"uhh, right, perfect" Dean took the list, "I mean, well, not perfect obviously but uh, it's good to know what's going on... so we can help her" he cleared his throat, "Cas, why don't you take her back to the car and we'll all grab a bite to eat"

Cas nodded and went to retrieve the girl.

"Castiel. That was unpleasant. May we not do this again?" She grumbled.

Sam laughed, "We didn't bring you here for fun!"

Dean nodded to the doctor and made a quick retreat with the others. The four of them hit up the nearest restaurant. Cas and Dean agreed on a burger and fries to feed their new guest.
"Eat. You will feel better" Cas encouraged.

She picks up a fry, and slowly eats it. "This tastes... Interesting?"

Sam laughed, "You'll want to eat a little faster! Here, try some ketchup." He squirts a fair amount on her plate.

"Thank you..." She looks at it confused.

"It is called a condiment" Castiel explained, "you add it to things and it makes them taste better. Well, sometimes." he leaned in a little, "Do not add Ketchup to yogurt"

Dean made a face and put down his burger.

"Alright, sure," She increases her eating pace, dipping her fries in the ketchup. When they're done she picks up the burger and dips it as well. "I like this, it has a variety of flavours... But why is it so messy?" She asks as it drips down her chin. The burger itself is worse for wear. She manages to have the bun slide up as she eats, leaving her holding the patty.

Dean's expression was one of pure tragedy, "You're murdering it!" he complained, "and there's ketchup on the burger, you don't have to dip it." he shook his head, "I can't watch this anymore, I'll catch you guys outside" he stood and walked out.

Cas blinked but shrugged a little, "He really likes food" he explained

She blinks, "I do not understand what I did wrong. I apologise."

"It is alright" Cas assured, "We should finish eating. It will be soon enough that we will have to do so again and there is much to do before then."

"Again? How often must I do this?!" She exclaims, "What else are we to do?" She seems excited at the thought of work.

She quickly finishes her meal, and smiles up at Castiel.

"As I understand it, Humans eat about three meals a day" Castiel explained, "Morning, noon and evening. As for what we must do, it is simple. All of our brothers and sisters have fallen to earth, we must find them and assure that are well. Many like you will not know what to do when they find themselves here."

"We may encounter problems assisting the others," She worries her lip, "I suppose it is a good thing that you found me first, Castiel. A lot of angels hold some resentment towards you. I, at least, am neutral."

Sam laughs, "I'm sure we can handle a couple of emancipated ex-angels, girl!" Sam takes a look at her, "What /is/ your name?"

Her dark brown, almost black eyes look up at Sam. Set in dark tanned skin, she has the "vessel" of a small Egyptian woman.

"I am night."

"... um... okay. Night then." Sam looks a little confused, "To be honest, I expected something a little more... angelic."

"You may call me Lailah, then, if you wish. Is that "angelic" enough? Although, it is only "night" in Hebrew."

"Lailah" Castiel faced her, "I know that there are many who are against me, as well as there are many who have been on my side. However, I desire to help all my brothers and sisters, regardless of their feelings towards me. It is imperative that we join together and find a way to coexist once more. Only then will Metatron let us back in."

Lailah's face flushes, "Of course! I did not mean to imply that I'm unwilling to help, I just hope that things go smoothly. I miss my job, Castiel. Do you really think that if we get all the angels together, we may be able to get back into Heaven?" She looks up at him hopefully.

"I was with Metatron when he did this" Castiel admitted, "he desires to see our squabbling come to an end. At first he told me that the spell would trap all the angels on heaven, so that our battles would not cause so much havoc here below. Obviously I was mislead."

"... you were?" She looks worried. "Will he come back after you? How is it that he is allowed to stay up there, while all of us where brought down?"

"Metatron has been separated from the others for a very long time" Castiel sighed, "and he knows the word of God. He must know of ways around the spell"

"If it is written... would we not be able to find these ways as well? Or perhaps new ways..." Lailah seems to go on a bit of a tangent, before she interrupts herself, "Although, we should most defiantly get the other angels as well. How are we to find them?"

She finishes eating, and looks at the two men remaining expectantly.

Sam shrugs, "Perhaps... well, we can at least look up stuff like that in the library. How are you at research, Cas?"

"I have never had much need for libraries" Cas admitted, "I've always been more of one of God's warriors."

"That's cool" Dean commented, "me to. So I say you and I stick with the more, verbal type of research. Check out the local institutions of spoken knowledge"

She tilts her head, "Where?"

Sam laughs,"The bars. If you wanted an excuse to go and hit up the ladies Dean, you could have just asked. Dragging Cas along now too? All kinds of kinky"

"Dude, seriously?" Dean looked at his brother, "It's called a wing man, you don't do the.. .the doing with the guy! That's just wrong" Dean shook his head and turned to leave.

Cas blinked and began to follow, "I no longer have wings Dean"

"You don't need wings to be a wing man" Dean tried to explain as they headed out.
