) There's lots to see. It really is a big state!

I dunno really... My fiancé knows a lot more about California than I do...

Xuv: See thing is - California ... it depends on where you live. Up north, in Northern California, yes we do have seasons, people don't believe me but we do. in Southern California, no they don't have seasons (or as drastic of ones as Northern California gets) - all in the same state. It depends on where you live. Not all of California is like LA and Hollywood and what you see in movies and on TV.

I will be flitting in and out of here today, so my responses may seem sporadic.

US is really huuuuuge to have various climate.

LA is in Southern California, yes. San Fransisco (another huge city) is up on the coast in Northern California). :) California is a huge state. I'm 7 hours from home, and still in the same state as my parents.

Yeah, I've gotten good at figuring out what cities most people know about.
Oh, wow! O.o Less than a day of driving! Well non stop of course. From one coast to the other, not even going to every state, it's roughly estimated at 70 or so hours, but that depends on where you are going to and from as well.

Well, I don't think 'normal' traveller would do more than ten hours of driving STRAIGHT.
Though, our country is divided by a sea... so. I didn't count that distance of sea in. Just the land travelling.

Let me see... I know.
New York, Washington, Miami, Seattle, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Arizona... among the few that I can pull out without any reference. But I do recognize some other names when I see them. Oh, and I don't remember which is state and which is city. XD lol.

I'd go to Disneyland...

Zig + Nemo, yeah. I'm just now getting to the really bad part of my cold. Sinus pressure and sore throats/coughs. It's terrible.

Also, our high today is supposed to be 84 (29) in Phoenix.

ooo... sinus, I hate sneezes. It makes my nose and breathing so uncomfortable.

do you have a humidifier? that should help some.

Not for a cold. I do have an appointment next week with a nose doctor to have my sinuses looked at. I've had terrible sinus issues since September which have made my life really difficult, and I know it's not just seasonal allergies or a mere sinus infection because I've had my allergy test done and the antibiotics that I was given for an infection didn't work. So we'll see what happens.

llonka, I've tried it. Hasn't done anything for me.

Hopefully it is nothing severe with your sinus problem.

Seiki: You're in Arizona? My brother only lives about 3 hours or so, out of Phoenix. I may have distances off, and time, but I know that he's in Arizona too.

Ah, ok - I've only been there once and with all of the driving - we drove from home to take him back to school, I started mixing up drive times between distances.

And it's hard to type (typing how something is said is hard for me to do), as I know I mispronounce it. I know that much.
