Since my kitty was named by me and my bros when we were very young, she has an odd name. Striper isn't even a word.

Oh wow! Cats are durable critters! at work we had a 20 year old cat come in and I was like wtf he looks 11!

My older doggies are 16 and one of them looks like she's got 3 years, the other, maybe 2? But idk, it's something we try not to think about, ya know?

Most of our cats have lived until about twenty. Must be something in the water.

That's great that they lived long happy lives~
Our first dog passed rather young due to eating a frog. Out of her four puppies, we have two left. One passed at 8 due to a tumor, but he passed peacefully outside with the other dogies.
One puppy was given to a family and so we are not sure about her condition, but they were good people and she may be alive and well~
We have the remaining two puppies who are the 16 year olds. We have another dog too, Puppy who is 11~

Sure, when pets pass, it's hard and very sad, but I don't think i could go too long without a furry companion.

Creaky old animals are the best. We have two ancient cats right now, one 17 and one almost 18. The 18yo is my baby; she's had all of her thyroid removed and we keep having health scares, but she's still her usual grumpy self.
At the clinic where I work, the last kennel cat made it to 23 confirmed. We think she was a year or two older, but we only had health records back that far.

Yes, old pets, well at least mine, just seem to want to forever cuddle. One of mine, Max, has also given us health scares. he passed a kidney stone last year and he looked like he was on the verge of death, but we gave him cranberry juice which helped! :D

Oh man, kidney stones suck in males. Special diets can help, but that's not fun. Glad he's okay!

Thank you, and yeah, he gave us a scare but thankfully he only passed one and hasnt passed anymore. He eats hard food soaked in chicken stock to make it easier to chew, and he is doing great! He's just always sleeping now~

;D I see we are talking about pets! Among my four dogs only two like to be on the bed with me and one of which is my Yorkie who likes to walk all over my laptop and lay on my chest >_<

LOL I know what you mean! That's why my huskies are either on my floor in my bedroom or outside in the backyard. My second dog that likes to be on the bed is a schnoodle

Yes, my dogs have spent all their lives outside, but due to their old ages, two have retired to living in the house

asdf. I love my dog. I wouldn't want to have an outside dog tho 'cause I WANT TO CUDDLE ALL THE DOGS ALWAYS and if they get outside and roll in everything that would be inconvenient.

Haha, I like both, but I do love outside dogs because WRESTLING THEM IS THE BEST

Dirty or not I will cuddle my doggies! Unless it's my puppy husky who has yet to learn to be potty trained and rolls around in.. um.. yeah <_< That's the only time I will not cuddle with my animals lol
