((I knew what you were aiming for I'm not that dumb I did it on purpose lol I had the same pllan but I was adding to it TT Sorry I didn't see your post lillie I'm replying right now.))

Waiting til the rest of the people with her were by Emily took a slight running start when she jumped and smiled as she was lifted by the steam. When she landed she looked at Clara and the others happy that they had gotten across well. She watched Gil as he sat on the floor and held back the laugh that had come from the image. She knew he was scaredy cat but she didn't know he was that bad.
After a bit of time she looked around the surroundings and noticed that the path was dull. She now recognized where they were at or atleast about where they were at. It was hard to recognize things when they weren't as bright as they usually were and she feared she and her friends would get lost so she waited for the others to regain themselves before she would speak. When she saw the man come up and ask for her to come with him she got suspicious. "I won't leave my friends allone here. They were going to have a hard time staying out of trouble in the well wonderland never the less in this one. They have to come with me if I'm even going to think of going with you." She said her voice was unhappy about him trying to seperate them. She had a bad feeling about him but she didn't want to be rude about it.

Jabberwock nodded at Emily when she responded. "I promise if they wait right here they will be just fine, miss. If I must take them though to make you feel better. I will," Jabber answered gently. He bowed slightly to the group of people. He knew the queen would most likely want to meet Emily no matter what, so he would take them all with him if he must.

With a curious but suspicious look Emily thought of something. "Where are you taking us exactly?"

Jabberwock looked to the girl a small smile on his face. "To meet a friend of mine. She is quite interested in you," he answered softly. He kept his tone light to appear friendly and kind. Also he did not want to scare the poor miss away. He could never do that. The queen would be most unhappy if he did so.

Break had heard the request of the Jabberwock of taking Emily with him and having them wait for her. He didn't really like that idea at all, after all though the young girl had been to Wonderland many of times this was not the same. Plus he couldn't allow her to go on her own in such a dangerous place with a man they didn't even recognize. Of course though the doctor would have easily recognized the wonderland creature if he were in his beastly form, but he currently wasn't in that particular form so of course he didn't know. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the said girl to have made it safely across the broken bridge and was relieved.

When Emily had spoken up about wishing for the small group to go with her he was relieved of course. He knew that Wonderland was currently dangerous for any of them and that being a group would be the best bet of survival. He frowned a bit at the Jabberwock's somewhat dodging answers. The creature was answering Emily's inquiries though he appeared to be hiding some parts of his answers. "If I may I feel that before you go wisking any of us away it would be prudent to tell us exactly where the destination is and who this friend is. Being Emily's doctor I am required to ask as such and know as such to ensure her as well as the other's safety, so as she has asked exactly where and whom is this friend and place you wish to take her?" he asked calmly and coming up with an excuse to try and get the creature to open up more with more details of what exactly he had intended.

Gilbert wasn't a scaredy cat, but rather he had just made it over what could have very well been his death. He found that the others had to have been even slightly more insane, that none of the others seemed to realize that they could have all died right then and there had they made one slip up in getting across. As his heart rate slowed to its normal pace and his body calmed down, Gil was able to slowly start to stand. When he heard the voice of the Jabberwock though he did jump slightly, as he hadn't expected it as he had been 'blind' and 'deaf' to everything else around him for a few moments and thus did not at first notice the presence of the creature.

As he heard the request to take Emily and for them to stay he, like Break, didn't like that idea for very much the same reasons. He was about to speak and protest when he heard Emily speak up and already voice objection to the Jabberwock's request. He heard as the Wonderland creature replied that if he had to he would take them all with him, and then as he gave sort of dodged answers as to where and whom he was speaking of when Emily asked. It was then that the words of the Chesire Cat rung through his head: '
You'll have to hurry as untold danger spots ahead. Beware though as things are not as they seem any longer. What may look human may indeed be a foe so trust not your eyes but your gut feelings. Ignore your common sense and trust only your instincts as sense has no place here...Pursue Rabbit carefully...'

Gil wondered for a moment if anyone else had recalled the Chesire's warning. He couldn't exactly tell if they had or not so he decided he would confide in them as a refresher just in case. "Remember what the Cheshire Cat had said? That things may not appear what they seem and that danger was ahead of us, and how we should trust our instincts? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not getting a good feeling about him" he said quietly hoping that only the little group could hear his words.

Jabberwock looked at the group with a puzzled look. He was never quite sure where the Queen's castle was actually located. It used to be the hedge maze center... now... now what was it called? "I am sorry, but I am not sure where that is called. It is not far and I can fly you all there... I used to know when wonderland was lovely, now I am quite unsure...," he trailed off. He was unsure if he should say the queen of hearts... would they be afraid? Jabber figured it would be best to tell them. "It is the Queen who would like to see you. I am sure she means you no harm. And if she tries to I will get you out of there for I was unaware of what she planned to do with you fellows," Jabber answer boldly. He was not going to be responsible for killing these people. He looked to the young boy and smilied. "I am glad you trust me, sir. It feel very nice," he replied to the small voice he had heard. It felt quite strange to feel trust. Jabber waited for the group to respond feeling a strange warm feeling in his usual dull heart.

Hearing that it was the queen Emily stiffened. Flashbacks of when her mother told stories of Wonderland went through her head. She had heard nothing but bad things about the queen and even if the man was trust worthy she knew that the queen wouldn't allow her to get away if she found out that she was the daughter of Alice, the girl who had defeated her. She nodded hesitantly and stepped foward. "We will go if the others agree. But I trust you to get us away the moment things get tense. I won't trust her no matter what after the way she had treated my mother when she first came here. But she might have an answer as to why Wonderland has become the way it is now." She said her voice was awkward but trusting in some way at the same time.

"Go not will I!" Clara screamed at the Jabberwock, and sat down. "Knife knife knife rose!" She started chanting and rocking back and forth. It was obvious her mind had split for the moment and she was not well.

The March Hare smiled, so far happy to still be alive. "It was very good my dear Mad Hatter! Very good indeed!"

Jabberwock had been about to reply to Emily when the other girl burst out screaming. He cocked his head to the left and looked at her in confusion. "Will that miss be alright?" he asked the older gentleman in a hushed whisper. Jabber had lost all train of thought when the girl burst out in a fit. It was quite startling and he had no been expecting it at all.

"I agree, quite good it was," she beamed. Mock watched in assumsement as the hatter danced upon a table. Quite an odd mand, but quite entertaining.

Break's attention too went to Clara before he could reply. His gaze remained on the girl even as he heard the Jabberwock's question. "I believe so, though it may take a few moments for her to regain her senses..." he said quietly and calmly knelt down beside the girl. After all she was a patient of Rutledge Asylum and he was one of the doctors there. He wasn't necessarily Clara's, but he knew the girl's condition. It was required after all for the doctors to know something about each others patient's in case something happened to the doctor treating them.

"Clara can you hear my voice?" he asked the girl calmly and waved a hand before her eyes. He needed to find out just how far out of her mind the girl currently was. He figured if her eyes followed his hand or if she responded to his question, then he knew there was something that he would possibly be able to do for her. If that weren't the case then there wasn't too much that he could do for her other than keeping talking to her, and try to reach her since he didn't exactly have the equipment needed to treat her psychosis.

Gil was still suspicious of the Jabberwock. When he answered though that it was the Queen of Hearts that wished to see Emily he knew that it probably wasn't a good idea. "Emily I don't think going to see her would be a good idea. After all from what I had been told the Queen is evil isn't she?" the boy quietly asked Emily. His golden gaze glanced over at the girl who was currenlty uttering things about a knife and a rose chant over and over again. He knew though that Break would try and take care of it, and so long as the doctor was there he knew that there wouldn't be much to worry about since he would ensure everyone else would remain safe. This of course didn't mean that he would let his gaze leave the girl.

Jabberwock's gaze remained on the girl having a fit. He had never really seen anything quite like it. Jabber thought that this was not going to work quite well. If the girl didn't want to come of her free will he may have to snatch her up. He was coming into a fowl mood since no one here would believe him when he spoke of the truth. Jabber did not allow deaths he did not cause to lay on his conscience.

~

Mock turtle grinned as he danced. If she were in her human form it would be much simplier for her to dance. Being in her turtle form it was quite hard to stand about on her legs. She sat there and flapped her little arms up and down.

Clara stopped chanting, her eyes growing wide, a twisted smile on her face. "Hear I do! Painting in red I must!" She looked straight at the Jabberwock tilting her head as she continued to smile. "Knife knife knife Rose! Pretty red you will show!"

The march hare watched as his former friend danced. He was weary of his friend ever since the change happened. "My dear Hatter....Doesn't the Queen need you?"

"Nothing." The Hatter said sitting down and pulling a cup of tea out of his hat.

Jabber continued to stare in awe at the crazy girl. He drew back a little when she stared widely at him. Jabberwock looked to the older gentleman, then the younger boy, then emily... The queen was most likely becoming impatient. He thought he would ask one more time before he made an attempt to sweep Emily up. "I hope that young miss is quite alright. Though I must ask again if Emily, may please come with me. The Queen is not going to be happy with me and I am not quite sure what she will do if return empty handed. I will not let any harm come to her or any of you if you all come since you have come with me to help me escape harm," the man explained. He shivered at the thought of what the queen may do to him.

~

Mock watched as the hatter disappeared. "Quite a strange fellow, wouldn't you say so?" she asked airily. Then a thought occured to her! "Hare, do you happen to know when the next new moon may be?" the turtle questioned. She hoped it was soon. How she longed to be that beautiful maiden once again.

Emilly thought of everything that was going on. She knew the Queen would eventually come for her alone if she did not come but she also knew the queen could try to kill her if she chose to. She felt that it was uselless to fight but possible to reason. She knew it was the Jabberwock and didn't want to displease him as he could kill them all in one hit. He was quite a gentleman for a servent of the queen and Emily believed that he could listen to reason. "I'll make a deal with you. If we travel on our own to the Queen and you go ahead and tell her. I will be certain to go and you can follow us as well. BUT you must stay away from us no matter what unless we are in need of your protection. I will not allow you to escort us as I do not need it at the time. I know where her palace is and aws trustworthy as you are I cannot trust a servent of the queen. I will give a signal in case you are needed for anything at all, you will know the signal when I use it. Can you accept this deal?" Her voice was somewhat disturbed but certain at the same time. The way she spoke was in a way that, although understandable by the Jabberwok, would be hard for most to agree with or even get the right idea from.

Jabberywock shrugged in response. "It seems reasonable to me. And the queen should not take my head since you will be there, but prefer to travel on your own. I'll will go to her and relay the message that you will be there soon. I will remain somewhat close by in order to hear your calling," he answered. He got the gist of what she was saying. "Stay away from me. Unless I need you. And I will go to the queen myself." "I shall be off then. Thank you for your cooperation," Jabber spoke in his deep voice. And with that he flew himself away. He flew into the queen's sitting room to see the hatter. "Hatter, your majesty. Emily has refused to come by my assitance, but will bring herself here. If she does not of course I shall snatch her up, but she has quite the group with her. A total of 4 with her included, madame," he human beast elaborated.

The march hare looked up at the sky and frowned a bit. "Im afraid y dear Mock Turtle it may be a few more days off, or a week...Im not very good at telling when such things come to pass. Is that your change time? It must be nice to change to something diferent then what we are now." He nodded and looked at his emptying tea cup.

[color=teal] Clara got up and blinked, confused as to what just happened, as if she herself didn't know what transpired. She went to Emily's side and stood there, looking around for anything, well, out of the ordinary.[/color

Break was a bit surprised to find that Clara seemed to snap herself out of her strange trance. From what he could tell, and in his past experience, the brief spell of insanity appeared to be a light one. He was pleased of the alternative offer that Emily had offered and was accepted by the Wonderland creature. He did feel slightly sorry for the Jabberwock, as he was to answer to the Queen and it would be her reaction that would determine just how long he lived. "Well I suppose that answers that. I presume we should continue our trek before we encounter perhaps something or someone dangerous here?" he offered calmly and stood, brushing himself off as he did so.

At this time the Cheshire decided to once more make an appearance. "Good to see that you're all still alive, but danger still lurks ahead. I warn you all once more trust not with your eyes but rather with your instincts" he said calmly with his normal grin before disappearing once more. He had known better than to show himself during the Jabberwock's presence. After all a servant of the Queen was something he preferred to steer clear of.

Gil was relieved when Clara calmed down and seemed to regain her sanity. He still eyed her carefully, after all he knew fully well that at times appearances could be deceiving. The doctor though seemed to be fairly calm so again he felt that there wasn't much to worry about. He was also relieved of the alternative proposition that was offered and accepted. He agreed with Emily that, although the man had appeared trustworthy he was still a servant of the Queen, and in a sense could still not be fully trusted. He watched out of the corner of his eye as the creature flew off, as the identity of the Wonderland creature appeared to become slightly clearer. Not many that he knew of could really fly and that perhaps one of the only ones that he knew of was the terrifying Jabberwock. Regardless though, if he was, he didn't appear to be wanting to cause harm unto the group and that too relieved him.

After he was completely sure, for the most part, that Clara would not once more go into a fit of insanity at the moment he turned his gaze to where the Cheshire Cat had appeared. "I'm not sure I like the sound of that. I think we got lucky this time..." he said quietly and looked now to the group.

Mock Turtle looked to the hare and nodded. "Yes, that is when I change. I sometimes feel it is not so great. When I do not look human and beautiful I feel inadequate. But thank you for your help. I usually take much care to remember when, but I am not quite good at that such thing," she said quietly to the hare. She looked up to the sky as well. Mock realized that she dearly missed the Gryffon. Her close companion was always by her side and made her feel wonderful. Now he was long since gone.

Jabberwock grimaced at the queen and nodded. " Yes ma'am," he asnwered dutifully. Jabber was quite angry that she would consider beheading him. How unfair being that he did all of the work for that blasted woman. Then again he should be happy all he had to do was bring Emily to her. "I'm going to go watch them for now," he answered solemnly. With that the Jabberwock took off and left to watch the group. He quietly left threw his usually exit and flew to find the group. He saw them from a distance and took rest on the top of a jagged cliff. Jabber locked down on them and hoped that Emily would not cross him and go to the Queen as she said.

~

Mock Turtle sighed when the Hare brought up their friends. "Perhaps, but I have looked all over wonderland. Well, as far as I can get. I have never seen them once. Have you tried searching for the mouse?" she asked gently. Mock hadn't really looked overly hard. She looked for a bit then went to the Queen to ask for help where she was cursed to turn on the new moon.
