Caroline smiled at the idea of them being "friends." She had much more planned for the young man sitting in front of her. Of course, he didn't know that. So she merely nodded and continued eating her food. The meal passed quickly for the both of them. Occasionally, she would glance up at him. But for the most part, she kept her attention focused on her meal. She did not want him to see the strange glimmer that had begun to form in her eyes. When a vampire became hungry for human blood, their eyes took on almost an inhuman glow....normally red or pink tinted, depending on the vampire. Caroline's eyes at first turned pink and then quickly deepened to an almost blood red color.

After the meal, Sylar paid the bill and escorted her outside the restaurant. She quickly brought out a pair of sunglasses and slipped them on. She knew she must look odd but seriously hoped Sylar would not be spooked by her unusual behavior. He asked if she'd enjoyed dinner and again, she nodded without saying a word. Finally, he brought up walking her home. She sighed softly, stepping closer to him. The moment she'd been waiting for all night was almost upon them. She took his hand in his.

"I would love for you to walk me home, Sylar." she whispered, tongue running along the inner line of her bottom lip.

(sorry it took me so long to reply. I've been ill for the past two day.)

((That's totally fine. I would rather you get better than RP)).

Sylar was glad that the two of them were beginning to leave the restaurant. He did have a few more things that he wanted to do before he retired for the night. He glanced at the other as he raised his eyebrows a little when he saw that Caroline was putting on a pair of sunglasses. It was nighttime so there was little need for the other to wear them, but whatever made her happy. The two of them continued to walk down the street heading in no particular direction. Caroline hadn't said anything about where she lived, but then again he figured that the other would say something if he had gone a wrong way.

As the two of them walked they went passed a rather dark looking alleyway. He moved towards the mouth of it to block the other from the alleyway in the event that they were attacked. Turning towards the other he smiled, and stopped walking as he took her hand in his own. "I am glad that I got to know you. I wish I could spend my entire life with you," said Sylar. Little did he know the weight of his words.

A soft breeze floated across her skin as the pair continued walking down the dark street. When they passed a rather dark looking alleyway, Sylar positioned himself on the other side of her. She smiled at the act. It was rather pointless, she was more than able to handle herself, but the though that he would be willing to risk himself for her safety...well, that was more appealing to her than anything. "I am glad that I got to know you. I wish I could spend my entire life with you," Sylar said as they stopped, taking her hand in his.

Caroling shuddered. She could no longer put the moment off. Smiling in a seductive manner, she brought her hands up and wrapped them around his neck. She pulled him in, caressing her lips against his in a passionate manner. Slowly, so as not to alarm him, she backed them up into the dark alleyway. She moved him so his back was pressed solidly against the brick wall. "Did you mean it?" she breathed, breaking the kiss, "Do you truly wish to spend your entire life with me?"

Sylar glanced at the other when he saw the rather seductive look on the other's face. He smiled back in response, but then his eyes widened when he felt the other's lips on his own. Sucking in a bit of air he found himself leaning into the kiss as his eyes slowly slid closed. He opened his eyes though when he felt the other break the kiss and ask her question. He found himself nodding towards the other. As a few seconds ticked by he found himself with his back against the wall. He glanced behind him wondering where this would lead. He was getting a little uncomfortable, but he was pretty sure that the other wasn't going to hurt him in any way whatsoever. "I did mean it," said Sylar as he smiled at the other. Little did he know what he had gotten himself into.

Caroline chuckled, running her fingers through his hair. She gazed at him softly, feeling her fants beginning to lower in response to her need. "I am glad you feel that way." Her eyes began glowing, pulling him into a trance, "You are the one...the one I have been searching for..." She caressed the side of his neck with the tips of her fingers, "...and now, you will be mine for all eternity." She pressed her lips against the soft flesh of his throat. She opened her mouth, pressing her fangs sharply into him. She drank from him deeply, reveling in the taste of the blood that filled her mouth and flowed down her throat. The feeling of actually feeding from him was a feeling unlike any she had ever known.

Her fingers clenched against the front of his shirt, pulling him closer to her. She moaned against his skin, drinking in more of him. He was...delicious. Only a few more seconds and he would be weak enough to transport him back to her house. She would need to feed from him two more times to complete the transformation. He would also need to drink from her...eventually.

Sylar found himself sighing as he felt the other thread her hands in his hair. He let a smile grace his features, but then froze when she turned her gaze onto him. He felt utterly helpless and paralyzed when he felt the other stare into his own eyes. He barely heard what the other said, but as he heard her utter those words he felt himself break out into a sweat. He knew that what ever was going on was bad, but no matter how much he tried to break free from the other. He had felt the initial pain of someone biting into his neck as he let out a muffled cry of pain. W-what," he managed to whimper out as he managed to break out of the trance a little bit. Before, he could do anything else though he slipped back into it as he fell forward a little bit as he closed his eyes losing the ability to feel any of his limbs or even his feet for that matter. He slumped forward, the last thought being"Why is this happening to me?"

Caroline held Sylar's limp body up with ease as he slumped against her. She pulled her head back, licking the remaining blood from her lips as she gazed at the trophy now cradled in her arms. She smiled down at him, scooping him easily into her arms. The streets were not all but deserted so there would be few witnesses as she carried him back to her place. As she walked, the paved roads and sidewalks gave way to grassy hills and large trees. She had purposely chosen a discreet location, one far away from town, for her lair. There would be on one to hear his screams. And, yes, he would scream. The transition tended to be...painful for most. She herself had only witnessed one other transition, other than her own, and the victim have been in agony for hours before her body had finally given in to the vampire blood.

"Soon, you will be mine." She whispered, carrying him into the large Victorian styled house she now stood in front of.

She carried him up a few flights of stairs, into one of the top stairs bedroom, and deposited Sylar on the large canopy bed in the middle of the room. She stepped back, settling herself down in an oak chair near the bed and simply waited for him to awaken. It would be a few hours but she could wait.

**Sylar was floating in an inky darkness. There was no sound and there also was no light. Glancing around
he couldn't tell up from down. Everywhere he turned there was inky darkness. He couldn't tell what was the sky or what was the ground. He called out for help, but his only response was a deafening silence. Calling out again his response was complete silence. He began walking around in the darkness a little not really knowing where he was going. He then tripped over something in the darkness, and went flying forward into the darkness. He ended up falling into the darkness where he woke up with a start.

Letting out a strangled cry he opened his eyes as he looked around. Where the heck was he? Why was he here? How the heck did he get here? As he laid there the events that had happened a mere few hours ago came crashing back to him. Rolling over on on side he managed to get into a sitting position as he glanced around the room. He suddenly got very dizzy, and he fell onto his side as his breathing was labored.

Sylar woke up in a panic, breathing extremely labored. Caroline watched as he rolled over onto his side, he lifted himself into a sitting position. He did not last long before he was laying back on his side. Caroline frowned slightly. She felt a twinge of guilt course through her but quickly shook it off. All victims of a vampire bite suffered the same ill effects at first. Eventually, it would wear off the more she fed on him. His body would become accustomed to it in time. Besides, he would not suffer long. After all, she would turned him before too long and he would join her in the darkness that was eternity.

"You're awake," She spoke silently so as not to frighten him further, "I am glad. I was afraid you would not awaken. Not all of my...victims awaken after being fed upon."

(AGH! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been super busy with baby stuff and the new but temporary job.)

Sylar's body both felt like it was on fire, and freezing at the same time. What was wrong with him? He tried to recall how he had gotten here, but right now all he was getting was fuzzy memories, pain, and darkness. What had happened to him? How did he get here? As he continued to breath heavily on his side he willed his body to begin to relax a little bit. Maybe that would help him clear his mind.

Caroline frowned slightly as she approached him. Sylar appeared to be reacting badly to having been bitten by her. He was still curled up on his side, having showed no reaction that he had heard her words. His body was warm to the touch and it felt as if he was running a finger. She sighed softly. Perhaps biting him had not been the smartest idea after all. She had hoped he would not have such a strong reaction to the venom in her bite.

"It will all be over soon..." she soothed, running her hand through his hair. Perhaps all he needed was time. He would not turn from one bite, not fully anyway. If he became worse, she would have no choice but to complete the transformation ahead of schedule in order to save his life.

Sylar continued to rock back and forth as a low groan issued from his mouth. It just hurt so much. It was like liquid fire was running through his veins. Something cut through the pain though. A voice and a touch. He felt himself wanting to be closer to that voice and touch, not knowing that it was Caroline, and he found himself curling more towards the other as he rolled a little towards her. He knew that the other spoke the truth. It would all be over soon. Since it was always pain before pleasure. "Caroline?" asked Sylar as he managed to crack an eye open to look her way. "What is happening to me?"

Sylar rolled towards her, curling against her as a moan of pain fell from his lips. He opened his eyes, staring up at her. He asked what was happening to him. Caroline ran a cool hand through his hair, smiling softly. "Your body is simply reacting to...my venom." She was hesitant to use the word for fear of scaring him further, "You will be fine, I assure you. You simply need rest." She reached over the to the table and fetched a tall glass of clear liquid. "Here, this should help." She held it to his lips. The liquid was a medicine that she had received from a medicine man many years ago. It counteracted the venom from a vampire bite. She had used in sparingly over the years and had success with it in the past.

Venom. What was the other talking about? What venom. His mind was rather hazy about the events that had happened earlier, but they all came crashing back to him like a cold wave. The dinner, the alleyway, and finally the bite. He wanted to sit up, to get as far away from Caroline as he could. However, he couldn't will himself to move. It was like that his mind and body both wanted to stay there with the other. What was going on. Sylar then felt something cold pushed against his lips. The liquid touched his lips and he immediately found himself drinking from it. Whatever it was it was making the pain recede from him. "Th-Thank you," he managed to mutter out as he tried to focus his eyes. Was it the strain that had been placed on his body, or had it been the liquid that was making him tired. "Please tell me what are you." He was pretty sure that he knew the answer already, but he wanted to hear it from the other.

Caroline nodded as Sylar thanked him for the liquid. She tilted his head, however, at his question of what she was. She frowned slightly. Should she tell him? He was not exactly in the best..situation to be hearing news such as this.

"Sylar...as you may or may not be aware...I am a vampire." She sighed as she answered his question, not exactly knowing how he would react to her statement.

Had Sylar heard the other right? Did she say that she was a vampire? That couldn't have been real right? It had to be some kind of joke. Vampires didn't exist. He was probably with some kind of delusional person that thought that she was a vampire, but that didn't explain a lot of things. He would accept this for now, and when he was strong enough he would wait for the other to drop her guard, and then he would make his escape. Right now though he would bide his time and wait until he was strong enough. Hopefully, the other wasn't a mind reader for if she was he was pretty sure that she would be able to see the cogs working in his mind on an escape plan. "That's funny," muttered Sylar. "You're a vampire. So are you turning me into one too?" The conversation that they had before all of this in the alleyway made him think hard about what had truly happened. Maybe she was a real vampire.

Caroline smiled at the sarcasm in his voice, gingerly brushing back a lock of hair that had matted to his forehead. "Oh, I do plan on turning you...eventually." she murmured. Her words right now might not make any sense to him but he would eventually come to terms with her plans for his future. It was not as if he really had a choice in the matter. Besides, the transition would go a lot smoother if he willing accepted her gift to him.

"Fear not, Sylar." She cooed. "When you awaken, you will have no memories of this conversation." Her eyes widened slightly, her pupils dilating as she started easing him into a deep slumber.

Sylar paled a little bit when he heard the other utter that she would be turning him. Was he going to crave blood like her? Was he going to rob a human of his or her life? He didn't want that. He couldn't do that, no he wouldn't do that. He had no right to take another's life. There had to be another way. There just had to be. He wanted to struggle, to get away from the other, but as his eyes slid upwards over the other's eyes he felt himself caught in them. Sylar opened his mouth to say something, but then closed it as a wave of sleepiness washed over him. Yawning, he let his eyes slide closed as his last grasp on consciousness washed away into shadows.
