He scoffed lightly when the other mentioned his wound. It was nothing. Nothing he couldn't handle and certainly nothing that would stop him if this man wanted to fight. Which it seemed like he did. Crim's feet shifted slightly, taking a more defensive stance, his eyes blazed, like twin suns. Excitement in them but no fear. Crim did not fear pain or death, the only thing he feared was failing to keep Axelia alive, though his death would prevent him from protecting her. He grit his teeth.

Crim didn't offer a retort when the other told him he had better make this fun. He would make it intense, but in his opinion, battles usually weren't fun. Then the other was ripping up the lamp post. Definitely not a normal human. Crim's katana came unsheathed, he held it defensively in front of him. As if he would fend off that large lamp post with just his sword. Though other than that, Crim didn't move until the last moment. He jumped over the lamp post, raising his sword to point the tip of it at his opponent. "Are you with the union?" He felt he already knew the answer, but Crim couldn't just ruthlessly attack this person without being certain.

Right as Cain ever closer toward the red-haired male only to swing the large lamppost toward him, the instant feeling of the object making contact with something had caused him to turn his gaze toward the steel blade that touched the metal pole itself. So even with the blood he had seen on this male's hand, he was still strong enough to hold back against Cain's current strength. That was good, very good, that at least meant that the man still had much more energy then he seemed to have from just his looks after-all.

Right before he could even react to give a second attack to follow, the sudden quick change in weight against the lamppost had caused Cain to nearly stumble forward. He hadn't expected the male to jump all of a sudden like that for no reason. Turning his head over his shoulder lightly as he listened to the other's question about whether or not he was part of the Union, he had immediately dropped the large pole onto the ground with a loud banging thud before turning his entire body to face the other male. Tilting his head only slightly to the side with his usual wicked grin on his lips, a low chuckle could be heard from his lips. "The Union?..hmm..If your asking such a thing. I'm guessing that you would fight me much more serious..if I answered yes?" He questioned the male as he shifted his weight over onto one side. "So I guess so...Yeah, I am part of those group of weaklings." Of course, as he spoke of that it was mostly based onto the fact that many of the strange monsters that were created in The Union were considered weak to him. However, he had known all too well that there were others that were more then a match against him in there as well.

"Now. Can we get this damn thing started?..Your boring me more then that damn human from earlier! Sheesh! I thought you were going to be fun to play with...your nothing more then talk talk talk, just like all the others!" As he spoke, Cain had moved a single hand upwards into what seemed to be a mouth-like shape by just clasping four of his fingers together along with his thumb and moving it up and down as though it were a mouth just talking over and over again. Knealing down to grab onto the lamppost once again with one hand, the hand that he had mocked the man with had now opened out to just show an open palm for a moment. Once again, just as from earlier Cain had focused his energy into the center of his palm only to allow what seemed like a dark-shadowy blob appear in his grasp for a moment that soon took the shape of the scythe he had used earlier.

Allowing the blade of the scythe to just lightly scrape the entire side of the pole from the top to bottom. It allowed the lamppost itself to warp around as though it had become jello for a moment before it quickly once again solidified itself to now form the sharp of what looked to be a spear. "Eh, not what I expected. But I guess it'll do!" His gaze upon the new weapon that he had caused to appear the entire time he spoke, Cain hadn't bothered to await another moment later before tossing the spear toward his opponent at full speed.

Kenshin sighed, "it will merely pass into an unsolved, unexplained murder." He felt a slight headache coming on with all of this happening at once to them. "Whatever it is has moved away for now....I do not think these beings are in immediate danger at the precise moment, though it would be best for them to disperse and go home.." The lamp overhead flickered a bit, glancing at it, he watched the light for a moment. "Odd...." he moved to the post, placing his hand upon the cool metal of its base. "The flow....it's been intterupted..." he glanced off towards the park. "Perhaps it would be best if investigate...if we can find the source and stop it...we may be able to save more lives" he looks towards the park. "It seems to have shifted through there, so it would be the best place to begin" with that he stepped off of the curb, the cars stopped so it was simple enough to get across the street. He was in no hurry, plus it was better if the stayed together, so he paused on the other side for the guardian behind him to follow. This did not sit well with him. In the distance, he saw it.

The lights within the park had flickered briefly, before a gap between them was made. One had gone out. His body was already working, the energy within him shifting and coming alive. The stone and his chi were getting worked up and ready for a fight. From the outside, he appeared normal, but to those close enough, a slight buzz eminated from him. An energy given off ever so slightly, though if touched he might have at that time delivered a small shock to anyone. Most humans would have brushed it off as static electricity or something, though it was much more. The synapses within his body were alread regestering. He could pick them out if needed, which came in handy if he needed to boost his physical performance for a time. Though it would strain and drain his body if undergone to long. It was similar within a battery. A chemical reaction, which gave off abundant energy, though in time it was depleated and needed to be replaced or recharged. It was slightly ammusing to think of himself as a walking battery, though now was not the time for laughs or that. He glanced back at his companion. "Ready?"

Crim had been somewhat pleased when the other stumbled due to his sudden jumping away. That was good, one should always try to keep their opponent off balance. The look on his face was a grim one though, and it only seemed to get a little more grim when the other answered his question. His grip on his katana tightened a bit, and with his left hand he drew the short sword. Surely this would be a fight to the death.

Those blazing yellow eyes narrowed slightly when the other mocked him, and then began to pick up the lamp post again. Crim should have struck then, while the other was retrieving his large weapon, but he hesitated. Because the other male was also doing something else, and Crim was uncertain. A blob had formed, and then a scythe and now it seemed as if the lamp post was turning into something else. A spear, Crim realized.

Crim was silent, he had nothing else to say to this man, though there was no doubt now that this had been the one to commit the murder. As the spear was thrown at him, Crim dodged to the side so that it was sail harmlessly past him. Then he charged, his own weapons raised and poised to deal mortally wounding blows. If they even connected.

"I'm funny," Aro repeated, leaning back and looking a bit surprised. "Most people think I'm a jerk." Though he wasn't aware of how little Axelia laughed, he knew that she was getting a kick out of their time together. It was interesting, to say the least. Mathys grinned, taking another drink as the girl continued.

"Please, continue." The tease was followed by a hidden smile as he took a sip of coffee. "This charming little cafe is worth it's weight in stardust. Apparently there's some kind of serum in their drinks, if you're willing to say all that." Aro finished off his coffee a few moments later (despite it being hot, it didn't burn him). "Watch your tongue, princess. Wouldn't want someone thinking you're coming on to them."

Mathys let the topic shift to the others. He frowned, shaking his head and looking a bit irritated. "I've been looking for them ever since I arrived. Before you, there was nothing." Aro tilted his cup, rolling it along the bottom rim. "Nothing happened." He looked bothered. When Axelia mentioned how he must think of her, his red eyes flickered up.

"None of the guardians are poor choices," he said matter-of-factly. Aro fell silent for a moment, then tilted his head and regarded the woman for a while before speaking. "Don't compare yourself to people like me, Axelia." His voice dropped to a serious tone, and he met her gaze squarely. "Every one of the guardians is necessary." A smirk flit over his face, breaking the severity of the moment. "Or, that's what they keep telling me."

Aro leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table. "At least now we know we aren't alone. I was getting ... bored."

When Ren grabbed his arm, Ceridan looked bothered. Not by the fact that she'd stopped him, but from the emotion he felt rolling off of her. "They don't have me in their system," Cer said quietly, standing and staring at the body. People were slowly approaching, leaving them with a few seconds before they were considered witnesses.

Cer's gold eyes darted to Ren as she pressed her face into his shoulder. He pulled in a breath to say something, but she pushed away suddenly. A blanket of calming emotion settled over the purple-haired girl, and Ceridan watched quietly as she began to whisper to herself. Sirens broke the silence, and the vow that left Ren's lips told Ceridan just what he'd wanted to know: This girl was one of theirs. She was a guardian, just like him.

Ren took his hand, pulling him away from the scene. He hadn't realized he'd been staring at her until they were walking the other way. Ceridan looked her over from the corner of his eye, ignoring the police that pushed past a few of the gathered people. It was incredible that they were able to get so far without being stopped for questioning.

Just like that, they separated. "Wait," Ceridan stepped up next to her, an emotional string being tugged just enough to keep her attention. It wasn't like Dehl meant to do it. It was something the people of Venus did automatically without even thinking of it. That was one thing about earth that bothered him: Cer couldn't feel the emotional pulls of others here. They were so easy to manipulate!

"You're one of us," Ceridan said, his accented voice full of certainty. Quietly lifting his hand, Cer showed her the ring on his middle finger - an orange stone, small, but glittering with an inner light. "Venus," he said, knowing the one word would explain his presence.

As Kenshin had explained that the murder would simply be unsolved and dropped as simple unexplained murder, Koyama had hoped to believe that was true. He had doubted that the humans would ever truly figure out the true reason to who or what had killed the man, and even if they could find out it seemed so much better off that it was kept only to those who knew about The Union. He couldn't seem to help but nod to agree with the other's statement that how the other citizens should probably head to their homes where they could be much safer then out here in the night, especially after what had just happened.

Right as he had nodded, the street light that seemed to be right by where both Kenshin and Koyama had stood began to flicker slightly. Strange, the light was working just fine a minute ago, why would it suddenly start flickering like that. His gaze soon landed upon the silver-haired male as he stated how the current of the lights were being interrupted by some kind of force that was approaching from the park apparently. "Hopefully, we can find and stop this threat before it causes anymore harmful damage to the area." As he spoke and followed Kenshin toward the entrance to the park, it was more then obvious enough to feel the slight change in his body's electric current. It was almost as though the closer he stood to him, the bigger the chance would be that Koyama would end up getting shocked away. He was indeed ready for a battle to come, if there was one.

Even as the guardian of Jupiter asked him for confirmation on whether or not he was ready. Koyama had only given a second nod as he approached his way into the park entrance to see if the two of them could find the source of this problem at last.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, the other male had stayed silent only for Cain to watch him unsheathe his secondary weapon which seemed to had been another blade. Just from those actions, it gave it all well away that his opponent was indeed ready for the real battle to begin. By the time the red-haired male had unsheathed his own second blade, Cain on the other hand had removed his raggy cloak from his body to reveal his topless muscular body that was wrapped in chains left and right. The cuffs that the chains were all attached to were now much more visible upon his wrists as he tilted his head left and right to prepare himself for the battle to come.

It hadn't seemed as though the male had bothered to wait even a moment before charging forward with intentions to deal a heavy amount of damage with his blades. Even though he had known that he would indeed be injured from this next action, it would at least give him the chance to make this battle a bit more fun to him. So rather then even bothering to move a single muscle as the male approached him, Cain stood his ground til the red-haired male came close enough to attacking distance. In that very instant, he had reached out both of his arms forward to let his bare skin take the hit of the twin blades against him.

As the blade had dug into his skin deeply, all that would be heard was his deepening laughter once again. The blade may had stayed perfectly intact and Cain's skin may had been punctured with a deep wound, but in the end he was able to get something out of it for his own good as well. Slowly enough both of his own arms along with his ashy skin had began to morph into a completely different color. The steel-like color that had come across the blade itself had now been the same color of Cain's own skin, allowing his body to have the same amount of durability as the blade itself. With this new body, the strange male had quickly raised his right leg upwards into kicking motion in hopes that he would be able to make contact with the red-haired male's gut before he would pull his swords away from Cain's new body.

"Big whoop" she said as she continued walking. Venus eh? Great, just what she needed, some loverboy following her around. She rolled her eyes a bit. Romance and such was the way of Venus, though they tended to stick their noses into other's emotional buisiness without being asked or desired. She felt a slight annoyance build within her. She paused, turning to him and getting right in his face. "I am Neptune, now lets get one thing straight" she said, "keep your fancy pants emotional readings and controlin to yourself and don't you even THINK of messin with anything to do with my love life or I will put you in the ground..got it?" She gave him an intense look for a moment, before smiling sweetly, taking his hand to shake.

"My name is Ren, a pleasure to meet you Venus" she turned on her heel, humming as she continued to walk. She didn't need any help with her love life at all. No-sirey, she was just fine as she was now. She didn't need a man to help her up or try to baby sit her, she was far more than capable of taking care of herself. As long as mr loverboy over there got that, they would not have any problems. She paused for a moment, looking back at him with a hand on her hip. "Are you coming or what?" she asks. It was getting late, she did not plan to stand out here forever waiting on him to make up his mind, she wanted to get home, shower and get on this case!...Plus maybe on the case of some dinner...she was hungry. It had vanished after seeing that body for a bit, though starving herself would do no good for anyone. She needed her strength and her power if she was going to defeat the bad guy.

Kenshin nodded, following the other into the park. He took a breath, calming himself and his energy. He needed to stay within control and within focus. He had things to do here and getting worked up right of the bat would jepordize him and the other. He walked along, following the growing buzz of electricity within the air. Something was deffiently going on. He noticed movement within the distance, people, or what...appeared to be people. He paused, his eyes on the two figures ahead of him who seemed to be engaging within a fight. He got a bad feeling from the one swinging around the lampost before it was turned into something more.

He tensed a bit, not looking at his partner. His mind was working, taking in every inch of this scene before making a move. Rushing was bad, but waiting could be as well. He closed his eyes for a moment, before continuing closer to the scene. This, this had been what had harmed that man, what had taken his life. This was working for the Union and seemed to be enjoing this fight and such. The other mail wounded, he could see it now. Even though, he was still attempting to hold his own against the other. That was good, though how long could he hold out against this thing that seemed so easily to be able to throw weight around. Who was either of them any way? Why were they here? There were more questions then answers for the moment, though he needed to act.

Crim kept expecting the other to dodge or do something, he certainly hadn't expected the man to stand there and take the attack. Nor did he expect the laughter that rang out from the other's mouth as the blades dug deeply into the other. Then that skin began to change, and for a brief moment uncertainty flashed in those eyes of his. They still blazed like twin suns though, but for a moment, Crim seemed unsure.

He had started to pull back, when the his opponent caught him in the gut with a kick. Crim winced as he grunted and staggered back some. Pulling his swords with him and putting a little distance between him and the enemy. He had dropped to one knee, and the breath had been knocked out of him. Though Crim seemed to recover quickly, he had to. Such things meant the difference between winning and losing a fight.

Crim stood quickly, his stance a defensive one, with both blades poised to defend him from an oncoming attack. The wound in his left shoulder had reopened, though that wouldn't take much to do since it hadn't been sewn or bandaged, but Crim didn't seem to notice it at all. He couldn't afford to be distracted by such trivial things as that. He had to destroy this man, this man was the enemy.

He grit his teeth, eyes taking in this new body of his opponent. In moments, Crim's stance changed again and he rushed forward. He was attempting to feint. His swords seemed as if they were going to strike at the other man's face and throat, but really Crim intended to strike at the other's abdomen with both blades.

Ceridan looked completely taken aback when Ren rounded on him. His golden eyes widened, and he silently withstood her tirade and emotional onslaught without a word. Neptune. Wasn't she the fiery one. By the time the girl took his hand, Cer finally blinked. "It's Ceridan," he said, introducing himself properly. "And I won't push you to do anything you don't want."

Once again, his emotions suffered whiplash when Ren turned on her heel and started walking. Was she always this unpredictable? Did she really have no respect for emotions? Ceridan hesitated, obviously struggling. He wanted to read her emotions, pick up on them, and react accordingly. He also wanted to soothe Ren, and keep her from blowing up so randomly.

Cer met her gaze as Ren looked back at him. "I suppose," he said, beginning to follow the girl. "Where are we going?" Since he couldn't pick up on Ren's more subtle emotions, he couldn't link their destination to anything. Back on Venus, he could tell where people were headed merely by the feelings they held. Recalling how Ren had ... requested that he kept his readings away from her, the guardian frowned and pulled back on his abilities. It was so natural, just like listening to someone speak. It was hard to control. He'd never had to do it before.

Moments later, he felt her emotions just as clearly as his own. So much for keeping his reading clean.

Ceridan looked down at his hand. He'd touched the dead man. He'd felt that pain. Wiping the remaining blood from his hand, Cer drew his sketchbook from under his arm. He'd forgotten he was still carrying it by this time. "I-I don't think I can keep myself from reading you," he finally admitted, frowning as he pulled his abilities back again.

"Well you better learn to" she put it simply, continuing to walk. "We are going to my house, need to start somewhere right?" she thought for a moment. "We should keep this conversation under wraps until we get there, someone might overhear us" she glanced at him, "or will this be hard for you to do as well?" Venus people....such drama queens at times. There was no point in crying about it, suck it up and move on right? She sighed, she couldn't afford to feel those sad, lost feelings. They would get in her way and in the way of her duty. She needed to be fierce, to be strong and work hard so this would not happen again. She blinked a bit, she had gotten off into her own mind and lost track of the one right next to her. She noticed the book. She gasped, "aw! Your an artist?" She took the book from him, opening it to flip through the works within.

Her eyes moved over the artwork, that seemed to capture the inner piece of people and things, their very emotions laid out on the paper within. She paused, smiling warmly at the pages "wow...these are beautiful, your really good." She looked up at him and smiled again, handing the book back to him. True, she was not really shy, more bold and blunt, though she could see and love the beauty in art as well. She did it herself within her outfits, her music and dance. She opened her bag, pulling out one of her own, opening it to show him pages of various outfit designs and lyrics. "It's not exactly the same, but it is my passion" she said, turning the book to her to look at. She sighed a bit, her hand slipping out the Neptune's Heart from around her neck, holding onto it. She missed home, missed her mom and life...

While walking beside the silver-haired guardian through the park to see if they could find the source of the strange dark power surge that the two guardians had noticed around the area, Koyama had kept shifting his gaze over to the corner of his eye at Kenshin. His electrical energy had become more and more obvious by the minute while the two of them tried to find the location onto where this source was coming from. There was no doubt that he was prepared for a battle even more Koyama had been, who still suppressed his energy deep down to keep himself from being noticed by whatever or whoever this enemy was.

It felt like it had taken less then a minute till the two had finally come across what seemed to had been two shadowy figures battling one another up ahead on the sidewalk of the park. With the lights of the park still flickering slightly, Koyama had only been able to see minor details of what both of these figures looked like. It was enough to tell though that they were both indeed males. One of which seemed to had carried a large lamppost as his own weapon while the other had been using a pair of twin blades as it seemed. "Umm..should we help?" There had been no doubt in his mind, that the strange looking male that had thrown the spear-like weapon that was once the lamppost was considered the enemy out of all of this. His figure, his skin, those eyes and that grin on his lips, there was no chance that a guardian of any of the planets would have such a menacing look such as that. Since it didn't seem as though the strange male was of any of the planets, the only other thought that it could've been was that he was part of The Union. So they were attacking Earth after-all.

Watching as the battle progressed, Koyama hadn't even been sure whether or not he should step in to help this other male with the battle. He had been worried that if he had jumped into the battle at a too soon of a rate, there had been a chance he would only get in the way and cause the other male to become distracted and become hurt.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Watching as to how Cain's foot had indeed made contact with the male's body only to cause him to stagger backwards a bit, he had raised a single brow to listen to the slight heavy breathing as to how the red-haired male had needed to catch his breath. Even though Cain had wanted a battle with an enemy, he disliked the idea of attacking someone or anything at all when they could barely even fight back any longer such as when they needed to catch their breath as they did. It was a complete and utter bore to him if he had such a chance to finish the battle within a second when one would need to catch their breath.

So with the few seconds he had to wait, the newly steeled-skin male had turned his gaze onto the arms that had taken the blow from his enemy's weapon. Not only did the blades had punctured into his skin from earlier to cause a dark trail of blood to run down his arm toward his elbow, but it seemed the wound upon his arms had also been burnt quite badly. A low chuckle came from his lips, as he moved his head toward the wound before letting his black tongue extend from his toothy grin as he allowed himself to lick his burnt wound to taste his own blood lightly.

"Nice little toy you got--" Right before Cain was able to finish his sentence, by the time his gaze had landed upon the male once more it had seemed as though he was already dashing forward for yet another attack which seemed more obvious then the last. Even though the pain had surged through his arms was only another thing to get more excited about the battle, Cain wasn't about to just let himself get continuously hit over and over again. So with the closer the red-haired male had gotten toward him, he had hopped backwards multiple times only to notice as the blades came closer to his face and throat they had just as quickly descended toward his abdomen. So the attack that was aimed for his face was nothing more then a distraction, nearly unable to completely dodge the attack Cain had been scratched by the burning blade once again but this time near his stomach area as he placed his hand over his second wound this time. The burning sensation had once more returned but this time not as horrible as it was upon his arms, thanks to the new skin had wore over his ashy skin, it had allowed the burning and mark not to go as deep as to gut out his own organs.

There was no doubt, if Cain had continued to battle this male without a weapon of his own he was going to be leaving this park either dead or burnt all over like a piece of charcoal. So with that thought in his head, he rested both of his arms onto the back of his neck as the large scythe from earlier had reappeared within his grasp. "Lets try this again..shall we?" This time after he had spoken, it seemed to be that he was the one to dash forward for the attacking as by the time Cain had came into attacking distance of the red-haired male he immediately swooped his large scythe toward the legs of the male as though he was preparing to cut off both of the legs at the sametime. As the scythe itself had cut through the air though at the sametime for his strike, it had seemed as though the area of where his blades had sliced toward had immediately cut the middle of the air itself only to reveal what looked to be a completely pitch black void of nothingness that had been filled with strange glowing yellow eyes and each with it's own wicked grin. Other then those faces, the only other visible thing through the dark void was that each one of those faces were the heads of what seemed to be young children. That dark void had only been visible for about three to four seconds before it had faded away.

"Bored?" She questioned him. "Your lifestyle doesn't seem boring to me." She was kind of surprised that he'd said he was bored. Riding the motorcycle alone was the most exhilarating thing Axelia had ever done. She couldn't imagine what else he did for thrills.

Besides, Axeila hadn't been bored at all. She liked school here. She was a sponge when it came to learning and she'd learned tons of new things here about this planet and things she'd never heard of before. Plus, people really seemed to like her. She'd made a lot of new friends and did a lot of stuff when school wasn't in. When she wasn't volunteering of course.

It seemed to her when she arrived on Earth that the people here were mostly disorganized, in need of a lot of help and mostly just in constant chaos. It unnerved her at first. Things on the moon were always calm and quiet and serene. But when she started asking if she could help people, she found that the majority of them were overjoyed to have the help.

That made Axelia feel a lot better. Not only did she love to help, the fact that she was a sponge when it came to learning meant that she did better than most people who would be paid to do what she volunteered for. Not that she bragged about it. Never would she do that. She was just happy to help.

She responded to Aro. "Well, I wouldn't get overly excited that I'm the first guardian you found. I'm afraid I don't actually know how much help I'll even be. This wasn't my job like it was all of yours. This guardian thing happened rather unexpectedly." At those last words, sadness could be detected in her voice as she held onto her tea with both hands, staring into the warm liquid.

She continued, kicking the sadness aside as she watched Aro again. "I'm told I'll be able to do great things. But so far I've only had one chance," she was referring to the earlier incident, "and I didn't do anything but glue my own feet to the ground." She sounded amused, though it was just a facade.

Axelia grinned now. "I can do this though..." she picked up a butter knife and set it on it's end, which would be impossible to do in itself. She made sure no one was looking and with her finger, she traced a heart into the air. As she did, the knife molded itself into the shape she'd drawn.

Axelia laughed. "I saw an Earth movie where the main good guy bent a spoon with his mind. So I tried it, only I thought a heart was cuter than an L shape." Axelia shrugged. "My mother said we were capable of "magic". She made it seem like nothing. Like something for kids' birthday parties. But my father said not to underestimate it, that magic had unlimited possibilities. I never saw my mother in action, but my father said she was capable of energy blasts, power absorption, force field generation, healing, telekinesis..."

She trailed off. "I on the other hand," she smiled and gestured to her metal heart on the table, "can bend butter knives." She laughed again. "It sure is something useful huh? Watch out Union!" Axelia shook her head at herself. She'd never have talked like that in front of the moon people. Earth's ways were wearing on her. She was learning sarcasm well. The fact that Aro didn't seem to be someone she needed to overly impress didn't keep her in line well either.

Crim remained silent, and every time his opponent moved back, he moved forward. Until his blade scratched the surface of the enemy's abdomen. It didn't go as deeply as he had wanted, then the other was bringing back that scythe. It was an intimidating weapon but Crim wasn't easily intimidated, fear had no place in his mind during battle. You were either going to win or die, if you were afraid it just meant you would mess up and die sooner.

It was his turn to move backwards as the other came at him with that scythe, and he moved his swords down to try and block the weapon even as he moved backwards. Crim was rather fond of his legs, he would prefer if they stayed intact, they were rather useful appendages. The scythe had cut the air, seemed to rip the very fabric of time and space itself, or something like that. He saw eyes and faces staring out from across that void, and then it was gone. Crim didn't know what to do with this new information, so he shoved it to the back of his mind.

It had only served to confirm that he really really did not want to let that blade touch him. He couldn't avoid it forever though, he moved his swords, to deflect and parry the other's attacks as best he could. He would not give up and he would not go down easily.

The two seemed to move back and forth in a sort of attacking dance, Kenshin silent for just a few moments as he watched the moves of the true. It was a desicion to make that could be either good or bad. They could cause the one male to lose focus and be harmed, or they could potentially save his life. He was wounded, so was the other. This little fight of theirs could not last much longer, especially not without drawing attention.

"If they do not stop this, it will draw to much attention..." he closed his eyes, taking a slight breath. He opened his eyes, giving a slight smile, before directing his attention back to the fight. He raised a hand, careful to keep his attention on the man with the scythe. So he was the enemy hmm? Very well, he was in for a little shock. Separating the two seemed to be the best option for the moment, allowing them time and opportunity to talk if needed. It seemed the other did not notice them, so they had the element of surprise for the moment, that was a plus as well.

The air began heating up around his hand slightly, as he felt a light tingling sensation move over his skin and through the muscle. The energy within his body, was reacting to the energy within the air and the earth. Light crackling sounded around his hand as sparks formed. The energy was released in the form of small electric bolts that moved from his hand through the air towards the scythe man's torso. The air lit up with a slight light from the attack as it moved through the air towards the other.

He had to focus on it, losing focus with electricity running through your body could mean danger. Jupiter guardians were known for this concentration, often meditating to perfect it and to reach an inner peace and balance. He needed this to keep from losing control of this power within him. It wasn't really an immense charge, though it would be enough to knock the wind out of the other and push him back a ways he hoped. Though with such a defensive body at the moment it would be hard to tell. Instead, he attempted to direct the attack towards the cuts on his abdomen, for a better effect.

Swinging the large weapon toward the red-haired male's feet and legs to hope that he would be able to rip apart his legs from his entire body itself, it had seemed as though even with his opponent not being at full strength he was still able to fight rather well. So this fight wasn't as a big disappointment than he had thought it would become at first sight. It didn't seem too long into the battle did the male actually get enough time in between Cain's swoops that he was able to parry the next strike that the crazed male had tried to deliver. With the scythe being parried only slightly to the side, he had quickly taken the chance he had to backflip backwards while the blade itself scraped across the cement floor violently until he had been able to bring some distance between the two males once again.

Letting the rod of the scythe rest upon the back of his shoulders, Cain stared at the other male in front of him with his own usual grin growing slightly wider. "This battle is much more enjoyable than we thought it would be, wouldn't you say?" as he had spoken to the red-haired male, Cain was unaware of the slight change in the air current around him. Also unknowing that there had actually been two guardians watching this battle play out before their own eyes, Cain had only taken a glance down at his feet as he noticed to how the steel-like skin that he had absorbed earlier from the male's blade was now beginning to wear off.

By the time he had raised his head back up, it was unexpected to find that multiple electrical bolts had electricity were coming straight for him. This was indeed something rare to see but both of Cain's eyes had widened large when the sight of the electricity had came so very close toward him. Due to him unaware of this was coming straight for him by a guardian, it was an obvious fact that the attack was going to make a landing upon his body. Quickly enough, he had extending his scythe into the ground as Cain's body was pushed back by the strong force of energy that had hit his body. The blade ripping through the solid cement ground had helped his body come to a much slower push backwards until he came to a complete halt. Thankfully his abdomen was still protected slightly by the steel skin not being completely faded just yet. Placing a hand over his wound upon his abdomen, once Cain had finally taken his gaze upon where the strike had come from he was now able to figure out who had tried to attack him.

Immediately as he focused his energy to figure out that the two males that stood at a distance from the battle were actually two guardians. The strange male's toothy grin had slowly returned upon his lips only for him to begin laughing manically about the fact that he was going to have an amazing time to fight two guardians and this worthy opponent at the sametime. "This is--" Sadly enough, before he could even finish his sentence and allow even more of his energy to escape from his body to fight these guardians with more power in his arsenal. The last thing he had expected was the sudden rattling of the chains upon both of Cain's wrists cuffs. They had once more raised themselves into the air behind his body before they quickly entwined themselves completely and tightly against his ashy skin. "Dammit! Let me go! You bastards! Let me go!" He swore and cursed violently loud all the while he had tossed and turned upon the floor after being chained up tightly.

The chains were not only a way to keep Cain from going into useless battles that were not meant for him or simply meaning that he wasn't ready for them, but as well whenever Cain had increased his energy to a certain point the chains would also activate themselves to stop him before his power went out of control as it had done the first time his experimenting was taken placed. While he had tossed and turned upon the ground from being wrapped within the chains, the large gapping void that had been ripped open into the cement when Cain had used his scythe to try and slow himself down had remained in front of him. Slowly enough, several pairs of shadow-like arms and hands had made their way out from the void as they dragged onto Cain's body before dragging him straight into the darkness of the void itself. Once gone into the shadows, the scythe along with the void itself had vanished in mere seconds leaving everything and anything that would be thought to leave a scar in the cement had returned to normal.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just as expected, Kenshin's thoughts were just the same as Koyama's as well. If this battle between these two males wouldn't come to an end soon, the police that had been investigating the crime scene in the alleyway would sure to hear the commotion going on in the park and become too curious for their own good. As the air currents had began to shift once again into a more electrical charge-like feeling to it, Koyama's gaze had never been removed to glance over toward the silver-haired male since he knew all too well that it was his doing that had caused this to happen. There was no doubt that he had planned to send out an attack toward the other male who seemed rather crazed in a way.

Watching as to how several bolts of electricity was sent toward the ash-skinned male only to send him backwards multiple feet. There was no doubt that had indeed caught the male's attention and the fight was most likely going to be prepared to go towards them as well. So with his own fists coming to a slight clench by his sides, the once slightly cooled air of the night breeze had quickly dropped even further down to a more freezing temperature. Slowly enough the trees, lamppost and even the grass around the park area that the fighting was going on had began to freeze over from the intensely cold temperature ropping with every passing second.

Even Koyama had now been prepared for a battle against this male. However, when the male had seemed to be forced upon the ground by what looked to be multiple chains wrapping around his body. The crimson-haired guardian couldn't help but raise a brow on what was going on. It wasn't till the strange shadowy hands extending from that dark void to pull in the body of chained up male did Koyama actually decide to do something. He had extended his right arm forward along with his palm opening up visibly seen. Immediately the air around where the void once laid had quickly become quite heavy for a moment until a large gush of water decided to pour down upon the empty cement now. 'Dammit..what the hell was that..?' he asked himself mentally before turning his gaze upon the red-haired male who had just fought against the other male. "Are you alright?.." As Koyama had spoken, the heavy current area that once surrounded around his boy to indicate that the water pressure around where he stood was much more thick had quickly faded as well.

Crim's skin was a little pale, and he had started to pant softly though he was trying to hide it. He couldn't show weakness to the enemy, but it had been hours since his injury, and it hadn't been wrapped or anything. He felt a little lightheaded, but he would fight until one of them or both of them were dead. He was almost glad when the other back flipped away, putting distance between them, as Crim's own motions had slowed some, barely but still probably enough to mean the difference between life and death with this opponent. He couldn't deflect and parry all night.

Though Crim preferred to be silent during battle, the other's words did illicit a response. "Battle is a grim affair, not something to be enjoyed." He said those words, but the excitement of battle was in his eyes. The adrenaline pumping furiously through his veins, still his facial expression was a rather grim one. His grip on his swords changed slightly, as he readied to attack the other. Crim hesitated, that head snapping to the side, when his opponent was hit by something..electricity it seemed. Blazing yellow eyes narrowed at the two figures he saw. Then his attention returned to his opponent.

Crim knew he shouldn't hesitate. Hesitating was something that got you killed in battle, but he did hesitate as his opponents chains began to wrap him up. Mostly curious to see what would happen now, though he knew he should rush forward and try to deal a finishing blow to the other. Crim couldn't make his legs move, though he really wanted to. That man was with the Union, and he needed to be destroyed. When Crim did make his legs move, the other was already being pulled away into that void, and water came crashing down onto it. Most likely from one of the strangers.

Those yellow burning eyes blinked, the temperature had changed, he noticed belatedly and then someone was speaking. One of the strangers, who he still wasn't sure of. They certainly weren't human, they could be guardians. They could be with the Union, though if they were they probably wouldn't have attacked one of their own. Maybe. Crim looked them over, studied them for a few moments before sheathing his short sword and lowering the katana, so the tip of the blade pointed at the ground.

It was an action that suggested he wouldn't attack them, but he was ready to defend himself if they did attack him. "Guardians?" It was a simple question, it only needed one answer, and if the answer was yes he might ask for proof. It was hard to concentrate, but he forced himself to. He had thought that he had plenty of time to get to Axelia's house and wrap his shoulder, but that had been stupid, he realized. That should have been the very first thing he did.

Kenshin watched as the dark being was thrown back, seeming to enjoy the thought of their presences. It was then that the chains began to move and he was dragged within the void he had created. Kenshin raised an eyebrow for a moment, watching where the other had been moments before. It was not until the injured man spoke, that he looked over to see the two others speaking to one another. Kenshin turned away from the now empty scene to them. "You should sit...rest a bit" he says, moving over to him a bit. "Your wound needs to be looked at and treated." The other wanted to know if they were guardians, so he knew of them. He nodded a bit, "yes, though that can wait until your shoulder is taken care of."

He moved to the man, keeping his hands within sight to show he was not a threat, though with what he had just done with those hands, it could go either way. He gently moved to his side, looking at the wound on his shoulder. It had not been treated in awhile it seemed. He sighed a bit, turning to walk to a fountain nearby. "You should sit down" he says, slipping out a hankerchief and placing it so the water would fall on it. The wound needed to be cleaned, they would also need something to use to bandage it temporarily. His mind was on that, rather than on what had just gone down for the moment. Someone's health outweighed wasting time to talk, when the words would be just as good once they were taken care of. He rung out the fabric, before walking back over.

Crim half raised his katana as one of the strangers began to approach him. The stranger showed concern for him, and had answered yes to his question. Still, he probably should ask for proof. Crim didn't, he sheathed the katana, and began to pull off that white coat. The stranger had told him to sit, twice now, and slowly Crim moved to sit. He watched as the other moved to the fountain to wet a handkerchief, he pulled his white coat into his lap, and grabbed the bottom of it. Moments later the sound of ripping was heard as he ripped the cloth into a few strips. The lovely coat was already ruined anyway, with rips in the shoulder and stained with his blood.

"Axelia, is with another. Mars, I think." He would speak the words quietly once the stranger with the wet handkerchief had come back to him. "My name is Crim, I am supposed to be Axelia's protector." Even if they didn't know him or recognize his name, which they would really have no reason to, he was just a soldier after all, he was sure they would recognize Axelia's name. Wouldn't they? Shouldn't they? Hadn't they attended any of the balls on the moon? Those things didn't really matter, all that mattered was that he had found some guardians, although that did him little good. Axelia should have been the one finding them, not him.

Not reading someone's emotions would take more than just learning. It would take years of study. Emotions were a way of communicating on Venus, just like talking or body language. It was merely another way to speak to others. Picking up and using emotion was commonplace.

Ceridan nodded at Ren's suggestion. They should probably keep their conversation silent until they got to a safer place to speak. Who knew what or who could hear them in public? Somehow, he didn't appear slighted by her harsh tone and prodding words. Instead, the male's gold eyes flickered with concentration. Feeling seemed to drain away from him momentarily.

That moment was shattered when Ren reached over and took his sketchbook. The action was so sudden, it obviously startled the guardian. A surge of nearly violent emotion lashed at Ren, easily reminiscent of a cat slapping at something nearby. The feelings were pulled back with a hiss of breath.

"Yes," Ceridan calmed himself quickly, leaning over to watch the pages as Ren flipped through them. "I've had a lot of practice back home." Ren's compliments were met with a surge of gratitude - and she felt it from him. "Thank you." He accepted his work with a slight smile, but looked truly intrigued when Ren paused to open her bag.

The drawings were different, but still held beauty. There was a distinct feel in these sketches and clothing designs, and the most recent ones bore the distinct signature of earth clothing. As Ren shared her work, Ceridan found a feeling of appreciation welling over into her mind as well as his - it was only natural to share emotions on his planet.

"They're beautiful," he said, eyeing the way she clutched at the stone around her neck. Ceridan smiled a bit, then nudged her arm. "You're very good." He could feel the sudden longing within her, and it made him wonder why she was suddenly sad. Homesick, perhaps? It was hard to tell since she wasn't from Venus, and had no practice "talking" to him through emotion.

His gold eyes flickered in the direction they'd been walking. "Do you have any more at home?" he asked, gently nudging Ren's arm to bring her back out of her reverie. It was his own subtle way of reminding her that they were headed elsewhere.
-

"They'll tremble in fear when the see those," Aro said, quirking a crooked smile. He reached out and lifted the knife, inspecting it as though to ensure it was real. "A real shocker this will be."

The guardian of Mars listened to the woman, but didn't know how to comfort her. Aro hadn't heard her story, and just knowing that she was in pain nearly made him uncomfortable. Something in her past had gone terribly wrong, and if he was putting the pieces together correctly, Crim was a part of that past. The thought didn't leave his mind until his red eyes found themselves on Axelia's face once again.

"Misery loves company, princess." Mathys set the knife down before her, chuckling. "While I'd like a rough-and-tumble warrior by my side, a charming moon guardian will do." As he said as much, Aro's gloved hand moved up to rest on her head, his thumb running over her forehead lightly. It was a comforting gesture, obviously one that was used on Mars. "You've got the silver tongue of a diplomat, and the looks of a high celestial. You'll be just fine." If she'd known him better, Axelia would have realized that those kinds of compliments were few and far between.

With that, Aro called their waitress over and paid for their drinks. "Where should we go from here?" His red eyes traced over the cafe's interior before moving to his bike outside. "I don't know where you live."

Ren gave a slight glare at the still constant push and pull of emotions from the other. When her arm was nudged, she looked up at him for a moment. She was tempted to flick him, though resisted, nodding slightly. "Right! We must keep a move on!" she turned, walking on ahead. "I have tons of sketches and stuff at home, naturally it is where I keep them all, since I can't carry them around with me" she looked back at him for a moment.

"You keep yours at home right?" it was more rhetorical, to prove her point then needing an answer. She thought for a moment she might have sounded rude. She turned around, so she was facing him and walking backwards. "Sorry, I don't do well with redundant or obviously answered questions though some might not seem that way to others" she sighed. "I have tons of journals that have already been filled at home, as well as my work room" she smiled at him, before turning back around to walk beside him.

"So that is what you were doing in the park yes...your drawing?" she looked up at the sky for a moment, at the stars above. It might have been a redundant question on her end, which made her feel even worse for saying that. She would work on it yes. She nodded to herself, looking over at him once more. So, this was Venus' guardian huh?

She rolled her eyes a bit at the thought of that he would obviously be a big hit with the ladies and such. Ugh, if he was one of those pompus, arrogant pretty boys, she was going to smack him. Time would tell, since she couldn't really make up her mind right now about him. That would not be fair to him at all, since he hadn't had a chance to make an impression on her or anything. Though if he was the touchy-feely, overly-sensitive type to....she would still smack him. She turned her head away to hide a smile and stop a laugh that was rising.

She picked the knife up when he set it down. "I could always throw it at them or something, you know?" She mused. "Or bend their jewelries, should they be wearing any." She laughed again. Even with the things that continued to try and bring her down, it was hard not to feel somehow, carefree, around Aro.

Then he was touching her. His large hand rested on her cheek as his thumb stroked her forehead. It was a comforting gesture that shocked Axelia, but not as much as it actually did its job. The very warm hand was gentle, more so than Axelia would have thought possible of Aro, and the warmth itself gave her the feeling of being very close to another, hugging perhaps. Very comforting.

Compliments came next and a light blush crept into Axelia's cheeks. When he removed his hand she refrained from reaching out and stopping him, but didn't. How surprising Mars had been. Would the others be like this? She'd heard of all of them. None were like her. All were great at what they did. Some of them were said to be friendly and gentle, others scary and intimidating. Would she find that those things were wrong in them, too? Or was it just Axelia?

Perhaps Mars was just trying very hard to be nice to her since she was a princess or something. Though Axel never said the word princess. She didn't feel that being a princess was right for her. Not that she couldn't handle it, just that is wasn't very, fun.

Aro called the waitress over and paid for their drinks. Axelia thanked her in regards to the wonderful tea and excellent service, then thanked Aro as well. Her thank you to him was more general for now, though in her mind it covered many things.

When he looked outside at the bike, her pale gaze followed. "I live another six lights towards North Tokyo," she replied. "You don't have to take me," she added, "I love the walk." It was true. Axelia could take the city bus home after school, but she never did. The scenery here on Earth was amazing to her. Everywhere she looked she saw something new and different, and so many interesting things were always happening.

"But I'd go anywhere on a motorcycle," she added in almost a whisper. She'd really loved the thing, which would probably be surprising to anyone who knew her and saw her on it. She wasn't supposed to do things like that. It wasn't princess like. Besides, putting yourself in danger as a guardian was different from willingly putting yourself in danger on something like that. And Axelia loved it.

She laughed and looked back at Aro. "It seems you're rubbing off on me a bit," she said. "I like it. I don't get to have fun like that on the moon. Its better than walking and still gets you somewhere fast like riding the bus. Only you get to feel the wind rushing over your body and through your hair. Everything speeds by with nothing around you, like you're flying." She giggled. Aro probably thought she was one weird girl.

His expression deadened, and Ceridan was deadpan as he spoke. "I look forward to the day when one can carry every piece of art they've ever made." It wasn't possible, and his sarcastic quip was followed by raised eyebrows. If she wanted to be "rude," he would play the game. It felt unnatural, but still....

Ceridan nodded, losing his stiff behavior when Ren asked what he'd been doing in the park. Apparently, these "redundant" questions didn't bother him one bit. If anything, they were merely conversation tools. They were commonly used on Venus, so he thought nothing of them. "I spend a lot of my time in public areas. The people are interesting here."

He noticed her quick inspection, and sent a wave of appreciation her way once more. He could feel her laughter bubbling close to the surface. Cer smiled in response, saying nothing as they continued onward. "Did you ever attend any of the moon celebrations?" he asked, walking beside her with an easy gait. He almost seemed too graceful for a male, especially a human one.

-

Aro chuckled as a blush lit up Axelia's cheeks. "That's better," he said, standing. Mathys listened for a moment, then laughed out loud when he heard her talking about the bike. "Anywhere, hm?" The guardian stepped toward the door, motioning for the girl to follow him. "Why walk when you can fly, then?"

He looked slightly stunned that this was "fun." Honestly, this was just commonplace....

"Life sounds dull on the moon," Aro said, opening the door. When they were both outside, he headed straight for his bike. "What the heck do you do for fun?" Without a second glance at her, he revved his bike to life. Waiting, Aro grinned. "And I insist on driving you wherever you need to go. If not for the sake of being with another guardian, for the sake of reminding you that there is still some thrill left in life."

She glanced at him a bit, looking at him for a moment. Seems he could not be patient to wait on outer worldly conversation until they reached their destination. She shrugged a bit, "I remember going with my mother, though...she was not to interested in attending them and niether was I." That was all she would say on the matter, though she had her reasons. One of them being parental, though she had not fully known at the time and by the time she did, it was to late. She turned, poking him in the side of the head "you better be keeping your feelings and such to yourself, or I will drop kick you right here I swear." She laughed, only half serious, though it was to lighten the mood a bit and to attempt to shift the conversation. A few people passed by, one group of girls looking at them then away whispering. Her eyes narrowed a bit.

Ugh, typical earth girls. Could a beautiful Neptune girl and a handsome Venus guy not go out on a stroll without someone thinking something else! She paused, wait, did she just think he was handsome. She gritted her teeth, glaring more, though mostly at herself. Ok, so he was not horrible looking, though it wasn't like she was obsessed with looks or checking people out. It was natural right? Yeah, so nothing to worry about. She nodded to herself, before looking back down at her uniform and sighing. She could not wait to get out of this thing. It made her stand out in the two, well...more then her hair made her. Many thought it was just dyed that way, though she could never tell them it was natural. A lot of her planet was baised on a blue and purple color scheme. It was natural for her.

Axelia had followed Aro out the door and to the bike. What did she do for fun? "Well," she replied, "I study a lot. It's important to be intelligent." She seemed to be thinking for a moment. "We play games, too. Some of them are popular on Earth, though they don't know that the sports originated in the moon Kingdom, like Jai Alai and Croquet."

She grimaced as he revved the bike. Not because of the sound, but because comparing her life to what she'd heard and seen of his so far was, well, sad. Her life had been boring compared to his, and even compared to most Earth people. They had games like football, vehicles like motorcycles, carnivals, speed boats, buildings that reached into the sky. Even their schooling and work was fun compared to her one on one teachings.

Axelia had enjoyed her life though. She'd been a very happy girl, up until her mother's death. Now she was in a stage of grief, where most things made her wary, maybe a little frightened. She was unsure of everything now. She'd closed herself off from everything, becoming more of an introvert. It would pass, especially as she spent more time with the other guardians, though she wouldn't think so.

Aro's last words struck her wrong. "I have had plenty of thrills, thankyouverymuch," she lied. And she was a bad liar. The familiar sound of loud donging could be heard from a clock tower nearby. Axelia's eyes suddenly widened. She hadn't been paying attention to the time at all! Her exchange family would be worried. Axelia was never late.

"Oh no! I'm late!" She hopped onto the bake of the bike effortlessly. Had her mind not been on getting home NOW, it would have surprised her. "Well go!" she demanded, the princess coming out in her as she held on to Aro tightly. She frowned a determined frown at the road as if trying to will them to go faster.

Perhaps that was why she was familiar, then. Dehl must have seen Ren at one of the balls, or something.

Ceridan started when Ren's finger poked him in the side of the head, responding with another "bat" of emotions. "That's like telling someone not to breathe!" he said, his tone semi-serious. The guardian gave a disgruntled grunt, which seemed very uncharacteristic of his usual smooth demeanor. "You'd better start kicking."

Playful feelings flit over Ren's mind, portraying Cer's own. He didn't miss the glare that Ren gave the path ahead, nor the vicious feelings that she portrayed upon seeing the humans walking away as they gossiped. "You don't strike me as someone who cares about what others think," Ceridan said, tucking his hands into his pockets as they walked.

They'd gone quite a ways now, and finally exited the park. Dehl kept himself a comfortable distance from Ren, and politely trained his gaze ahead of them. If anything, he seemed like one of those nobles you would read about in fantasy books. Excellent posture, polite, and a face to match. Ceridan allowed Ren to lead them closer to her home, following beside her at whichever pace Ren was comfortable setting.

"I have a place of my own," he said, smiling a bit. I could leave, if I annoy you that much." A wave of strange emotion washed over Ren again. This time, it felt like bubbles of laughter. He was laughing through his emotions!

"Studying for fun," Aro said, nodding in understanding. He obviously didn't share the same feelings about schooling. "The only part of education I enjoyed was the training." The male flashed a grin, and revved his bike again. When the bell tolled, and Axelia practically flung herself at the bike, Mars chuckled. "You have to tell me where we're going before I can get you there, girly."

Glancing over his shoulder at the determined scowl on Axelia's face, Mathys shook his head. "I'm going. Just hold on." He pulled in to traffic, listening for directions as they slid between cars. Doubtlessly, they would arrive before the 10 minute mark hit, even if she was on the outskirts of town!

Over the rush of wind and traffic, Aro's voice rose. "I'm sure you've had plenty of thrills, princess. You haven't had any that can compare to the ones you'll get around me." Princess. How did he know? Well, he knew of the other guardians, even though he hadn't attended the balls or celebrations. Why? It was both wise and strategic to at least know the names and powers of the other guardians. Who knew which ones would eventually be a challenge, or turn against the tides?

"Keep the directions coming, Axelia. I don't know where you live."
