LOL honestly that wouldn't surprise me any at all. There was one place in Georgia that was my favorite place to go and get a loaded baked potato and hush puppies that was sort of like a little Shack by a gas station. Best southern food I've ever eaten

The reviews were pretty bad though for a lot of them, apparently the cook that made all the good food left. Gotta find out where they moved to I guess

I would help you but I probably wouldn't know a good hushpuppy from a meh one. I don't really even know the "correct" way to eat one.

A good hush puppy is one that you like to eat. It all depends on what your taste is. And you just eat it one bite at a time because if you stuff the whole thing in your mouth you'll probably choke

I've noticed they tend to be a big hard to eat. Is that normal? Very chewy and very dry.

If they're very dry it's not a very good hush puppy. They should be really crisp and brown on the outside and sweet and cornmeal on the inside. I like them with onions and little bits of pieces of corn in it.

Good to know. They sound like they would be amazing with additions.

Most often it's onion bits but I have had them with bacon bits also
