I have to agree with Lilithia. Dashboard Confessional is a pretty emo band... Heck, there name sounds kind of emo too...

Emo or not, many of the "emo" or other such labeled bands nowadays tend to have the same whiny sounding vocalists, terribly done makeup jobs and most bland and boring songwriting skills of any bands today. I listen to plenty of emotional music, but not what people generally consider to be emo. Take Nightwish for example, very poetic lyrics that could be considered "emo", but Nightwish themselves aren't an emo and/or pop rock band.

And dear lord, please don't base your opinions off of something you read from wikipedia. It pains me to think that people actually consider that a good enough source of info to base an opinion off of.

P.S. Fall Out Boy isn't punk. >.<
