Yeah, I've been in a rut as well.

I can't get the prose right. Goshdarnit. D<< XDD
The good thing is that I'm really getting a feel for my characters, and thinking about them a lot, and actually writing down my thoughts when they come to me. xD

I mean, you know sometimes you think you'll never forget something but you eventually do. xD

Baah, writing essays have always been so much easier and straight forward. xD

A friend of mine donated one of her random,private, unused guilds to me over on Gaia to use as a story dump, so I'm taking advantage of it! Such a handy way of keeping everything together - the characters, outlines, uneditted writings, etc.

I was always good at essay writing...not as good at fiction. But it's enjoyable and the more I do it, the smoother it'll be.

Oh good, glad you aren't burned. I avoid sunlight myself unless it is very early morning or late afternoon. It is not so hot then. When I have to go out in the heat I feel exhausted, although I like sitting by the pool every once in a while :)

We went at about 5:00 and stayed an hour, so it wasn't too intense. It felt awesome, though! The water - all day being warmed by the sun. Ahhhh...

Oh yea, that is the best time to go. That is when we usually venture out of the house and go do stuff.

I still need to get my son to learn how to swim. He is terrified of the water and I'm terrified that he might fall in somewhere. My daughter has been a regular fish since she was tiny. When we lived in Seattle she would splash around in the cold water at Alki Beach. Ah, to be a kid again :)

How old is he? Lauren thinks she's bigger than she is and gets frustrated that we keep our hand on her. Today she attempted to go under for the first time, so she's getting more and more comfortable.

EDIT - Alright! I'm turning in for the night, guys. Last day for entries is tomorrow - get them in by 9 pm CST (central US). And then round 1 voting will begin! Yay!
