Powers: She is a necromancer. She can raise the dead and command them, as well as sense when people are going to die or are dead, and can blast out bright green energy of an indeterminate nature. It corrodes, but it doesn't immediately kill.

Personality: Yuuko has a happy-go-lucky personality, though she can be very rational in serious situations. Usually immature, she goofs around a lot while at school and wheres very childish clothing, mostly embarrassing her fellow X-men rather than herself. The one thing that no one knows about, excepting Professor Xavier, is that she has urinary incontinence due to a raid on her hometown, which was full of mutants.

Powers: Cyclops possesses the ability to fire concussive energy from his eyes, though an accident when he was a child left him unable to control, resulting in his need for the ruby visor and glasses.

Personality: A natural-born leader, Scott has a take-charge kind of attitude, though he's always calm, at least on the outside. He has a fun-loving side as well, but it's hidden away by his serious reserve for the most part. He's also quite intelligent, able to see patterns others miss, which makes him a wonderful strategist.

Powers: Alchemy (the transmutation of matter)

Personality: Jacques is a jokester. He's always playing pranks on people with his power, regardless of whether he's in public or not. He's also quite the flirt, able to pull out his accent to great effect. Most people seem to think of him as the opposite of Scott, though he can be serious when the time comes for it. He just prefers having fun.

Power: Amber is an elemental mutant, she has the power to control, the four basic elements. These elements are fire, water, air and earth. It also seems she can make them appear out of nowhere, but it really just her converting molecules in the air, or pulling it from the earth. Her power can be very unstable, at times.
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Personality: Amber can be very shy and somewhat insecure. She's not use to talking with people as she hasn't had many friends. Yet when she does get more sure of her self, she is a spite fire kind of a person. She had no problem taking a stand for what's right, and fighting for what she believes in. She can be a bit emotional, which sometimes is dangerous considering her powers.

Power: His power is telekinesis, allowing him to levitate and manipulate objects and others, generate force fields, fly, and stimulate heat molecules to generate concussive blasts. Not anywhere near the strength of Jean Grey.

Personality: Seth can be very cocky. He can be kind and sweet, when he wants to, but he can come off a bit cold to a lot of people.

Grumbling softly as she scratched at her bare tummy, the hem of her nightshirt laying up under her tiny bosom, Yuuko smacked the snooze button on the alarm. Despite the fact that she had the figure of a small child, Yuuko didn't particularly care what others thought of her. Being childish in attitude and looks was cute, which she would choose over being like every supermodel out there any day.

Under the warm blankets on the chilly autumn morning, Yuuko pressed a hand to her diaper, grimacing slightly as she felt the sodden material. It wasn't that big of a surprise, but it meant that she had to get changed right now. That was never fun; especially not in the fall and winter. It's not like she hadn't woken up wet every day for the past ten years or so anyway though.

Shuffling her way to the door, she made sure it was locked before she grabbed her supplies from her dresser. A pair of Pull-ups, emblazoned with Disney Princesses, flowers, snowflakes, and the color pink, a bottle of strongly scented baby powder, and wipes were set down nearby. Ripping the tapes on the diaper, which was decorated with Minnie and Mickey Mouse, she let it plop to the floor before setting about changing.

Once she was done, and the baby powder cloud had settled, Yuuko stood up, and went over to her dresser to pull out her clothes for the day. Funnily enough, the scent of the baby powder, which hung about her like a shroud, didn't worry her. For the most part, people just assumed it was some sort of perfume she used. For those that didn't, telling them that she had a rash, while pointing at her back did the job of convincing them.

Standing in front of the full body mirror in the room, Yuuko looked herself over, making sure that the bulge from the Pull-ups was unnoticeable underneath the black jeans that were a size too big on her, with their bright pink ribbon cuffs at the bottom. The purple onesie she was wearing, decorated with a cutesy skull and hearts around it helped that out. She had not ideas that people wouldn't notice she was wearing a onesie, but didn't care. The orange hoodie, emblazoned with pumpkins and jak-o-lanterns that would appeal greatly to a toddler, hid most of the evidence concerning the juvenile nature of her clothing.

She left the room, smiling because her secret was still safe, making her way down to the dining room for breakfast.

Watching Yu-yu go by from where he stood outside one of the other student's door, Scott sighed. Why did she insist on dressing so childishly? It just embarrassed everyone who knew her, namely every one of the X-men. Hearing a muttered, "What?" Scott opened the door.

"Time to get up," he announced, closing it just as fast before moving onto the next door. Anytime he asked the Professor, he just got a vague answer that left him with more questions than he started out with. He supposed it didn't really matter, but she treated everyone at the mansion like an older sibling, and it was really hard to get a date when everyone knew that "the Toddler" knew you.

Shaking his head, he knocked on the door. Amber's, if he wasn't mistaken. "Time to get up. Let's go," he ordered, still as emotionless as before as he began moving onto the next door.

Amber had been up for awhile. She sat staring out her window in her black night gown, for most of the morning. She liked getting up early something about watching the sun rise in the morning just calmed her. After she watched that, she went about getting ready for the day. She still found it strange that even though she was a school to teach her to control her powers, she had to go to another school for book learning. It was really a bummer to her. She shook those thoughts away, dwelling on it wouldn't change anything.

She moved to her dresser, and opened the doors looking around for what she would wear today. She had decided to go with her favorite black sweater, it would hang of her shoulders just a bit, and a pair of blue jeans. Normally she would go with her favorite jeans which had a hole in the knee and a patch on it, but she just didn't feel like it today. After changing into that, she couldn't decide whether or not, she wanted to wear her netted gloves. She just grabbed them and stuff them into her pocket. She ran her hair brush through her hair, and then put on her simple sneakers. Her outfit and looked wasn't all that special, but she couldn't help it, unless most of the older students, she didn't even have a car, bike or anything like that. Her family couldn't afford it, and also didn't want her once the mutant gene showed up in her.

Just as Scott was knocking on the door, she was going towards it. She rolled her eyes before stepping out. She wanted to tell Scott, that he didn't need to play babysitter and wake everyone up. He kept babying them, it was no wonder why a certain mutant still acted like she was three. She was half tempted to tell him, that he was acting like a mom again, but she was to shy to say anything.

Seth hated getting up in the morning, he never liked it. The sun was such a bothersome thing early in the day. Yet there was another thing he hated more than getting up, and that was Scott's morning wake up calls. It's not like they were all five or something that needed to be waked up by the guy everything. He would figured Scott would find something better to do. He was still a firm believer that Scott had stick up his butt and really needed to get laid or something. That was besides the point, since Seth had moved here, and after his first Scott wake up. He made a point to get up way before he could considered knocking on his door.

He couldn't let someone like Scott get the best of him. Today, he decide on a simple v neckish cream color long shirt, with his blue jeans. He then took care of his hair. He stop and looked his self over in the mirror making sure he looked good. He put on his shoes, and then left his room. He made sure to walk past Scott. His cocky tude, in full swing. " Still playing mother hen I see" He said with a chuckle, as he kept on his way to breakfast.

Slipping off the counter with the box of cereal in her hands, Yu-yu let out a squeak of victory. It was really hard for the girl to reach up high enough to get to the cupboards, only standing at 4'3". But she had gotten it, and not been caught by Scott, who could be downright scary when he wanted to. Having already gathered the other supplies, she poured herself a bowl of the delicious Fruity Pebbles, and went to the table, shivering slightly as a ghost wrapped itself around her.

"Good morning, Skye," she chirped to the spirit, who was invisible to most. "How are you today?" Ghosts' attraction to her was a part of her powers that she couldn't control at all. They flocked to her! Not that she really minded of course. It was simply that she was getting rather tired of people thinking she was nuts because she talked to things they couldn't see. Despite the negative thoughts flowing through her mind, her electric violet eyes remained cheery.

"It was swell, thank you," the ghost said before swirling away to go haunt one of the poor mutants. It made Yu-yu wonder. Had anyone actually connected her to the hauntings yet? Shrugging it off, she dug into her cereal with aplomb, heedless of the milk running down her chin.

"If people would wake themselves up, I wouldn't have to," he answered plainly, nodding to himself that everyone was, or should be, awake. "We don't need some snoops from the Department of Education coming around here wondering why half the kids who live at this mansion rarely go to school."

While he didn't care that the younger mutants resented the wake-up call, he didn't get it either. The same thing was done in the military, and they were much older and more experienced than these kids, who were a combat force all their own.

As he walked downstairs, he crossed Logan, who's nose was wrinkled in disgust. "Something the matter?" he asked, polite and formal. Usually Logan was in a sour mood, and anything but neutrality could set him off. Heck, sometimes neutrality set him off too.

"The Japanese pipsqueak at the table smells awful as usual," he answered gruffly, as usual. "Smells like death and decay laced with too-strong baby powder." Shaking his head, the large man continued on up the stairs and out of sight. His nose truly was amazing. Everyone could smell the baby powder, but death and decay? Unless it was part of her powers, which were rather creepy in their own right, he had never noticed it.

Shrugging it off, he entered the dining room, leaning casually against the wall, one eye on the clock. He, of course, had already eaten.

Seth rolled his eyes, he didn't care. He walked into the kitchen looking around, before he decided to have an apple. He rolled his eyes at the 16 year old toddler. He then left the room. He knew that soon Scott, would be pushing out everyone out of the place. He really figured the man needed a chill pill or something. He wasn't evil or anything, but he really want Scott to lose his cool a little. It would be refreshing. He shrugged it off, and went and grabbed his school made. He made his way outside to where the older students cars and bikes were parked.

He unlocked his motorcycle, he had brought it from home with him. He put on his helmet started up the bike, and then drove out of the mansion area and to his school.

Amber glanced at Seth and then back at Scott. She listened to him with wonder. She wanted to say that he still didn't have to. He was a teen just like them, and he didn't have to take on so much. He really should let the older adults handle it. Plus many of the students were 16 or older, it was their choice if they wanted to go to the school or not. Yet when he seemed to care about everyone and made sure they got to school. It was something that Amber really liked about it. It was sort of like he was everyone's kind, stern big brother, which she knew was nice for some of the students, who didn't have that.

She headed to the kitchen, needing to grab something to eat. She decided on a simple pop tart. She didn't have many friends here, so unlike a lot of the students, she ended up walking to school more times then she liked. She sighed and headed out the door. She knew soon school work start, she made sure to grab her small old looking back pack. She would get a part time job, but training her powers, doing her school work, and finally joining the X-Men team she didn't have the time for it.

Finishing the fruity milk in her bowl with a slurp, Yuuko grabbed a napkin and wiped her face off before going to brush her teeth. The flavor of bubblegum made her smile as the fluoride left her teeth clean, followed by the mouthwash of similar flavor. Smiling at the mirror to check her teeth, she saw them to her satisfaction and darted out.

Running by the calendar, she paused, the grin slipping from her face to be replaced with uncharacteristic sadness and pain. Tomorrow she wouldn't go to school. It was too important. Shaking her head, she forced the smile back to her visage before leaving. She saw a girl up ahead, and sprinted to catch up. Despite not knowing people very well, or at all, Yu-yu was always willing to talk.

"Hi! Uh, Amber?" she said cheerily, pausing only to remember the quiet girl's name. "How are you?"

Sighing at the noise the youngest girl of their team, at least behaviorally, Scott stood before making his way outside. The ruby glasses glinted in the sunlight, sending a bright nimbus of red around him on the pavement. Jean had his car today, so he'd have to walk. Not that it was that big of a deal.

Maybe when he got back, he'd ask the Professor about Yuuko again, then it probably wouldn't get him anywhere. Hearing a cheery exclamation from behind, he looked over his shoulder, clad in a black jacket. Yuuko and Amber. Though it didn't seem like Amber was responding very much. No surprise there, really. She was extremely shy for some reason.

Shrugging it off, he continued his pace, alert for any threats in the vicinity.

As Amber walked she didn't say much to other students from the school that went past her. She glanced around the area, everything was so pretty here. Even if she felt alone her a lot. She blinked as she heard someone talking to her. She turned to see the toddler. She wanted to sigh or roll her eyes. It wasn't that she hated the girl or anything like that. She just didn't understand her. " Hello, I'm fine, and you?" she said softly.

Amber glanced around again, and her eyes came to rest on Scott. She was surprised to see him walking to school today. Normally he drove that red car of his. She couldn't stop the small smile on her face. Sometimes, she loved watching Scott. She sighed in relief as the school came into view. Since she was a senior she didn't have any class with the girl next to her. She did have class with Scott, and Jean. She never felt more out of place sometimes. It sucked coming to this school at her age.

Seth zoomed passed many of the other students. He pulled up to the school, and parked his motorcycle. He pulled off the helmet, and after getting his keys he headed inside. He looked around and noticed the toddler walking towards the school with that shy girl. He would have felt bad for the girl, but if she spoke up she wouldn't have to deal with it. Though he wouldn't mention that sometimes, Yuuko could be endearing, but he didn't go for the whole looks and act like a five year old. He didn't want a super model, but dressing her age would be a start.

Sensing something in Amber's response, Yuuko grimaced. It was quite obvious that she'd rather be anywhere other than where she was. How could it be that ghosts were far more accepting of people than living, breathing humans? She just shook her head before she answered. "I can tell you don't want to be around me, and I know why, so I'll just leave you alone," she said, voice cool and crisp.

Ghosts would be better company. And with that thought, Yu-yu gathered her power in her palm, casting an eerie glow as the light spilled out. It was a simple beacon that would request ghosts to come to her and stay for a bit. It wouldn't force them, just ask. Chances are, most ghosts would come. They certainly enjoyed being able to talk to a living person.

As if on cue, the air turned colder, and several specters arrived, flitting along the ground quite speedily to wrap around her arms and legs. Not constrictive of course, but any idiot would notice that something had changed, even if they couldn't see the ghosts. A little bit more of her power to send the telepathic link, and she could talk to them through her mind. There were four: Sam, Maggie, Luci, and Ben. And they were all happy to see her. They didn't care about what she wore or anything. It didn't matter to them, and that was refreshing because while she didn't care, it still hurt.

Talking to them mentally about all sorts of things, from politics to football to what her favorite season was, Yu-yu completely blocked Amber from her perception, not even really realizing it when she sat down in class. Her eyes were dim, all of her focus on the ghosts.

For some reason this morning, Yuuko was the focus of all of Scott's thoughts. The last time he had asked the Professor for an explanation, he had given him vague answer. He could remember it clearly:

"Why do you insist on asking, Scott?" the Professor asked from his wheel-chair, the voice of compassion and kindness spilling out of his mouth.

"I don't know. I guess I'm just worried about her, and, maybe a little embarrassed," he responded, feeling the heat that rose to his cheeks.

"It's her secret," he continued, nodding as if Scott's admission had already been known. "On October thirty-first, try asking her. She may just open up a bit and tell you."

And with that, he had been dismissed. Though the thirty-first was this Saturday; tomorrow in fact. Maybe if he followed her around, he'd find out? It was worth a try.

Suddenly turning to Amber, aware that Yu-yu was gone, he spoke. "Would you like to help me figure out why Yuuko's the way she is? If we follow her around tomorrow, maybe we'll be able to figure it out." Usually, he wouldn't have asked for help, but her ability to control the elements would be very useful for hiding. Piles of rocks to hide behind, wind to hide their noise, and water to wash away tracks. She was like the perfect stealth team.

Seth blinked in surprised as the girl he had been thinking about went past him. She seemed so unfocused, it was rather odd. He was use to being addressed by her. Yuuko was so friendly to everyone. Even though no one deserved it, as everyone said mean things about her behind her back, and was rather cruel. While he was one who wanted her to grow up a little, he never dissed her behind her back. Sure he may be a jerk half the time, but there had to be a reason, she acted that way, and he had no right to judge. Plus, he knew Scott did it all the time, and he was so much better than Scott. He shook his thoughts away and headed to class, hoping Yuuko would snap out of whatever daze she was in.

Amber turned to look at Yuuko a bit surprised, she had never heard the girl speak to her or anyone like that. " Uh-" She tried to say. Yet Yuuko just kept walking away. Amber felt kind of bad. She knew she had no right to be mean to Yuuko that way. She sighed, she really wasn't all that good with people. Amber suddenly lost that train of thought as Scott turned around and started speaking to her. She felt heat rise to her cheeks. She didn't know what to say, he actually wanted her help. Scott barely talked to her, and know he wanted her to help, she was amazed.

She figured he would was Jean or someone like that. " I...um.." She started to say all the while her face turning a bright red. She felt so stupid, she really needed to talk to more people. She took a deep breath before trying to speak again. " Sure thing" She said with a bright pretty smile.

"Are we allowed to haunt some people?" the ghosts asked towards the middle of the period. They were obviously growing restless, having talked for around twenty-five minutes.

"Sure, just not anything too serious," she responded, shuddering as the ghosts fled her body while breaking the psychic link. As they passed through the room, she saw several other kids shiver. Obviously it was because they had sensed the presence of the ghosts, even if they couldn't actually see them. Immediately, her eyes had grown clearer and brighter. Despite this, she remained quiet and seemingly depressed. Several other students, and even the teacher for that matter, glanced at her curiously every so often. The question in their eyes was obvious: What's wrong with her?

"Good," he said, walking into class. "We'll need to follow her around tomorrow. It's a special day for her or something, so we might get some answers." And then he sat in his desk and opened his textbook as ordered by the stocky, old math teacher. Calculus was truly a test of torture.

About half-way through the class, he felt a chill seem to pass through the room, and could just see the faintest outline of a misty shape due to his glasses. Shrugging it off as a half-asleep induced hallucination, he wasn't prepared when he suddenly heard a hissing sound, followed by an awful stench. Natural gas. Immediately, the teacher started ushering the kids out the door, warning them to be careful about making a spark.

Once they were all outside, it turned out that they had occurred over the entire school, the teachers told them to go ahead and head home. Everyone started cheering, except for Yuuko, who seemed to be having a very angry coversation with someone.

Amber nodded," Just let me know when you want to start tomorrow" She said softly. She then moved over to her desk, and pulled out the textbook. She was glad that she sat behind Scott, because it would give her a chance to think things over. She was still shocked about this, she had never expected this. Sure he mostly choose her cause Jean was busy and her powers were really useful, but it was nice. Yet she decide she couldn't dwell on it anymore, or she would get to hopeful.

About half-way through the class, Amber felt sudden chills. Amber glanced around wondering why, she blinked as she thought she saw someone floating through the room. She blinked, and it was gone, she shrugged it off as her going crazy. That was really odd to her. Yet seconds later she heard the sound of hissing. Soon she smelt something horrible. She knew it was the smell of gas, and the moment the teacher wanted them out, Amber was out the door with her stuff. She knew with her powers, that it was very dangerous for her to be in the building, knowing her luck she would cause the place to blow up. As she stood outside, she looked rather paled, as she was still scared out of her mind. All she could think about was what if that was the moment she lost control or something.

Seth was surprised, as he stood outside. He was in a different class from Scott or Yuuko, as he was a junior, and Scott was in the higher grade while Yuuko was in the lower. So he wasn't sure what was going on, but he knew something had happened. He knew that in one of the science classes, the room had started to leak gas. So they were being sent home, he glanced around, and most students looked over joyed.

Scott just looked curious, Amber looked pale white and scared out of her mind, and Yuuko looked very upset. He didn't care about the first too, but he did wonder about Yuuko. He knew he wanted to ask her before Scott tried to intervene. He walked over to Scott, " You might, wanna deal with little red over there, before something happens" Seth said referring to Amber. He then left Scott, there and went over to Yuuko. " Hey are you alright? You look pretty upset, something happen?" He asked her nicely.

Having successfully yelled at the ghosts, Yuuko took a deep breath to calm herself. She had told them nothing major, and she supposed it was her fault for not making it completely clear that possessing drills and creating holes in the gas lines was a major thing. Regardless, it was done, and they would be forced to go home while the school called in professionals to fix the leaks. One thousand, seven hundred, fifty-two of them! How on earth they accomplished that in thirty minutes was beyond her.

Hearing Seth's voice behind her, she jumped, whirling around with a hand clutching her heart. When she saw that it was only Seth, she took a deep breath, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "You scared the bejeebus out of me," she muttered. "I'm fine though. Just a little worried is all."

Having made sure that all of the Brotherhood mutants were also out of the building, Scott relaxed. It couldn't have been them. They were just as anxious and surprised as everyone else. That's when Seth spoke to him. Calmly looking over to the red-headed girl Seth had mentioned. Amber. Her elemental powers could cause something to happen, so it wasn't all that unlikely that if she lost control, something would blow up.

Frowning, for he really wasn't good at this kind of thing, he made his over to her, carefully dodging exuberant students. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, standing next to her, his body tense. "Out here the gas will expand, so it won't be able to blow up. You don't have to worry about your powers doing that unless you go back inside."

Seth chuckled a bit at her started look. " Sorry didn't mean to scare you. " He said. He waited for her to stop speaking. " Ah I see, well there nothing to worry about. Everyone is all right, and nothing major happened. Everyone got out safe, and it will soon be repaired. " He said giving her a charming smile. He knew having a day of from school would be a great thing if they were normal students. Yet knew Scott would decide to use this day as some sort of training. He hoped, that maybe this might be the one day, they'd get to enjoy a day off like everyone else.

He looked down at Yuuko watching her, really worried if she was ok as she said.

Amber turned to look at the person talking to her. She noticed it was Scott. She listened to the words carefully. She knew that, she was just still scared. She nodded," I'm fine, just scared. I know, it's just that was a really close call. Do you know what cause all of the gas to leak?" She asked him. It wasn't her sure knew that, normally things like these could be link to her powers. At her old school she got mad one day and pipes busted apart. Yet this time she had been calm focused on the lesson. That's another she was worried. She had to hope that her powers were expanding.

She then started to wonder what the rest of the day would be about. Would they actually get to relax today, or if they would have to some lesson today. She was still very scared about all that had happened.

"It's fine," Yuuko responded, smiling brightly. "I know everyone's alright, but I know who did it, and that makes me feel a little guilty." That's what she was worried about. While no one at the mansion, save Xavier of course, knew everything about her powers, she could still be blamed for it. After all, hadn't she basically gave them permission to do it?

She happened to know that Scott would only have them do a thirty-minute power exercise tonight. The ghosts seemed to know a lot about the future. When she had looked it up, she had learned about Necromancy, which was basically fortune-telling from the dead in ancient Greece. So maybe the ghosts did get a little bit of future-seeing when they died. It was still nifty.

"No, I don't know what caused it," he said, thinking back to the misty outline. "But I think I someone who might." He certainly didn't want to point fingers, but with the way Yuuko was acting, she was a prime suspect. At the very least, she probably knew who had done it, even if she hadn't.

"Come on, let's go home," he said, smiling before turning to start walking away. "I only want to do a quick thirty-minute training session tonight, and the sooner the better." He knew that most of the students would be angry with him over that, but, Logan would be angry with him if he let them slack, and, of the two, Logan was the scarier.

" Oh I see. Well I don't think they meant to" She mused softly. She smiled slightly, talking with Scott had helped ease her fears a little bit. She tugged at her hair a bit, feeling nervous all of the sudden. She wondered if he was going to speak again or just walk off somewhere.

She nodded when he spoke one more, and started to follow after him. Amber had to pout at his next comment. " Do we have to?" She asked. Even then she knew the answer. " I know, we do." She mumbled afterwards. She really didn't want to, as she was still nervous about the whole event.

" There is no reason for you to feel guilty, if you your self in your body didn't do it, it's not your fault. Even then, I don't think you meant for anything to happen. If anything it was a pure accident." Seth told her with a smile. Seth shrugged, " Anyways, don't worry about it" He said with his charming his smile.

He shrugged," Come one let's head home. Knowing Scott and the other teachers they are going to want us to do some time of training today." He said. He started walking but making sure to wait for Yuuko.

"I suppose you're right," Yuuko mumbled, following Seth hesitantly. Despite his words of comfort, she still felt responsible. "Yeah, he will have us do a drill tonight, but it won't be very long." She smiled as she said that. A lot of the X-men resented their training, but Yu-yu loved it. What better way to see how you were progressing with your powers?

Finally arriving at the mansion, Yuuko dashed inside, running down to the sub-basement before the others. They truly detested the whole floor, simply because it was where they were required to do work. It was kind of amusing.

Only nodding to Amber's question, Scott began walking back, hands thrust into his pockets as usual. The ruby glasses gave the light they reflected a red tint, bathing the sidewalk in a pinkish light. His visor was made of the same ruby, but it was much sturdier than his glasses.

Making his way to the sub-basement, he only nodded at Yuuko, who was there first, as usual. He honestly didn't think that such a thing as hatred existed in her tiny body. That may just be her childish demeanor though.

Amber was a force of mystery though. Her shyness let off this air that made a person curious. It wasn't menacing, or even negative, it just was. He knew from interaction that his own air was one of cold indifference, but that was okay with him. Better that than the violent temperament of Logan.

Seth looked her here," What do you mean by that?" He asked. Yet she never answered, he had to figure she didn't hear him. He gathered it wasn't a big deal. He made back to the school and went and changed into his uniform. It was just a fairly simple one, it looked like Jean's outfit but the green part was more of a dark blue. Of course he changed in the locker room like area in the underground part of the building where all the training took place.

He soon joined Scott, and Yuuko in waiting. He had wonder why all the students were taking their sweet time getting here. The faster they got her, the faster the training would be done for the day.

Once back at their home, each went their own way to change and meet up or near the danger room. Amber just hoped that today's training wouldn't be to hectic. She went into the locker room ignoring the other girls their who were changing. They were all chatting and being a bit slow about things. Others were complaining about having to train really loudly. Amber grabbed her outfit and changed. Hers wasn't like the standard newbie outfit. She had been told Storm had picked hers out, and her's did looks like Storm's outfit, but without the cape, and the color part was red.

She had found that odd, but Storm had told her it would be best for her powers, and when she took to the air, using the wind element. She knew some of the girls were upset by her custom outfit, since most of them just had the newbie outfits. They wanted custom outfits like her, Rouge, Kitty, and the other X-Men team. Amber made her way into where the others were.

Dressed in her black leather overcoat and trousers, Yuuko fiddled with a bright green stone that seemed to radiate a presence of its own. It was all to improve the conductivity of her power. For some reason synthetic clothing and rubber pretty much ruined her power's efficiency. The more of it, the worse it was. The stone acted like a focus though, improving her control and power for some reason. She used it mainly to expand her power. She didn't need it so much after she mastered a new trick.

A lot of kids weren't happy that she got to go around in leather, whereas they were forced to wear those tight-fitting uniforms. She couldn't help that leather was the best conductor for her power though. To her theorizing, it had something to do with the fact that leather was made from dead animals. That might not be true, but it was the best answer she had.

Looping the chain holding the green gem around her hand, Yu-yu grasped it firmly and focused. A sickly green aura lit up the small area around her as the energy became visible. In short order, the glow had diminished, and a short-sword was in her hand, the gem being the hilt.

Then she jogged over to the melee area, beginning to go through her forms at the targets. In a few minutes, her body was screaming in protest, but she persevered. This was the hardest part. Usually, she just controlled undead bodies. She could command about a thousand right now, and that number grew with every practice. No, channeling the energy through her body was the most taxing, as she had only just started with it. But still she went on, sweat flying with every swing.

Having changed into his usual uniform, Scott stood impassively against the wall, waiting for the rest of the students to trickle in. Punctuality was certainly a good thing, but it seemed that a lot of teenagers lacked it. Logan could scare that out of them though. And he would. Scott shuddered just thinking about it. Yuuko was dressed in her leather outfit, as usual, and Seth was standing nearby in his.

"Okay guys!" he called out when everyone had finally arrived. "Let's get this started! Just a simple training drill tonight. Sunday we'll do the combat exercise. You know what to do. Ranged guys, head over to the target area; melee to the ring; and psychics to your respective stations." Personally, he was one of the ranged, so he made his way over to the practice area. In minutes, he was blasting targets with powerful bursts of energy, adjusting as necessary to the commands from the computer. Incapacitation meant that he fired a low powered blast, while more dangerous 'foes' required stronger optic blasts meant to kill.

Dressed in his typical blue uniform, Jacques skidded into the room, last as usual. He had been pulling a prank on Amber, one that she would find when she went back upstairs to her room. He snickered just thinking about it. He had turned her entire room into pyrite, or fool's gold. Chances are, she would think it was actual gold and be happy, until someone told her that it was absolutely worthless of course.

He ignored Scott's pointed look, instead just practicing. His alchemy could move matter a bit, but it was really hard. Much easier to just alter the air molecules. Regardless, he needed a huge mass to practice on, so he squared his shoulders, bent down, and exerted his will on the ground in front of him. With a groan, it rose into the air: 8,000 cubic feet of concrete.

Then he sat back, panting his heart out. Instantly, the air solidified into a cup that quickly filled with water. It was gone in a few seconds, having been chugged by the thirsty teen. It was certainly taxing.

He cracked his knuckles, and set back to work. In his mind's eye, he could see the atoms that made up the structure in front of him. It was so easy. First off, they needed to be changed to carbon. Time passed, and, as it did, there was a change in the structure. It was growing black. And, finally, the entire thing was the same substance: carbon. Then he went about changing the bonds between the atoms. They were too weak right now. Graphite and diamond only had one difference after all, and that was the strength of the chemical bond.

Slowly, the structure cleared, growing blindingly white as he worked. The bonds were just being rearranged. But it was turning pencil lead into the hardest substance on earth. And finally, he was done. He dropped to his knees then, sweat dripping from him like a waterfall as he caught his breath. His power was growing though. Last week, he had only been able to do 6,000 cubic feet.

Seth just nodded and went over to his station. His station had him moving objects. He would move some to certain targets, but it was more focused on him moving walls, and things like that. This training would come in handy when having to sneak into buildings and stuff like that. He cracked his knuckles, and started to get to work. He start with simple things like moving boxes and smaller things like that. He end sent certain weapons into many targets that were very far away from him. They were like at the end of the room, and he made sure to avoid everyone in the room.

After that he started on bigger items, such as bigger chunks of wall. For him this was a bit harder and much more of workout. He was still learning how to do this, he manged to move one, but ended up standing looking worn out. He was panting and sweating, he wasn't bad at using his powers, he just over worked his self sometimes.

Amber nodded, she was still very nervous about this whole session. She hated using her powers, she lost control so easy. She moved over to the part of the target area for her. She had part of the room, she stood on one said, while the targets were all at other end. They were trying to get her to use her different elements over long ranges. She also was expected to try and use each one, and she hated doing that. She took deep breaths starting to calm down. Once she felt better, she started with water.

It was always easy for her to pull water from the air, and then use it. She focused and soon she had water in her control. She then sent the water across to attack the targets. Some she just soaked others she used to cut it down. After doing that for a bit, she decided to change to using earth powers. She would move the rocks and knock them into the the targets, and she would some bigger rocks to know down the targets completely.

After that she moved to air, slicing down targets that where set up for this power. She did this for a while hoping she could avoiding using her fire power, she hated using it, and she was around to any people it scared her.

Thirty minutes later, Scott stepped away from the range. "Okay guys!" he called out, causing everyone to look over to him. "We're done for the night. Next session will be on Sunday!" The kids kind of whooped as they left, glad that they'd get Halloween off.

"Great job tonight, guys," Scott said as he walked over to Amber. They had done a great job, and hadn't slacked. He had noticed Amber didn't get to use her fire, but he also understood the anxiety of using such strong powers around others, especially when you can't completely control them. "How are you feeling?" he asked Amber, handing her a water bottle. His powers didn't require so much effort anymore, but he was still sweating.

"So... What do you want to do for the rest of the night?" he asked.

Stripping the leather clothes off in the locker room, Yuuko looked around carefully before darting out and grabbing her regular clothes. As it was, she changed in the stall, but she was terrified of anyone seeing her in a Pull-up, regardless of whether it was wet, like the one she wearing, or dry. The humiliation would be unbearable.

Now dressed in her usual clothes, Yu-yu made her way upstairs and into her room, where she took them off again and threw them into the hamper. Then she went about changing her sodden undergarment. The wipes and powder left their usual fragrance on her, which she quite enjoyed. It was such a pleasant scent. And even better for the smell of the Pull-up added in, which felt like a pillow hugging her bottom.

Once changed into the pink and white, Disney Princess decorated undergarment, Yu-yu pulled up a pair of cotton pajama bottoms. They were pastel yellow and decorated with bees, a perfect match for the cotton top. The top had one big bee in the middle. All of this was followed by a pacifier clipped to her waistband and shoved into her pocket. The mouthguard was a bee, matching the rest of her outfit. The only reason she needed it though was because she ground her teeth in her sleep, and it was either an expensive mouth piece, or a cheap pacifier.

Fully dressed for comfort, Yuuko hopped into her bed with a book, pulling tte pacifier out and popping it into her mouth. The thing had a soothing quality about it.

Grinning widely at Scott's dismissal, Jacques reverted the concrete to air before sprinting to the locker room to change. As usual, it was full of guys getting showers, and whipping each other with towels. He just ignored the mayhem, and changed before darting up and into the rec room and starting up the PS3.

He popped in Call of Duty and got ready to play, aware that the room would be crowded in a bit. True enough, the room was full in a few minutes. Kids were playing pool, watching tv, reading, or playing Call of Duty with him. It was certainly the makings of a good time.

Amber was glad that mere moments later Scott, had called an end to the training. She stood there breathing heavily. She really didn't want to go to the locker room. She knew all the girls would be in there, so she liked to wait till all of them were gone. Amber turned and noticed Scott, she gave him a small smile. She took the water bottle, and uncapped it. " Thanks" She said before starting to drink it. She took a few gulps and swallowed before answering him. " I'm alright." She said..

She watched him and titled her head slightly. She felt a blush rising to her cheeks. " I'm not sure, I'd my homework, but with todays events there is none to do. What about you?" She asked him. She figured he'd want to plan out following Yuuko tomorrow, and then go see Jean or something like that.

Seth was glad that Scott decided to dismiss them. He was one of the first people out of the room, and into a shower. Once he was done and dressed, he headed back to the room. He made to that he was presentable, before heading to the main room. He decide to play pool with a few of the other students.

"That's good," he said, feeling generally relieved that Amber hadn't taxed herself too far, or gotten hurt. She was a pretty great person. Once you got past the shyness, that is. Shrugging, he took a swig of his own water, wiping his forehead with a towel. Having half of the school day off left them with a lot of free time.

"Do you want to go watch a movie?" he asked, looking at he with a raised eyebrow. "I'll let you pick." That would help time pass before they went to bed, and started their espionage tomorrow. Not to mention it would be nice to get to know his teammate know that she had actually opened up. It definitely put her in a different light.

Amber smiled and nodded, before finishing up her water. She wiped off her forehead. She waited for him to answer or say something else. She blinked in surprised as he mention watching a movie. She'd love to do that, but she had figured he would have plans with Jean. So she was tempted to decline thinking he was just being nice. Yet she decided that she would say yes, because she did want to spend time with her.

She smiled brightly," Sure, I'd love to watch a movie" Amber said with a big smile. Amber and Scott after each changing headed to the movie room, where true to his word, he let her pick the movie. She decide to go with Inception, she would have picked something more girly, but there was no reason to torture the poor guy. She had a great night watching the movie with him. She even found her self chatting with him a lot more than she would with anyone else. She had opened up to him a lot during that evening. She eventually had gone back to her room, and went to bed. She woke up sometime around 10 am, she was very glad that it was the weekend. As much a she wanted to sleep in she knew she had to get up cause she had agreed to meet Scott and help him tail after Yuuko.

Stretching and reflecting on how much he had enjoyed his night with Amber, Scott sat in the kitchen studying Physics. Or so it seemed. In actuality, he was watching Yuuko flit around. It was ten-thirty, so Amber would probably be by soon, but Yuuko was already acting... strange. At least for her. She was a lot more somber than usual.

To him, it looked like she was preparing a lunch, Japanese style. Rice balls, curry, and ramen were made with what appeared to be the utmost precision. She really was taking this seriously. But why?

Having woken up at six in the morning, like she did every day, Yuuko had quickly changed her sodden undergarment before dressing in her usual attire, which is to say an orange onesie, black sweatpants, orange ruffly socks, and her Dora the Explorer velcro sneakers. Then she darted downstairs to eat breakfast and start making lunch, all while humming a simple tune reserved for this special day, at least until Scott came in.

The meal she prepared was the same as always, but still crafted with a precision that would make a brain surgeon look clumsy. Her curry needed just the right seasoning for the sauce, while the rice had to have the perfect texture. The same went for the rest of the meal. It was truly a delicious looking meal. But the final piece was a slice of strawberry shortcake, her favorite, with a candle on top.

Done by eleven o' clock, as always on this day, Yuuko slipped outside and into the garden, making sure no one saw her pass through, and carrying the lunch.
