Hello! I wanted to make a thread to talk about something I've been increasing my passion in as of late...cooking! (And subsequently...eating said food)

I changed some of what I do with it to suit the tastes of myself and my boyfriend. But my family back home loves it as-is. My changes: 3 chicken breasts instead of a whole fryer (while boiling said breasts, add a can of campbells chicken stock (herb & garlic flavor!) for extra tastiness. I add enough pasta to the water later to basically fill a glass cake pan. (Yay leftovers) I nix the onion/peppers/pimento/cayenne (BF is picky) and add a can of corn and extra cheese instead. I also use 2 cans of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of chicken & garlic at the end as well. Flavorrrr, you need it!

Hahaha, ninja! Yeah I kinda spam out food things and get a lot of random followers. xD I've never tried enchiladas! But I do have some recipes saved. My boyfriend can be super picky so its hard sometimes to make stuff.

Enchilada casserole really isn't enchiladas, you use Nacho Cheese Doritos! :heart: you just brown hamburger, then mix in green chiles, one can enchilada sauce, i think two cans mushroom soup. Layer the meat mixture, chips, then cheese twice. bake until bubbly! it's really good. :yes: i have to check to see how many cans of mushroom soup though.. i cant remember haha.

hubby is really picky too, but i make him eat stuff anyways. :rofl:

Hahaha, I'll have to see if the BF would be open to eating some form of enchilada. He's weird about some veggies...and likes others that I refuse to eat. XD

sillly guy! we live in southwest Kansas... so mexican is a must. haha. which is fine because i loooove mexican food! :heart: what's your favorite?

Honestly I don't know, I love pasta...and sushi/asian food in general. Italian is always good. XD And then american classics...hotdogs/hamburgers...meat meat and meat. xD

He dislikes onions/peppers/tomatoes (will eat tomato sauce) I don't like peas/broccoli/cauliflower soooo its a balancing act. (We both dislike spinach)

well you could do green beans, corn, carrots, beets, asparagus, potatoes! :yes:

We usually go with corn and carrots, he can be weird with green beans too. XD

Well I love making complicated things kid friendly..lol Chicken spagetti is my personal favorite just because I love the way it tastes. >.< I made a poor kids chicken and roasted tomato mushroom pesto the other night. I like making grilled meats and baking as well

ohh really what kind of stuff do you make? I try to do grown up meals arranged in a fun kid friendly way to get mine to eat more healthy well balanced stuff. how old is your Jacob?

We did yesterday, but its actually fairly nice outside! Sunny/Partly cloudy. Not a bad temp, so there is no reason other than someone messing something up or hitting a pole out there.
