For all those random events that Ginkaida and I want to roleplay out aside from the main story. Little Ciara, Eric's memories, Horatio events and whatever else we so choose.

Ciara Age 5. The beginning


Ciara awoke from what seemed like a long time. Her eyes were heavy and her body ached. "mmm..muffins and tiger bunnies..." She mumbled, rolling onto her side. She opened her eyes, the long room with several beds did not look familiar to her at all.

"Good morning" A bald man sat in a chair next to her bed, he had a large book in his hands but he closed it as he saw her waking up. "How do you feel?"

She sat up when she heard the voice. She looked at him cautiously, holding the sheets protectively to her chest. "...good." She mouthed, edging toward the other side of the bed.

"It's alright my dear" Charles set the book aside, "You're safe now. No one's going to harm you here. My name is charles Xavier and you're in my home."

She nodded, acknowledging what he was saying but still no really opening up to him. She slipped out of the bed, on the other side, never taking her eyes off of Charles. She was very small, about 3 ft or less. Slowly, she edged along the side of the bed, looking for the exit out of the corner of her eye.

"If you want to leave, you are free to, I merely ask that you hear me out first" Charles requested, "oh, and I'm not sure if you like candy but I happen to have some that I can't seem to finish off myself" he pulled out a lollipop

Her eyes locked onto the colourful piece circle on a stick. She edged her way back to near the top of bed and raised her hand up for the candy; still on the other side of the bed. "Candy."

Charles handed it to her, "Have a seat. I'm just here to help. You gave us quite a scare back there you know."

She crawled back up on the bed, after eyeing him once more and popped the candy in her mouth. Her face lit up for a moment as she felt the sweet goodness that was the candy in her mouth. Then she remembered she wasn't alone. 'Back there...' She thought and a wave of tin bits of memories shot through her head.

She grabbed her head and screamed, several water pipes bursting in the wall.

"Woah" Charles startled, he reached out and took her hand, "hey, it's okay, it's over" he urged, trying to calm her down, "you're safe here"

'Daddy...Daddy..I want Daddy!' She thought, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks and then float around the room.
She pushed Charles away, physically forcing his body up against a wall.

She slipped out of the bed and rushed out of the room. She had to run. Had to find him. Had to.. Pipes and water were everywhere.

"Woah!" As she rounded a corner Ciara ran straight into a strong looking man with glasses and a lab coat, "Where's the fire?"

She bumped backward and looked up at the man. Her eyes didn't really look at Hank but more the lab coat. "No white... no white!" She screamed, water rushing out of every place it could find to come out of. She stumbled backwards and quickly crawled/floated up and out an open window and into the court yard below. She was terrified beyond belief.

Hank blinked and yelped as he was washed away. As Ciara fled to the courtyard another man approached, this one was hovering in mid air and made sure to keep a decent distance. His hair was dark grey and he wore a simple red shirt with jeans, although his boots were clearly custom made.
His arms were folded behind his back and he lowered to Ciara's level, "Excuse me" he called to her gently, "but I think you dropped this" he revealed a stuffed stingray plushie from behind his back. Slowly he let go of it and it actually floated there as well, it glided around through the air as though swimming through water and began circling Ciara as though wishing to play.

As she watched her stuffed toy glide through the air, she started to calm down. Her breathing becoming less shallow and her expression relaxing.

On one of the circles around her, she reached out quickly and took hold of the toy, "Ray..." She mumbled softly, giving it a big squeeze. She looked up at the tall man and her eyes began to tear up.

Quickly she launched herself forward, wrapping her arms around him, holding on for dear life. The chaos of the water filled mansion died down as soon as she latched on to him.

Eric hugged her back, picking ciara up in his arms, "There we go" he hushed and rocked her back and forth, "You're just fine see? My name's Eric, and if anything happens around here that you don't like you just tell me and I'll make it all go away, got it?"

She wiped a few tears from her rosy red cheeks and nodded. "G-got it." She snuggled into his shoulder, holding the stuffie tightly in her arms.

"Good girl" Eric smiled and cradled her as he turned and headed back inside, "Now, I believe my friend made up a room for you if you like to see it. I doubt it's anything special..."

She nodded slowly. "Juice first?" She asked shyly.

"But of course!" Eric smiled and carried her off to the kitchen for some apple juice.

A can and a half later. "Mmmm. Yummy." She said happily, putting her cup down on the table. "Done."

"My you're a thirsty one" Hank commented as he stepped into the kitchen, he had removed his lab coat this time.

"Hank, there you are" Eric greeted him, "I'd like you to meet someone"

Ciara looked up and quickly hid behind Eric, holding lightly to his pant leg. She looked shyly, hiding really because it was a new person.

"Hey now, it's okay" Eric assured as he looked down at her, "This is my friend Hank McCoy. Don't worry, he's a big softy"
