I was a writing major in high school, the teacher really didn't know anything but poetry, so i have a lot. lol

Here you go:

The Night Is

The night is a child
And things lurk
In the pale moonlight
Everywhere you look
A new picture fading in and out.

The night is skipping
You say you see trees but
In the game of the night
So young they are creatures
The kind you've never seen.

The night is a joker
And your mind plays tricks
Who are these figures
Climbing on your wall,
Do they mean you harm?
Or to take your soul?

The night is impatient
And you wait till morning
To see it was all a dream
You made it through the night
To morning once more.

But in a night so young
Those monsters you see
Will they come again?
To play with you and me?

In The Spring

In the spring, nights turn to day
and every thought seems to fade away
yet we morn our lost and loved ones
as if everything we lived for is gone
before our very eyes, vanished, lost,
no longer there. Yet we move on
as soon as time passes.

We forget and no longer think of what was

In the spring, nights to turn day
and every thought seems to fade away
Take flight our loved ones
Turn night into day
Makes us never forget you with
the love you still have.

Let us see what you see
From the blue sky above
Fly through the night
In hopes of bringing day
The white dove you see
Makes us live again.
