I love talking about ghosts! I want to stay overnight in one of the haunted buildings on campus.

I get ghosts following me sometimes. It doesn't bother me anymore.

Supposedly there was some old haunted building in the city I used to live in. There were guards though so you had to sneak in.

@ momo - You got that right. I might have to get you started sometime then just for fun.

I was followed by a dark spirit for awhile...but it's gone now.

I get random things passing through every so often... They usually don't stick around for more than a day or two, and it's to the point I just ignore them now.

dark spirits...those things are scary. never been near one, and I'm glad.

my mom and grandma did some stuff to the house like put salt down around it so non of that stuff would come around here

I had a Victorian governess following me for a little while, but she's long gone by now.

We never found out. We went to a private school and they keep things hush hush. She was one of four ghosts in the one building. It seemed like she was trying to protect us and warn us about the evil spirit in that building. Who she called papa.

That doesn't hint at anything good.

Yeah, that sounds creepy. I had a dark spirit find me while I was in Ireland, once, but it didn't do more than watch for a couple of days and then vanish again.

No it doesn't and it was really weird because there was the little girl, a woman, a man and an older man. The older man is the one the little girl called papa and the woman called daddy.

I still have the recordings we got from our ghost hunts.

That's awesome that you have recordings.

you know, doing that ghost hunt might have invited some spirits to follow you...doing those things invites them in.

The only encounter I am sure of having, was seeing a shadow person walk from my room to the bathroom right across the hall when i used to live in the apartments. My mom and friend tried to tell me I didn't see anything, but I know what I saw.

I'm never going to get to sleep if we keep talking about ghost. It's not that they scare me it's that my mind gets all worked up thinking about them and that usually leads into the what happens after you die thing.

I used to have a trio of spirits that I would hear as I was falling asleep every so often... They would chat while I fell asleep, so I would never remember the exact conversations, but I do remember that they left for a long time, and they came back ONCE and I remember going "really, guys, I need to sleep now." and one of them just said "so this is how you greet us after so long?" I must have offended them or something, because they never came back after that.

Yeah, but the last one we got was really creepy. We had decided to do an all night investigation and well my friend's bf at the time chickened out after being in the building for about an hour. During that investigation I ended up actually seeing the evil spirit. It was a tall shadow figure with red eyes and it was standing only a few feet away from us. Anyway at the end of the recording the woman is screaming, "Stop it. Stop it Daddy. Stop it." over and over.

Yikes.

That's creepy. I kinda wish I could get good recordings like that, though... I need a good recorder, but even around where I live there aren't really any good hotspots. There's a restaurant down the street that's supposed to be haunted, but it's all low-level stuff.

jecy: I tend to choke up and cry a little when I think about ghosts sometimes.
it makes me kind of sad because they may be lost spirits and we can't do anything about it.
