She looked at him " Why must you lie.....to me. " She stated as she gazed into his eyes. " what if i do not love you what if I only think i do....will you let them talk badly of us...or make fun of me in public...."

He sighed. His heart sank. Did she mean what she said? He gave a soft smile. "Get some rest. The party is tomorrow " he said walking inside.
