Yeah - with Norah - I was on my own. :/ Blah... I don't regret her at all, but it was really hard for me to come to terms with it all. But things have worked out - it's just taken time for me to come to terms with it all - when I was expecting her. Daniel, my hubby, was someone who stumbled into our lives and wasn't expected at all. :)

Aww. I am so happy for you Moonlit. I won't lie, the first time I saw my husband I thought he was a creepy, weirdo and decided to steer clear of him. Well we see how well that worked.

Thank you!! I love him so much - and the fact that he's accepted that I come as a package deal with my daughter. <3

My hubby started off as that weird guy who always showed up where I worked every day (the place I worked at the time that we met at least - I've worked a series of different jobs) I happened to work who was shy and took ages to ever talk tome.

I met my husband on Yahoo Personals. This is of course before it became a meat a market and hook up website. I thought he was adorable and we've been inseparable ever since. Well, except the times when he had to be gone due to being in the Navy.

I know that when we get pregnant, Rodd will be there for me the whole time. Otherwise, I will hurt him.

Haha! Dan knows that he better not go anywhere, but he's been wonderfully attentive this whole pregnancy so far. :] So that's good.

Aww. I know that when/if I get pregnant, my hubby will be there through it all and be awesome.

I am so tired of being alone. But I also refuse to settle.

That is the way to do it Kiri. I refused to settle and it was 4 years until I found my husband. I have a friend who just finally found her man and married a few months ago. Its been years for her.

It was extremely fortunate that I found Rodd when I did. And considering that we grew up on opposite sides of the country we are lucky that we found each other. One of my big rules for dating, was to never date a guy from CA. Having grown up there, so many of them act like entitled ass hats. No real manners and super fixated on the outside package. If Rodd hadn't worked out, I would have checked out the Southern States...they have manners and respect. It's usually beaten into them from a young age. Heh.

Manners and respect are definitely good things. Jacob is also a big goof ball. He always knows when I need a laugh and can always make me laugh.

Husbands like that are the best. Mine can do the same thing. He's the other half of my soul.

@Kirin: Its still not a bad thing. The friend I was telling you about is in her late 40's - early 50's.

*Chugs a whole pitcher of ice water.* Don't know how much I will be around tonight guys or how coherent I will be. Been out in the heat and super high humidity all day. The heat/humidity really got to me.

Of course. What would you like? Would you prefer a snack or are you ready for a full meal?
